My match fell through as well. And it sounded all so good. I hope we can find our matches soon.
I’m officially back. I have to admit, I felt a little discouraged when my match fell through and needed some time alone to process what happened; but I’m back and in a place where I can try again.

Lucky girl. Sounds like a lot of fun. I’ve been studying a lot lately.
Tumblr media
What a few days! I’ve done absolutely nothing and it had been absolutely fabulous just laying around and enjoying the beautiful weather.

True. Maybe during break. Depending on how I feel then.

Who says you need a muse?

I am living in New York as well, so that would be no problem. And offering free guitar lessons doesn’t get enough people interested? Wow. I thought people would love to get that for free.
Tumblr media
Hi.
Well, I usually let them come to my place. Since it’s big enough. I’m actually looking for people to teach it too again. I used to in LA now that I’m in New York. I’ve had no luck.

You do? Really? That sounds awesome. Although in person is probably better because then you can get at least free food or drinks out of it.
Tumblr media
Hi.
See, I usually do lessons for free, for people who actually want to learn. Usually in person or via Skype.

A good bonus though.
Tumblr media
She died...and I got a lot of money afterwards. I picked early childhood because it’s the part where kids have the most fun to learn things and develop so much skills and all. They are still open to the world and want to learn it all.
No, that was more like a bonus.
Tumblr media
Left for you? Well, that certainly sounds interesting. Why did you pick early childhood?

Oh, I know that there are awesome places and I really want to see some of them. So I do appreciate it. I just didn’t find the muse to travel yet.
Tumblr media
You do that. If not only for my work- do it for the scenery. People don’t appreciate how the United States looks sometimes.

I have a problem with social anxiety, sometimes it is hard to leave the apartment without someone with me who I trust - and there aren’t many people I trust lately. So yeah, traveling is not a thing I am thinking about right now. And you can’t see the stars from my windows. We have this big laundromat next door and their lights are blinking all day long as it is open 24/7. So you can’t really see stars on the sky. Wow, that is a harsh way to get to know about it. I am sorry. I don’t know where my real mum is as well. I hope they are both still living because I really want to meet the person who brought me into this world.
Tumblr media
Why not? Travelling, not that I’ve done much of it, is awesome. You should come to Michigan. It’s not as grand as New York but it’s got some pretty cool cities. Paris looks cool too but I feel like I’d go and just get bummed out by all the couples.See the stars…? You’re… not making much sense, dude.  I did, yeah. They pretty much made sure I knew I was adopted as soon as I could understand what that meant… I just didn’t know I had a twin until they decided that they would’ve preferred the other twin. I’m sorry about your mom… I don’t know where mine is. Or if she’s alive or anything…

That is awesome. ANd I hope it will get easier once I get a hang of it. Right now it is all still very confusing but I just started, so yeah.
Tumblr media
Hi.
I understand that. My stepdad actually taught me a little bit. Then I taught myself the rest of it. It gets easier once you basically learn where to put your fingers for cords.

Alright, I’ll keep that in mind. If i ever find the muse to travel I’ll go and look at some of your pieces.
Tumblr media
If you’re really desperate to see it, which, you never know, I did quite a few mural pieces in Graffiti Alley in Ann Arbor up in Michigan. Not too far away from NYC. I’ve been on the west coast for the past few years, but I know there’s also some of my work in cities like Pittsburgh and Edison.

It probably got covered up if it was years ago, yeah. They don’t like most of the sprayed art here and cover it up quickly lately. At least it looks like that. Abandoned alleyways are really not my favorite point to hang out, so I guess I won’t see one of your masterpieces soon.
Tumblr media
I did do some during my.. eh, month? Maybe? In the city but I’m almost certain they got covered up by now. It was years and years ago. If you look in more abandoned alleyways you might be able to find some of my older work- they’re all signed. I didn’t have a camera, or a good-quality phone.
Some people only have time to write their name.

I am not a big fan of traveling at the moment, but I hope I will be able to visit cities like Paris one day. I see so many awesome photos and want to see it for myself. I wish I could see the stars sometimes. That must be awesome. And woah...did you know you were adopted before that? My mum told me when the doctors told her that she was dying. Otherwise she probably would have never told me.
Tumblr media
Exactly. Like I said… everyone should visit at least once. LA too. And London. It’s something for tourists. As a resident, it’s not quite as fun. Well, yeah. Obviously. But the sky’s not all that interesting sometimes. Oh, just… overheard my adoptive parents… talking about him.

I think it is good for business people, yeah. And no place is like New York, I guess. But hey, you have museums and such. At least something. And I am sure you can see the sky no matter where you are? How did you find out that you have a twin? If that isn’t too personal to ask.
Tumblr media
Precisely. Tourist central, and it’s good for business people too, right? There’s not a whole lot to do where I’m from. Few museums and galleries… Lots of art stuff. There’s a zoo? I don’t know. It’s nothing like New York. Yeah, kinda… It’s sort of… I watch them as a bit of a “the life I might’ve led” kind of thing. I’m sure you will… I’m hoping the same, so…

Did you do some of your street art here in NYC? And do you have photos of them? I am curious.
And I know why you tag walls and such, I still just think you could be more creative with it than just writing your name.
Tumblr media
In bigger cities like that, though, you have to remember that tagging is popular in gang communities. If a gang tags a wall with their name, other gangs know that that is their territory- they’ve claimed it. Single-color tags are usually done in a rush, where they don’t want to get caught.
Street art is exactly that- an art. Whether it be a tag or a piece, it’s all art. I’ve seen and done it it a lot of places- a perk of traveling, I suppose.

The tags you see here in New York mostly aren’t really creative. It is really just a name, sprayed without thinking about it much on a wall. I don’t like them. If they are colorful or whatever I can see some kind of art in it. But just black paint, sprayed on a wall to form a word. No, I don’t think that should be appreciated.
That sounds way cooler than just your name on a wall, seriously.
Tumblr media
Tags are only boring when people don’t appreciate it in the way it deserves to be appreciated. It shows that one person has gone to many places and is leaving their own personal mark. Everyone has different tagging styles and words to write, so everything is unique.
I tend to create whatever comes to mind that day. Be it a protest piece, my go-to cartoon-ish pieces, or anything else. I like variety.

I got one match and it wasn’t my brother, so sometimes you have to be a little more patient. I hope that you find your sister, soon.
Tumblr media
Ah, I suppose I’ll have to be patient. I’ve been meaning to get some… patience. It is not currently in my talents but just you wait. In no time I’ll be the queen of patience!

You probably wouldn’t care, so I don’t think you need to ask. What do you like to spray? Tags are...really just boring. I don’t get why people need to spray that. I would just leave it blank until I have time to do something nice.
Tumblr media
Do I even want to ask what it is you’re studying? Because I have a feeling that if I ask I’ll get bored really quick and then I’ll regret asking and stop listening. Tags are only when I don’t have enough time to do a full piece.
