Two things can both be true: 1. Ethel Cain is the target of a smear campaign. Which is wrong. 2. People are allowed to be mad and even dislike her over things she's done in the past. You can condemn harassment without defending her actions or telling others how to feel.

I love Hayden for acknowledging the important screenshots and apologizing, and then calling the rest of the allegations what they are, STUPID. All of you mfers who genuinely drank the fucking TERF Kool-Aid are dumb as fuck and I hate you. How can you see blatantly transphobic accounts calling a trans woman a predator and a fetishist and a pedophile or whatever and doing so while misgendering her, AND BELIEVE IT. Open your fucking eyes. This isn't the first time this has happened to a trans woman, and it won't be the last. I'm so sad that she felt the need to expose her own private trauma and life experiences because you dumbasses genuinely believed that she writes about taboo topics in her music because of a "FETISH". Sit and think about how you joined a hate campaign against a trans woman. Grow up.

no actually i don't think antivaxxers' kids should die from a disease. i don't think gun advocates' kids should die in school shooting. children dying is bad actually, even if they're children of people you don't like.

And what if I said that compiling evidence of racism, holding onto it for years until the moment was right to lump it in with pearl-clutching over sexual taboos so you can use it as ammunition in a petty fandom war is also a racist thing to do?

hot take possibly? but i actually think it’s okay for things to be marketed for adults. it’s literally okay if things aren’t suitable for children. i feel like we are losing the plot
