I’ve gotten way too attached to the idea of Eddie(gay) and Chrissie(aroace) in a queerplatonic relationship, so I’m here to shout about my beloved headcanon to the void: if it weren’t for Vecna, Eddie Munson and Chrissy Cunningham would have been best friends, she would have left Jason and been Eddie’s beard instead, and he’d have helped her escape her mother, and they would have been Adorable. I have a confession that is more about popular fan characterization of the Steddie ship in some nsfw fics. I cannot see either of these guys being very dominant people. I know Steve bit the head off a bat, and Eddie has the hanky code thing, and there was the boathouse scene, but even if either one could potentially top as a position, I just can't think of either of them having a naturally dominant personality. I think either one could be a service top or maybe a bossy bottom?? But anything that makes their behavior seem "authoritative" feels either unconvincing or uncomfortably ooc, to me personally.

I wrote a Stranger Things fanfiction once where Will was gay for Mike but he also liked this random character I created just for the story. It ended badly. (The OC died in a car crash after getting into a relationship with Will and Mike was straight and then he realized he was bi and then he got hit by a bus.) I deleted it after I realized how bad it was.

I think steddie is a really good direction to take specifically Steve's character, because the farther he falls away from the constraints of normal culture, the more happy he seems with himself. that said, I think people leap in too quickly... Steve and Eddie barely know each other yet. their relationship needs more time in the oven before they're ready to be something narratively sensible. or they would if Eddie wasn't dead gdi. wish they would've brought him into the show earlier.

M*leven and J*ncy are the most boring ships in the series. Every time I rewatch past seasons, I always skip their scenes.

I don’t think that at the end of the series M*leven or B*ler should be endgame at all. I would much rather watch them further develop El and Will’s sibling relationship than them fighting over Mike in S5. Also, I don’t think that Will or El would deliberately do anything to hurt one another (ie: Will dating Mike even if El breaks up with him, or if El realizes that Will likes Mike and “claims Mike” as her own). I just don’t see it in their personalities  to ever be vile to one another.
