Sucks the only non asshole RO is man only now. Yeah they have trauma, but the way they treat the MC who has doesn't deserve it is borderline emotional abuse. J was the only RO who was MC didn't have to deal with that and who I could realistically see MC pursuing for a relationship, now they're just Jason.

I'm confused on why you would assume any of the ROs are assholes to MC? Having complicated feelings about MC doesn't equate them to being an asshole nor does it equate to emotional abuse. None of the ROs aside from Nico/Naomi are written to be asshole ROs to MC. They just understandably feel very complicated about their return.

MC has missed a lot and I don't think it's fair to equate people with heavy trauma struggling to welcome MC with open arms as emotionally abusive assholes.

Deep down does C still harbor some romantic feelings for MC after finding out and having a few days or so to process that they’re alive ?

Cath has convinced themself they have 100% moved on from MC. They're a completely different person compared to the Cath you see in the prologue.

I can't remember if this was asked before, but I'll just ask it again if you don't mind? I was just wondering if there's someone (the ROs or non-ROs) that *genuinely* misses the MC? I understand the bitterness, confusion, and maybe suspecion that some of them may have. But if a friend or loved one was killed so tragically and was brought alive again in the oddest of ways, shouldn't one or some or even *all* of them feel protective of the MC? Because I would... or maybe that's just me lmao

I mean, they're back and alive again. Shouldn't they feel at least relief? Or maybe feel relief *after* getting confused and/or angry? 🥺

I hope I'm not coming across as rude, I'm simply curious and already heartbroken for my future MC.

Thank you and glad to be back! Luckily I am. I took some time away to really sit with the story and decide I still wanted to tell it 💗

I think they miss MC in their own ways. It would feel like they should be relieved and happy to see their best friend back but MC missed everything that happened after that night. People died, many people they were close to and in their circle. In their eyes, MC died and a lot changed.

It took a long time to move on. They had state mandated therapy and they had PTSD and had to grieve and it was tough to process. It fundamentally changed them and it took a long time to move on. MC returning is like a slap in the face because now they have to grieve the person that MC used to be and come to terms with this new MC that doesn't know them. They're all new people. MC may be the same person but they're not. It's like getting forced back into a past they finally moved on from.

So they do miss MC every day, but they've accepted that MC wasn't supposed to leave the grave lol they'll feel relief eventually they just need to come to terms with it.

I think the one who'd be most protective would be James. He has some distance to think rationally and is happy to see MC again especially since MC inspired him to pursue the career he has now.

Did any of the legion members know about N’s alleged feelings for MC?

It leaned more toward an open secret. Since they're celebrities as well there were a lot of tabloids and gossip rags that hinted at it. Cath did a lot of appearances on their own due to their elevated status within the group so Rea and Ray were put together often and N and MC were paired up to do gigs/appearances/keynotes and so of course people would create a story.

Cath brushed it off ofc since it didn't bother them and they didn't think twice about it. Everyone else secretly wondered if the rumors had any merit.

N would play it off as a joke but N joked that they'd want to sleep with everyone in Legion because they're a playboy/girl like that so no one really took it seriously. Guess that helped them lol

It was! But I did get some people saying that MC being mentally and physically 20 while the ROs are 30 made them feel uncomfortable and I can see why. MC was just 19 years old a few months ago while the ROs are fully thirty so I get why it was weird sksksks

I think this idea still fits since MC does still feel 25 mentally, but the gap isn't as big!

What changed?

Logan isn't an RO anymore (that may change)

Instead of a decade I changed it to six years.

Cath's Present personality changed the most. I just wanted a stoic Cath after the six year jump lol

MC ages this time around but they still don't remember anything so it still feels like only a night went by. To them, they didn't age at all but they can see it in the physical changes that they did age.

J is now just James. There's two set genders and two gender selectable now.

It's a bit grittier and darker.

All the other changes are changes no one saw so :)

Therapist Notes: Cath claims to be fine but I can sense they are irritable. They have stopped visiting [MC]'s memorial site. They drive an extra hour to work simply to avoid [MC]'s statue. I believe these are not proper coping methods to move on. In fact, I think this is counterintuitive to their growth. They refuse to listen.

I believe it would be beneficial for Cath to take a substantial break. I understand they are essential to the company but Cath's insistence on working is unhealthy. Cath's mental state is currently stable but it is precarious. They are receptive to the state mandated therapy, which is a good sign, but they still refuse to open up completely. I fear we may causing more harm than good. Backing the most powerful person in the world into a corner feels like playing with fire.

Quick question last time I remember the former fan was gender selectable was it changed or it was always this way?

The former fan was gender selectable! I always saw J as James Sato when I first did SR but made him gender-selectable to balance it. Him being male is relevant to his route which is why I stayed true to my 'vision' this time around.

The four core ROs aren't the only ROs I see in mind. There's another female character that I see being a romance option down the line--like Logan--if everything works out.

For now, there's two gender-selectable ROs (Cath and N) and two set gender ROs (Rea and James)! But that doesn't mean it'll stay that way!

You're not misremembering. Some big changes in the story made it that Logan being an RO right now won't work. It's not *completely* off the table but I just didn't want to give anyone false hope by labeling him as an RO right out the gate!

yes it's stolen res! back and better than ever Lol. Essentially I was getting harassed and accused of my story not being original. I scoured the forums to see if there was a story that was similar to mine but found none. In hindsight it was a troll but I felt discouraged and just didn't want to do it anymore. Thought it was a sign.

But the story never left my head and I realized I shouldn't let a troll stop me. I didn't want to make this until I knew for sure I had the demo written so here I am!
