ðâš Darakaraka Secrets: What Kind of Marriage Will You Have? ðð
Note: These are all my personal observations and patterns I've noticed over the years. Take what resonates with you more and leave the rest. Lemme know in the comments if it hits home!
Please read this: North Node involving with DK in the same house can point to marrying someone who is of a different cultural background, same-sex relations, 2nd marriage situations, marrying a widow/ divorcee, marrying with children, short-lived marriage, different religion, different social status, elopement marriage, against family wishes or just half-heartedly approve of, etc. These are all possibilities of Rahu being involved in the same house and any of the possibilities listed here might apply to some degree.
DK planet in 1st house - Spouse is likely from your own cultural background/faith unless Rahu (North Node) is involved in 1st house. If Rahu is there, it can sometimes point to an unconventional marriage, like 2nd marriage situations, different religion, marrying a divorcee, same-sex relations, etc. You choose your partner and won't listen to family members' wishes unless Saturn is in the same house or as DK planet. If Jupiter or the 9th house lord is involved, your family might choose or introduce your spouse to you, but you have the final say. If Mars is involved, it can indicate a quick marriage, and your family might or might not accept your spouse.
DK planet in 2nd house - A "family approved" or "semi-arranged marriage" where your partner fits well with your background and financial goals. If Rahu is present, it might mean your spouse comes from a different community, financial situation, or social circle, adding some excitement and variety. Mars here can bring a bit of spark or occasional disagreements around family or money, while Saturn may delay marriage but helps build a stable, long-lasting relationship and the Sun points to a status-driven marriage.
DK planet in 3rd house - You and your spouse may be like teammates, supporting each otherâs goals and challenges. If Rahu is here, the marriage could be with someone unconventional or from a different cultural background. Mars adds energy and passion but can also bring occasional disagreements, while Saturn encourages patience and building a strong foundation together but can be restrictive at times if in earth signs. After marriage, you may distance yourself from your interests, hobbies or family either by choice or because of spouse. They might live in the same hometown as you. Overall, itâs a marriage built on active connection and shared experiences, not just tradition.
DK planet in 4th house - Youâre likely to marry someone who brings joy, beauty, and harmony to your domestic life, think of a partner who values family and nurturing. If Venus influences this placement, expect a romantic and affectionate relationship filled with mutual care and both spending a lot together. With Sun involved, the spouse may be confident, protective, and proud, often taking a leadership role in the home, dom at times and occasionally wants things their way. Mars can add passion but also some occasional fiery arguments and one of you won't get along well with the others' family, while Saturn brings stability and commitment that deepens with time but also distant in family matters at times. Overall, itâs a marriage built on love, security, and shared happiness.
DK planet in 5th house - Youâre likely to marry someone you genuinely enjoy being with, someone who feels like a best friend or creative partner. If Venus is involved, the relationship is charming, romantic, and full of sweet gestures. Sun can make the spouse proud and expressive, possibly someone in a respected or creative field. Mars adds passion and excitement but might also bring drama or quick tempers. Saturn tones things down, bringing seriousness and long-term loyalty, though it may delay marriage slightly and childbirth can be delayed as well. Overall, this is a vibrant, heartfelt, and emotionally rich marriage. Can point to a big fat Greek wedding kind of marriage.
DK planet in 6th house - A spouse who is hardworking, service-oriented, or someone you meet through your daily routine or work life. The marriage might not feel dreamy at first and it often takes effort, compromise, and maturity to make it thrive. If Venus is here, thereâs potential for love and affection, but it may need more nurturing. Sun can bring a proud or authoritative spouse, possibly career-driven, in some cases, can indicate a spouse who micromanages everything. Mars may cause conflicts or power struggles if ego isnât kept in check, while Saturn indicates a marriage that can be restrictive or loss of freedom in some way. Overall, itâs a realistic, grounded type of marriage that's less about fairytales, more about building something solid through shared effort. This can point to a marriage in the city, crowded areas, etc.
DK planet in 7th house - You tend to attract a spouse who balances or complements you in some way. If Venus is involved, the marriage is loving, romantic, and emotionally fulfilling. With the Sun, the partner may be confident, dominant, or admired socially and also the one who rules the roost. Mars adds attraction and passion, but can also bring occasional friction or power dynamics. Saturn may delay marriage or create a serious tone in the relationship, but it also promises loyalty and commitment over time. Overall, this placement supports a classic partnership that's public, impactful, and often karmically significant. Your family members usually approve of this relationship. This can point to a court-house wedding or wedding done in front of a government offical or in a church if you're religious.
DK planet in 8th house - A spouse who may trigger deep emotional or psychological changes in you, think soul-level growth, not surface-level romance. The relationship may involve secrets, trust-building, or unexpected life shifts after marriage. If Venus is here, thereâs emotional depth and sensuality, but the bond may go through highs and lows. Marital status would be secret or private. With Sun, the partner may be powerful or intense, sometimes dominating the relationship dynamic. Mars can bring passion but also volatility or control issues if not handled maturely. Saturn adds a heavy, serious tone, marriage may feel like a responsibility or come after hardship, but it can be deeply loyal and long-lasting. Both Mars and Saturn in RARE cases, point to the death of a spouse. Overall, itâs a life-altering kind of marriage, meant to shake you and shape you.
DK planet in 9th house - You may marry someone from a different background, country, or belief system or someone who expands your worldview. This placement leans toward intercultural, interfaith, or destination-style or elopement marriages, especially if thereâs travel or education involved. If Venus is here, the marriage is affectionate and idealistic, often built on shared values or philosophies. Sun brings a spouse whoâs respected, possibly a guide or mentor-type figure. Mars adds boldness; your spouse could be driven or adventurous, but debates over beliefs are possible. With Saturn, marriage might be more traditional, delayed, or with someone older or wise beyond their years. Overall, itâs a meaningful, growth-oriented union, often influenced by fate, travel, or purpose.
DK planet in 10th house - A partner who is goal-oriented, practical, and socially visible, someone who influences your image or helps elevate your professional standing. If Venus is here, the relationship blends love with shared ambitions or creative work but also status driven marriage or marrying for/into money. Sun brings a confident, possibly high-profile spouse who wants respect and recognition. Might expect you to treat them like a king/queen. Mars adds drive and motivation, but can also bring clashes over control or career priorities and can be a brat or childish at times. Saturn brings stability and marriage is a milestone but also staying for "reasons". Jupiter here brings luck and change of status after marriage. Overall, this points to a partnership built on mutual achievement, where love and ambition go hand in hand. This might point to a big wedding where the couple or their family throw a lot of money to show off.
DK planet in 11th house - The spouse might feel like your best friend first, or someone you meet through community events, online platforms, or mutual friends. It also points to a desire-based or wish-fulfillment marriage, the kind of relationship youâve always hoped for or dreamed of. If Venus is here, itâs a sweet, affectionate bond with a lot of fun and emotional connection. Sun brings a charismatic spouse with strong leadership vibes. Mars adds passion and energy, though occasional ego clashes over independence might happen. Saturn may delay marriage but ensures long-term support and loyalty. With Jupiter, the spouse is wise, optimistic, and growth-oriented, possibly someone from a well-connected or respected background and of higher status. Overall, this is a hopeful, fulfilling, and future-forward type of marriage, where partnership feels like a team built on dreams and shared visions. It can point to a destination wedding or an intimate wedding.
DK Planet in 12th House - The spouse is often someone private, emotionally deep, or from a different culture or country. Marriage tends to be unconventional, often secretive, long-distance, or even an elopement against family wishes. These unions may involve strong karmic bonds and spiritual growth, with relationships developing quietly behind the scenes. Sometimes, marriage happens in foreign lands or through hidden circumstances, and there can be challenges related to acceptance or social norms. Overall, itâs a marriage focused on emotional depth, privacy, and crossing traditional boundaries. With Rahu involved, elopement is highly likely with an unconventional spouse. With Mars, you might marry someone even against your own wishes (seen in some, not a fact). With Sun involved, a foreigner or different cultural background is likely, and spouse might be known for something in them.

Venus And Consumerism
Itâs not new to us that whatever feels pleasing is Venus, consumerism comes under this as well, the only thing which makes it wrong is the exploitation it produces when it is done with ignorance, a person with the strong Venus transcends consumerism, for him money isnât meant to exploit him but the more he indulges in it the more he transcends. Jyeshtha nakshatra which is the representation of ALAKSHMI is hollow inside, like a black hole, wants to suck money in. Wants the money, filling its void, though it attracts money it exploits it resulting in extreme materialistic toxic patterns in life. Rohini on the other side is filled with prosperity, abundance, She is the real wealth, the jewel, filled with abundance, they already have what jyeshtha craves. Everything they do screams rich, wealth. Wealth needs them as a medium to represent itself and therefore they transcend it. Many spiritual leaders like Osho, Sadhguru are way too wealthy but they have transcended it so for them it means nothing, but jyeshtha craves it often symbolising materialistic tendencies, discernment between rich and poor, ultimately they aspire to become Rohini, to devour and consume her, to become her. Many Rohini jyeshtha films like Mr talented ripley, Jenniferâs body, Breathe represent this perfectly.

Jupiter Transits Through the Houses
Jupiter expands and blesses the house it transits through. Be cautious of overindulgence in these areas though, since too much of a good thing can have negative consequences as well. As always, these observations are very general and for greater accuracy in interpretation, the full birth chart must be involved.
ð©·Jupiter transiting the 1st house: Life just seems to flow smoothly and work out for you with little hassle. You might feel as if the universe is truly on your side during this time with blessings appearing as if from nowhere. People notice an aura of positivity and abundance surrounding you. You might even appear glowing physically. There's a strong drive and desire to live large and abundantly. You might experience many moments of feeling vibrationally high. I interpret this time as one where you fully blossom and grow into your individuality.
ð©·Jupiter transiting the 2nd house: The most obvious interpretation of this transit is receiving a lot of luck with money. You can earn a lot more money as well as making more money than you ever have before. This can also be a time where you develop a stronger sense of self-worth and security. You can feel very comfortable in life. Also, with an increase in money can also come an increase in spending. Be careful not too spend too recklessly during this transit, especially on material comforts.
ð©·Jupiter transiting the 3rd house: If you have siblings, this can be a time where you notice your siblings receiving a lot of blessings. This is also a great time to embrace learning new skills and trying new things. Speaking, writing, and communication specifically will be great skills to expand on and you can receive a lot of opportunities in these areas. You can feel especially positive while going on short trips and spending time in your community. A stronger desire to socialize and connect with people.
ð©·Jupiter transiting the 4th house: Moving, expanding, and positivity within your home and family life is all prevalent here. A stronger desire to go inward and spend more time at home as well. You could receive blessings and opportunities from your family. You might just feel a stronger desire to renovate or redecorate your home. I've noticed that this is a time where perhaps your external world quiets down a bit, and a lot of your positivity comes from your inner world. You can discover a lot about yourself and what provides you true comfort and peace.
ð©·Jupiter transiting the 5th house: This is a fantastic time for romance, love, and dating. Time and time again I've noticed so many people in my life benefit positively in their love life during this transit. A huge boost in creativity as well. There's a lot of joy and happiness during this period overall. You feel a boost in confidence and ability to take on new and exciting opportunities. There's also an emphasis on children during this transit. Perhaps you can have children or children can play a significant and positive role in your life. If you're interested in trying new hobbies, this is a great time to do it.
ð©·Jupiter transiting the 6th house: Daily life and health become abundant in this period. You can have positive daily habits and a routine that is beneficial for your overall health and wellbeing. You can also start a new job that you enjoy. Perhaps you get along nicely with your coworkers, the pay is great, the working conditions are positive, etc. There's a strong possibility that you just feel less daily stress than usual during this time. Getting a new pet is also likely.
ð©·Jupiter transiting the 7th house: Similar to the 5th house transit, this is a great time for love and romance, although this house is more symbolic of committed love and long term partnerships. This is a very common marriage transit. This is also a great time to start a new business venture or partnership if it's something you're interested in, as it's likely to be received well during this time. Other people become significant in some way. Life in general felt very busy, active, and social in my experience. Meeting new and important people in my life as well. ð©·Jupiter transiting the 8th house: A very transformative period. There's an increase in desire for deep growth and personal development. This is a transit where you end it as a brand new person. I have an 8th house stellium, so it's likely this transit affected me greater for this reason. If you're someone who shies away from the darker aspects of life or your shadow self, this is likely to be a rough period for you. Although, it's a blessing in disguise when you realize how important it was to allow yourself to go deep and shed away all that was holding you back from stepping into a better and more powerful version of yourself. It's also common to experience an increase in sexuality during this time. ð©·Jupiter transiting the 9th house: A very busy, busy time. I was moving and traveling constantly the year I experienced this transit. I also started university and began my interest in spirituality. I met many different unique people and expanded my knowledge in many subjects. You may notice yourself tackling life's obstacles with optimism and an open mind. Wherever you travel during this period can be a very spiritual and optimistic experience for you. I visited a new city during this time that I fell in love with and developed a strong connection to. Pursuing a more spiritual life is very common.
ð©·Jupiter transiting the 10th house: This was an interesting transit for me. I began a job that I absolutely hated before eventually leaving soon after, just for a better opportunity to be waiting for me around the corner. I moved into my first apartment and life became more peaceful and aligned with what I wanted and needed. It made me realize that Jupiter can often bless these different areas of your life by first removing what isn't meant for you and allowing new and greater opportunities to enter your life afterwards. This was a time I really craved and valued freedom and abundance in my career and life overall. ð©·Jupiter transiting the 11th house: Similar to the 10th house transit, I left a lot of toxic people in my life, including a long-term friendship that hadn't been working out for years. I also abandoned previous dreams and developed new ones that felt more fitting to me. My dreams and desires were very strong during this time. This was more of a quiet period in my life where I was really building a vision for what I wanted my life to look and feel like. I experienced a lot of positivity through online communities and groups, specifically when it came to astrology and spirituality. Meeting new people, joining new social groups, and focusing on long-term goals are all likely to occur during this transit. ð©·Jupiter transiting the 12th house: Such an incredible and unique time. My dreams became very rich, vivid, and intuitive. I was quite isolated during this time, but the isolation was something I needed. My inner world became very abundant and dreamlike. Life just felt like a dream this entire time. Pay attention to your intuition and your subconscious strongly during this time, because it can reveal a lot. I began therapy as well and began to notice very positive changes in my life the more I took care of my mental health. I spent a lot of time working on myself and clearing out mental garbage, which I noticed benefiting me positively by the time my 1st house Jupiter transit started.

astro observations â quick thoughts on patterns i keep seeing lately
â libra + gemini mix (especially in sun, moon, rising, or venus) = charming golden retriever energy. theyâre like social glue. they want everyone to be okay. sometimes theyâll pretend to be okay just to keep the energy up.
â people with heavy water or 4th / 8th / 12th house energy absorb pain like a sponge. they donât just âmove on.â they process everything spiritually, emotionally, mentally and it sticks for a while. . .possibly forever.
â strong cancer placements (moon, 4th house, mars) often mean wounds from missing father figures. this shows up as attracting people you feel you have to care for or âmotherâ - even pets.
â fixed signs (taurus, leo, scorpio, aquarius) resist change once their emotional stability is shaken. theyâre slow to forgive or forget when trust breaks.
â taurus mercuries donât need to push you; they create space for you to admit things yourself. theyâre patient listeners who let your walls crumble on their own. they are more curious than they are judgemental.
â aries moons were never really allowed to be children. they were taught to survive and bury what they feel. thatâs why they get so fiery when theyâre finally vulnerable bc they donât know how else to show it
â aquarius venus can love you deeply and still make you feel like a stranger.
â virgo placements (rising, moon, sidereal) have quiet psychic abilities. theyâre natural healers grounded in earthy wisdom, able to sense what others miss in the gray area.

Moon Dominance & Manipulation
TW: violence, abuse, narcissistic abuse, manipulation, rape, murder
hi besties ðð€ªi said i would make a post on moon-dominant men and now its 6 months later lol ð€¡so here it is!! <3 This post focuses on Moon dominant men AND women and how differently it manifests.
The influence of the Moon is one which has to be handled with great care. In Vedic astrology, the Moon is considered to be the lord of the mind and it is believed that the Moon has a direct impact on an individual's thoughts, perceptions, and overall mental clarity.
While Mercury governs over our intelligence and communicative ability, Moon governs over our thoughts directly. Mercury is the son of Moon in vedic mythology. These two planets are very closely linked and that contributes to the manipulative nature of these natives.
Manipulation is in itself not a bad thing, its a tool like any other, (ex: charisma is also skilful manipulation) however certain individuals yield it in ways that can be harmful, misleading and dangerous.
The Moon ruled naks are, Rohini, Hasta & Shravana belonging to Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn rashis respectively. They lie entirely within these rashis as well.
Its well worth noting that tropically, Rohini would correspond to Gemini, Hasta to Libra and Shravana to Aquarius.
While Mercurial naks are tropical fire signs that fall into watery rashis in Vedic astrology, Moon naks are tropical air signs that fall into earth rashis.
A simplistic way to describe the Air element is to say its related to data & information, however its more specifically about the channels through which that information is presented, its about how the unconscious or unspoken is presented. Its the bridge between thoughts and written/spoken word.
The Earth element, on the other hand is one which is concerned with maintenance and stability; its about making the unconscious "visible", its the physical manifestation of the unseen. It is the ideal trying to express themselves in the physical realm.
Both these elements are concerned with transformation in a specific form, from one state to another, from the darkness of possibilities into concrete reality. While Air is more about the journey or the way its presented, Earth is firmly grounded in the culmination itself.
Air signs are quite notorious for being manipulative.
being two faced is literally Moon dominant nature. Moon goes through many phases, it literally does not have a stable image. Its waning moon one day, crescent moon another, full moon on another. This quality is unique to the Moon and is experienced by no other planet, they're ever-changing and this is probably why Moon dominant people and women in general (since the Moon is Yin) are described as being moody.
I've often found myself wondering why the Moon dominant people I know irl often saw the worst in others, or always doubted the motives/intentions of people. Like, they have no chill, they're always suspicious of the "true intentions" behind people's actions and they really have a tendency to interpret things in THE WORST way possible. You can tell a Moon-dominant person that a stranger bought you a bouquet of flowers and they will say "I bet they do that to lure girls into some shady stuff" which sounds plausible enough but you don't have to jump to conclusions with everything or assume the worst, sometimes a bouquet is just a bouquet. But they're such contrarians that if you tell them that you think a stranger was being creepy and tried to gift you a bouquet of flowers, they'll say "relax you're overthinking maybe they're just being nice?" they will always have the opposite view as you no matter what because thats the nature of the Moon.
This lack of stable identity is very interesting because you can ask the Moon native the same question every other week and they will give very different answers.
But their tendency to view human behaviour in negative light or put others down to regain control over situations always irked me. And then I realized that its because we see our own reflection in others, if you're innocent and good-natured, thats how you assume other people are, you dont second guess their actions or dig into their true hidden motives because you dont have an agenda and you assume others wont either. But Moon natives always have an agenda of their own and they believe others are also like them and that scares the shit out of them.
They assume the worst because their own shadow is reflected in others, they know they're capable of being malicious, two-faced, backstabby, bitchy, and pathologically lying to get away with things and thus its so hard for them to see goodness in anybody because they think others are also like that. Their nature makes it difficult for them to trust others. Don't even get me started on Moon dominant people and the manipulation tactics they employ to regain control over situations. These people hate to seem "less than" or like their judgement is inferior and they hate being wrong. You can tell them something like "You were a bit rude to Lana at the party last night" and they'll just say something like "I know Lana does you favours but you don't have to be her spokesperson, your people-pleasing is getting worse", I know these are way too specific but I am trying to show how Moon dominant people have a tendency to turn your criticism of them around and make it your fault so that now you feel like a dumb bitch for saying anything and you're wondering damn maybe I'm only speaking up for Lana cause I'm a people pleaser, they make you question your own stand/motives. They simply cannot accept the fact that they're wrong.
Its useless trying to have a conversation with a Moon dominant person or trying to call them out on their bullshit because they're incapable of seeing their flaws, they might apologize just to be diplomatic but they don't actually feel remorse because they genuinely are not able to see their actions as being wrong or hurtful.
youtube
Priyanka Chopra, Rohini Moon
Some context: Priyanka like most major Indian celebrities is very supportive of the right-wing government in power right now and often posts in support of different government initiatives, this is especially in poor taste when you work in a multicultural set-up like Hollywood where most people are very liberal-leaning.
I won't comment on Priyanka's politics bc that's not the focus of this post but the woman raised a reasonable question and Priyanka clearly could not defend herself or come up with a good response so she patronisingly said "Girl don't yell, don't embarrass yourself" to a grown woman who barely raised her voice. It's the cockiness and condescension in her tone that's so icky. She could have handled that situation so differently but she had to show who's boss and who has power, so she makes the other person seem like the crazy angry "girl" who's just spewing nonsense. Ayesha Malik, the woman in question said that Priyanka made her look like "the bad guy" for asking that question.
Meghan Markle, Hasta Stellium (Moon, Jupiter, Saturn)
youtube
There are a million videos out there analysing Meghan's behaviour, her lies, her passive aggression, her manipulative tendencies etc Meghan has been studied by thousands of experts who have labelled her as a narcissist, a pathological liar and a manipulator. I think Meghan's Moon qualities have been made worse by her Ashlesha Sun, as Ashlesha is another nakshatra that makes a person extremely manipulative and toxic (if imbalanced).
But honestly studying Meghan is such a great lesson in understanding the nature of Moon dominant people and their narcissistic manipulation (it can be very triggering so viewer discretion is advised!!). Meghan is one of the few people who have been so thoroughly exposed and micro-analysed. I don't condone the hate she gets but I have no reason to sympathise with her at all. She claims to hate the royals but still rides their coattails and uses her title as "Duchess of Sussex" just about everywhere because she knows it's the only thing that makes her relevant. She wants all of the privileges and none of the responsibilities. Sometimes the reason why people don't like you, and can't seem to get along with you is not because you're a person of color or a woman or both, sometimes it's because you're an asshole.
The video I've linked above is over 1 hour long but it's chilling to see how meticulously Meghan has crafted her whole persona , timed things and toyed with the media, she never expected for people to see through her façade.
Radwa El Sherbiny, Hasta Sun & Saturn
instagram
She's an Egyptian TV host who often gives her viewers advise and everytime I come across IG reels of her, I can't help but wonder how competitive/manipulative a lot of it is. I looked at her chart and ofc, she's Moon dominant. Don't get me wrong, some of it is good advice, like you shouldn't chase anyone who acts uninterested in you but that is not how she phrases it, she says, "mirror their energy, you give me attention, then i'll give you attention...." so on & so forth. Its less about knowing your worth and picking a worthy person to invest your energy in and more about playing mind games with someone so that you can retain their interest in you/the relationship which is ?? fucked up?? ngl. She has a huge female fan following that's like ðïžððïžso sh00k by what she says as though she's providing some kind of radical advice when it's just manipulating someone's feelings lol
moon dominant people when you tell them a relationship isn't a set of mind games: ð®ð²ðµðð€ð¡ð€¬
Here's an article that features Radwa's breakup advice and again, I admit that much of this is good solid advice but again if you read in between the lines, its not so much focused on your healing and your peace but about not letting him see you be miserable, or give him a sense of having the upper hand or let him "win" the breakup. To be so dignified and so withdrawn that he's left feeling cold. One of the first lines in the post is about how if your ex calls you back when you call him etc etc its out of "pity" and not love, this is a sentiment that I've heard many Moon dominant women express in many different contexts and I've always been perplexed by it. I had a friend tell me that if I left my toxic workplace, my colleagues/employers will pity me, they'll think they've "won" which was so ??? like am i supposed to "fight" day in and day out to prove some psychological point and put up with that stuff so they know I'm not someone to be pitied lol??? I stayed for a bit longer because my contract was being renegotiated so I didn't have to spend much longer with them anyway but I always felt like it was some shit ass advice.
If a situation does not serve you, I think its best to remove yourself from it instead of entangling yourself in a complex web of mind games and power moves, sincerely just preserve your energy lol but the inner abundance of Moon dominant or just Yin energy is so tiring for anyone who does not have those placements. how on earth do ya'll just function every day like its MK Ultra program where its a survival of the fittest. The thing is the whole thing is entirely psychological, no one is going to pay that much mind, or "pity" you or "look down on you" or anything because no one cares yet I suppose some people need to behave a certain way to feel satisfied that they're mentally "unconquered". Their egos are so fragile its not even funny and thats why its so scary to bruise their ego or cross them in some way because they will make it their mission to drag you down one way or another. They have to compensate for this bruised ego by one-upping you and believe me, they will find a way.
It's this tit-for-tat, eye for an eye, attack and counterattack nature of Moon-dominant people that I find extremely immature, naïve, misguided and yes, abusive and dangerous as well.
Radwa's show has received a lot of flak on many grounds. She hosts something called "Golden Competition for Losing Weight" in which the woman, who loses the largest amount of kilograms, is rewarded with one gold pound for each kilogram she lost. There is good advice underneath layers and layers of toxic femininity and then there is outright problematic behaviour. Radwa has always denied doing anything wrong or problematic as well in typical Moon dominant fashion where they never see anything wrong with their behaviour and don't feel guilt or remorse.
Dita Von Teese, Hasta Sun & Mercury with Venus in Ashlesha atmakaraka has given similar advice. At 1:32 she talks about the importance of exiting a relationship with dignity and I think this video is a good example of the positive way in which Yin qualities can be expressed. She emphasizes a lot, in this video but also just in general, the need to "do things for yourself" and the art of carefully crafting your appearance etc she in fact wrote a whole book about styling, grooming, self-maintenance etc, in it she speaks about "creating your own persona" and by extension of that designing your life. I've noticed this trait time and again with Moon dominant women, including Meghan who meticulously researched and emulated Princess Diana. They love to appear "proper" and they take extreme care to seem put together. They're never shabby or dishevelled (if they are, its probably deliberate lol). They may sexualise themselves because its lucrative to do so (like Dita who is a burlesque dancer) but irl they tend to present themselves as modest and kind of conservative because they know that otherwise people may exploit or take advantage of them.
Alia Bhatt, Shravana Rising
Alia gets a lot of hate in general for being a nepo baby but also for her lack of humility and grace in general and her superiority complex. Bollywood is a dynastic industry run by film families, Alia is cast in the majority of big projects produced by one of the biggest film studios in India because it's run by Karan Johar who is her godfather. Alia is not a bad actor but the reason why she's established a kind of monopoly for herself leaving no room for anybody else is because she's extremely privileged and well-connected. It's very well known that she often gets other people taken out of projects when she wants the role for herself (Dear Zindagi was originally meant for Katrina Kaif who was her best friend, would you plot against your bestie for a film role? Isn't it better to think that there's plenty of fish in the sea, and esp with your connections you can and will find other films to do? Her character in her Hollywood debut was also meant for another Indian actor who was removed once Alia started lobbying for the role).
Bollywood actors PR works overtime and Alia's PR is known for being particularly nasty. This is a random bit from an article that hails Alia as the biggest actor in India (she isn't lol)
It completely discredits her contemporary Deepika Padukone's recent success and adding insult to injury mentions her controversy (Deepika received death threats for it, its appalling for someone to use something like that to get back at someone?? disgusting)
The article takes a dig at Kiara Advani another one of Alia's contemporaries and someone who's not remotely as successful as her. Its just plain nasty to take away whatever little success another person has enjoyed?? Lol
I know these are PR articles and not words out of Alia's mouth but they reflect who she is as a person. ALL celebs plant articles in the media and 90% of the time, they're innocuous and meant to highlight their successes not portray them as being better than others (there are numerous exceptions and ofc Alia isn't the only one who has adopted this strategy) simply because that's not a good look? or if they do so, they're more subtle about it, not as openly bitchy lmao.
Alia & her husband's relationship has received a lot of flak for being "toxic". Especially following lipstickgate where she casually remarked that her husband makes her wipe off her lipstick cause he likes her natural lip color ðand she has a habit of consistently revealing problematic things about her husband and making herself sound like a saint. I can't comment on their marriage but there are many who share the opinion that she deliberately tries to make Ranbir sound like a shitty husband so that she will gain media sympathy for being a self-sacrificing and innocent woman who gave it all up for love or idk what as opposed to being seen as a gold digger who married above her league (I know there's a lot of misogyny in all of this :/)
youtube
I find Alia problematic on other grounds like when she dated and married her best friend's ex-boyfriend or pretends to advocate for animal rights and is now producing a film about poaching whilst wearing leather and working with Gucci (they sell leather bags) and just her general hypocritical behaviour is :/
Janhvi Kapoor, Shravana Moon
youtube
At 2:23 she slaps her co-star playfully as he's saying something. If you watch any interview of hers, she's always saying or doing questionable things which she gets away with because she's a nepo baby. She's often rude and condescending, for example this video where she started eating ice cream in the middle of a professional interview, answering questions like she does not give a shit?? and acting like she's doing everybody else a favour by doing the interview. She always plays off her off-putting behaviour by blaming it on her silly quirky personality.
Shahrukh Khan, Shravana Moon
youtube
You can watch the whole interview and get a good grasp of how Moon-dominant men think lol but the bit between 20:00 and 24:30 where he talks about how his female co-stars work much harder than him but don't get any credit and are labelled "Shahrukh's heroines" instead of being acknowledged for their merit and he says what he loves is that even though its very unfair the women he knows "do not act like victims" like ???? what, he could've said its because of the patriarchy or whatever but instead he said "yeah i get all the credit not them but :') they don't act like :') victims they're so strong" lol. he manipulated that point to make it seem like he's giving women all the credit for being tough when the real problem is something else. SRK is probably the most manipulative of actors out there, when he was asked why he works with women who are half his age, he'd say "because otherwise they'll be unemployed" as if he's running some charity for young actresses lmao he only changed his contract refusing to work with actresses under 35 or something (he's 58) around the time his own daughter made her debut (she's 23) (would be a bad look to work with someone his daughter's age but also bad for business since movies with him are bound to do better and he wouldn't want to work with his daughter's competition)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
one time a friend of mine said something self depreciating and my Moon dominant friend chastised her for speaking that way because others will "look down on her" and I thought that was interesting, sure there can be multiple motivations for not indulging in self depreciating talk , a major one being that you're reinforcing negative beliefs you have about yourself (as thoughts create reality) but it's more important to a Moon dominant person to be concerned with "how others perceive you". They do not like appearing weak or being vulnerable. They're narcissists.
But on a different note, I have noticed that a lot of celebrities who play sociopaths or are sociopaths have heavy Moon placements (sometimes I wonder whether the reason Claire hasn't made a Moon dominant men video yet after all these years is because it'll just be a video of murderers, cannibals, abusers, sociopaths and other terrible people lmao)
Christian Bale, Shravana Sun
youtube
Moon dominant men are cruel af and have zero remorse. They love to study people and use their vulnerabilities against them. They love to act like innocent hapless folk but they are capable of so much cruelty and violence.
Armie Hammer, Rohini Moon
Arnie Hammer, bit chunks of flesh out of a woman, carved his initials into a woman, raped two women, asked one woman to have her rib surgerically removed so he could eat it. If you're so inclined, have a look at his leaked chats (he's describing the most graphic, violent, disgusting things). I don't want to say anymore because it makes me sick of even thinking it and the fact that he has 2 kids???? god protect those children.
Ezra Miller, Hasta Sun
He played a psychopathic child in the movie We Need To Talk About Kevin (i read the book it was adapted from and its truly so frightening and also describes the darkest manifestation of Moon dominant men chillingly well)
Even in real life, Ezra is a very violent person, there is video footage of him choking a woman who said he can't smoke in her bar. He's been arrested for so many different things, including assaults, drug possession, grooming, battery god knows what else. He once said:
âI donât identify as a man, I donât identify as a woman. I barely identify as a human.â
Honestly I believe him lol
Just a disclaimer, I am not saying every moon dominant man is going to be a violent psychopath, most of them aren't. Its just one of the worst manifestations of their Moon dominance.
On March 28 2022, Miller was arrested in Hilo following what police said was a physical altercation with patrons after having hurled obscenities at customers at a karaoke bar and was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment. Miller later claimed that they became enraged after being "accosted by a Nazi", but Hawaii Police Assistant Chief Kenneth Quiocho stated that Miller's outrage was caused by patrons of the bar singing Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's song "Shallow." Miller claimed to have filmed the incident so the footage could later be used as "NFT cryptoart." During their arrest, Miller said that they were being "unlawfully persecuted" and, after members of the police misgendered them, accused the officers of intentionally committing a hate crime. (this is an excerpt from his wikipedia page)
Look at the way he turns things around and pins the blame on others instead of himself. Ezra was in a relationship with a 12 year old when he was a 23 year old man, I won't go into the details here because its so disturbing but its clear that its a case of grooming, manipulation and sociopathic abuse.
He has done soooo many shady things that its impossible for me to list them all here. If you go thru his wiki you will see enough including his claims of being a messiah and of running a cult ._.
Charles Manson, Shravana Moon conjunct Rahu
Murderer, criminal and cult leader Charles Manson was a Moon dominant man. He died in prison in 2017 and was denied parole several years earlier on the grounds that he "had no indication of remorse, no insight into the causative factors of the crimes, lacked understanding of the magnitude of the crimes, had an exceptional, callous disregard for human suffering"
Thats a pretty good description of some Moon dominant people. They don't feel guilty or responsible for how they hurt others. They're very callous and mean-spirited (imbalanced Moon) and absolutely convinced they're right about things that don't even concern them.
This has been a very long post so I'll end it here for now. I know that the things mentioned here are very wildly different from one another. Playing the victim is not the same as being a serial killer cult leader. Yin qualities can be manifested positively but it's very easy for it to be used to hurt others. I find it interesting that the worst things the women on this list have done are be bitchy or snarky and the worst things the men have done is kill people lmao.
I don't mean to say that all Moon dominant people are like this because obviously, they are not. I wanted to shed some light on their dark side because the Moon is a shape shifter with no fixed form, its always a cycle and its the same with Moon dominant people. They're nice but later they're not, they're unpredictable, inconsistent and yes, sometimes they can do terrible things, but I hope you don't walk away from this post thinking Moon= bad but that this is one dimension of being Moon dominant.

Retrograde Planets

A retrograde planet and its effects is an area subject to a diversity of opinions. Those familiar with basic astronomy know that planets only appear to change their forward motion by standing still for a short while (stationary), then moving backward in their orbit relative to an observer on earth (retrograde), and then returning to their forward motion (direct).
Philosophically, many astrologers interpret retrograde motion as causing more of the planetâs effects to manifest. According to the formulas in shadbala (a Vedic planetary strength calculation system), retrograde makes the planet stronger. Note that this does not mean it makes the planet better, nor does it mean the planet is required to be interpreted in a specific way.A planet in retrograde is held by many to exhibit more of what it already has whether positive or negative. Some state that a retrograde planet causes the influence of the planet to reverse. Some indicate that you interpret the retrograde planet as having the influence of the sign ahead, pulling that influence back into the approaching sign.
Ayurvedic physicians report that health problems tend to manifest more during retrograde periods or with people who have strong influences from retrogrades in their charts.I have found that the loitering retrograde motion throws off the energy of a planet and does not allow it to flow in a normal fashion. The house occupied by the retrograde planet is not allowed to function at its best.
There is a principle, given by Maharishi Parasara that supports this somewhat. The sage states that a retrograde planet will reverse the effects of an exalted or debilitated planet.
There is not much written in astrological literature about retrograde planets. As you know, the Sun and Moon are never retrograde. The nodes of the Moon are almost always retrograde, with occasional states of direct motion and infrequent stationary âmotionâ when lingering between forward and reverse. You can see this motion in panchangas (sidereal planetary almanacs or ephemerides), which show true motion of planets.

Mars Retrograde
Keywords Action in Reverse
Mars is normally the planet of fire, warriors, action, and initiative. When retrograde, Mars becomes less inclined to take action the person needs to have a âfireâ lit under them. Sometimes the person will let a situation get critical in order to use that crisis, either consciously or unconsciously, to drive them to act. These people can be very frustrating in that they will often wait until the last minute to do something. The pressure of being forced to act supplements the weakness of retrograde Mars.
When Mars is retrograde by transit, you should consider it an unfavorable time for actions that need the supporting energy of Mars. It would be an inauspicious time for starting new projects, buying or building a house, activities with the siblings, lawsuits, going to war or entering a competition, marriages, business contracts, starting a new business, buying equipment, working with chemicals and fire, undergoing surgeries or dental work, or the like.
Mercury Retrograde
Keywords Thinking in Reverse
These people think in a more intuitive manner and are most likely right brain dominant. Right brain thinking is more spatially oriented, comprehends through recognizing patterns, and arrives at conclusions without seeming to go through the more observable steps of logic and reason. This does not mean they are wrong. In fact, they are often right, and quickly so.
If they are around a lot of analytical people, they have to go back, ârewind,â and figure out for themselves how to state what they thought In terms of numbers and formulas instead of symbols and metaphors. They can drive analytical people crazy because of the seemingly discontinuous manner in which they, the Mercury retrogrades, think. They are not linear.

Jupiter Retrograde
Keywords Expanding in Reverse
Retrograde Jupiter seems to create bargain hunters. They are always looking for a better deal. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, so when it is retrograde, it motivates the person to try to win back what was lost. Getting a good deal, calling for return of loans, redeeming coupons, getting rebates, and the like all indicate the flavor of retrograde Jupiter.
This can be a problem in relationships in that the person is always considering something better, beyond what they have in their current partnership. These persons are often successful in disaster situations They donât pay attention to how it wonât work, they just go ahead. They are also quick to spot an opportunity for profit during times of disaster that others might miss. Conversely, they might smell disaster before others do and get out ahead.
A danger with Jupiter retrograde is a lack of timely response to new opportunities. Laziness or too much optimism can lead these people to miss obvious benefits. Jupiter retrograde becomes interested in projects that have become disregarded or weak. They can still see the value in that event or person, and are willing to take it on for repair and rejuvenation.
Since Jupiter is still naturally inspiring, these retrogrades can feel their self worth expand by helping rejected or abandoned people, projects, and companies become better.

Venus Retrograde
Keywords: Loving in Reverse
Venus retrograde (along with Venus conjunct Rahu or Ketu) can indicate an unusual interest in love. These people donât seem to be stimulated by customary means. Socially, they donât fit into the mainstream. Often people with this position become celibates or the reverse, sexual âcelebrants.â They can swing between opposites averse or perverse.
Idealism about love forms to such a high level of expectation that nobody could meet it. The end result is a feeling of not being loved. Often these people turn to religion, because it seems easier to love God and God does have a lot of love. Sometimes when this Venus is very afflicted, the person could be mistreated in love or have very traumatic experiences with those they love.
Venus retrograde people donât always make the best or happiest marriage partners. Finding a fulfilling, lasting relationship is at least a challenge for them. They can be at odds with the traditional philosophical and social aspects of partnering. Sometimes these people prefer the company of their own sex, either through many friends of the same gender or through intimate same sex relationships.
A transit of retrograde Venus can put oneâs love life into a spin, causing disinterest or increased interest usually the opposite of oneâs normal state.

Saturn Retrograde
Keywords: Stability in Reverse
Saturn is a planet of seclusion and renunciation. Often people with Saturn retrograde become more self isolating, monastic, and even antisocial. They feel like they are alone; no one understands them. Actually afraid of rejection, they act as if they couldnât care less and sometimes reject others first before it can happen to them.
Fatalism and pessimism cloud their life. It seems hard for them to go on during certain periods. They can get withdrawn, grim, even depressed. In their isolation, they can become more nervous and fearful even paranoid or agoraphobic.
One good facet is that Saturn generally lets up as a person matures and gains more life experience. So if these people can hold on in their early years, or in the early stages of any life event, they should be okay. We are intended, in this life, to enjoy or to not mind too much Saturn retrogrades just need to remember that.
Thx for reading
Sending much love and blessings

Shravana: The Free Man
Freedom is a frequently overlooked and deeply misunderstood facet of the Moon. When we first consider the Moon, we are quick to associate it with emotionality, softness, receptivity, and nurturing. It is imagined as a comforting light, offering beauty and quiet reassurance through its soft glow and gentle nourishment. Yet the Moonâs nature is far less anchored than this picture suggests. Beneath its surface gentleness, the Moon carries a persistent restlessness that few recognize.
The Moon is the fastest-moving graha, traversing the entire zodiac in just twenty-seven days. It moves from one bhava to the next in a ceaseless pilgrimage. It drinks from each place it visits, absorbing impressions, atmospheres, and memories, but it never allows itself to stick around for too long. The Moon moves like a wandering man through the villages of the world: staying only long enough to witness, listen, and learn, but never to the point of being owned by its experiences. No house, sign, or power can hold it down. It is the freedom of one who answers a deeper call, a rhythm older than any law of man. This rhythm mirrors the movement of consciousness itself that experiences and adapts, yet refuses to fossilize into a single shape. At a deeper level, the Moon's restlessness reveals the hidden principle that to be free is to refuse stagnation. It is to walk through the world open-eyed and soft-hearted yet unattached and unclaimed. Where others build walls around their experiences and turn them into fortresses of identity, the Moon passes through like water that will erode even the hardest stone in due time. In this way, the Moon carries within it the living essence of freedom, a sovereignty so complete that it does not need to resist bondage, because it moves too swiftly and too fluidly to ever be caught.
_______________________________
Shravana is the nakshatra of hearing, of receiving impressions from distant places and invisible realms. It is ruled by Vishnu, the All-Pervader, who strides through the three worlds. Like Vishnu, the Moon does not belong to any one world. He is the wanderer between them. Shravanaâs symbol is the ear, but the ear can never hold onto what it hears. It is open and completely receptive, yet it cannot cling to anything it takes in. In the Vedas, Chandra is called jagat-chanchala, the one who is restless throughout the worlds, a being who moves because movement is their very law. This movement is not an act of rebellion, but the expression of its very essence. Just as Vishnu steps through the worlds, never bound by any, the Moon reflects the freedom of one who is ever in transit, always receiving but never retaining. It is the journey itself, not the destination, that best defines the Moon. The Moonâs path mirrors Vishnu's ability to traverse space and time without ever being trapped by the forces of any one realm or attachment. In Shravana, we see that true freedom comes not from holding or possessing, but from being a vessel open to all things without clinging to any.
In Jyotisha, the Moon represents manas, the mind as a sense-organ, constantly in flux, gathering stimuli, responding, flowing. A mind that tries to fix itself on any object too long loses its lunar quality, and Shravana reveals this truth in full. A mind that drifts, listens, and allows impressions to pass through without building walls around them, remains alive and attuned to the rhythms of Vishnuâs movement through existence. Shravana is connected to the myth of the Vamana avatar, Vishnuâs form as the dwarf who claims the entire cosmos with three steps. The free man lives this myth, unassuming in stature but limitless in range, one step in the material world, one step in the astral, and the third upon the head of ego itself. Shravana teaches that true movement is not outward alone but inward, upward, downward, and through all dimensions. The free man can be likened to a silent carrier of knowledge, just as Shravanaâs ear carries secret wisdom, for they have no home because they are at home in all things, and no attachments because they are bound to the Eternal Sound and element akash, which captures the movement of Vishnu and the soft pulsations of AUM (Ohm) through all worlds.
Vishnuâs avatars, particularly Krishna and Rama, embody the essence of the Free Man. They walk through the world unattached to its powers or crowns. Their actions are personal, driven by an internal sense of duty, not external obligation or social constructs. This is why they act from principle and choice, rather than being forced by circumstances. Vishnu, as the divine archetype of freedom, preserves what is good in the world without ever being owned by the systems meant to protect it. Krishna, for instance, plays the role of "kingmaker" in the Mahabharata. He supports, protects, and advises, yet he refuses to rule the kingdom of the Pandavas. He is not tied to any worldly throne because he aligns himself with a deeper law. Krishna's freedom is displayed most poignantly in his wordly departure following the Kurukshetra war. He witnesses the decay that even victory brings: his own people, the Yadavas, descend into violence and self-destruction. And instead of fighting to hold the remnants of his world together, Krishna withdraws. Alone in the forest, he allows himself to be shot by a hunter, who mistakes his foot for that of a deer's. He does not resist. He does not cling to life, to empire, or even to legacy. His work was never about him. It was about fulfilling duty, and when that duty is done, he leaves quietly.
Ramaâs departure mirrors this. After his reign, having restored dharma and order, he too understands that his work is complete. He walks into the Sarayu River and vanishes, returning to his divine form. There is no grasping, no desperate clinging to the kingdom or to life itself. Rama, like Krishna, served the world without being bound by it. Both avatars show the highest form of freedom: the ability to walk away from power, fame, and even life itself when the purpose has been fulfilled. The symbolism of the hunter who kills Krishna ties into this as well. The hunter, a seemingly insignificant figure, represents the dispassionate inevitability of death, an event that Krishna cannot avoid and so does not even try. He allows it to happen, knowing that his role in this world is finished. Death is not something to fear, but a natural part of the journey that even the greatest of beings must ultimately surrender to. Krishna and Rama are the ultimate exemplars of freedom: they serve with full devotion, yet they remain unattached to any of it, whether that be their kingdom, their legacy, or the many connections they make throughout their lives. Their departures are not signaled by ceremony or clamor; they simply leave when their time is done. This is the heart of the Free Man. He is the one who serves a higher purpose, and when that purpose is fulfilled, moves on without clinging or fear.
Both Krishna and Rama (Vishnu's human avatars) exemplify the principles discussed earlier, but their actions provide specific, concrete examples of how they live without attachment to the external world, following an inner law instead.
_______________________________
This is why Shravana is often misunderstood, even within the traditional texts. It does not belong anywhere. Instead, it echoes the secret tradition of the parivrajakas, the wandering mendicants and ascetics of Vedic culture, those who moved silently through the world without attachments, bearing knowledge that could not be rooted in any single place. The parivrajaka, meaning "one who wanders away," was a recognized figure in ancient Bharat. Unlike the householder or the king, the parivrajaka sought no fixed position. They drifted from village to village, from forest to shrine, living off alms, sometimes offering teachings, sometimes simply listening. They moved because the world itself moves. To stay in one place too long was to deny the truth of impermanence. Their wandering was an embodiment of the cosmic drift and the ceaseless journey of the atman through many births, deaths, and states of consciousness.
The very name Shravana, meaning "to hear," echoes the way these drifters lived. They heard teachings from sages, from the earth, from the wind through the trees, from the silent transmission of the stars. Unlike the structured orders of monks that would come later, these early wanderers moved according to hidden tides. They were not exiles, for they did not mourn the loss of home. They were not conquerors, for they sought no ground to claim. They were the human embodiment of the Moonâs dance across the sky. In this way, the Moonâs full mystery unfolds only when we understand that it was never meant to be an object. Chandra is not static. He is a flow, a flowing deity, a flowing mind, a flowing life. Each nakshatra captures one way of responding to this motion.
This is why Shravana has the power to hear the divine directly, without intermediary or ritual. It is not the loud proclamations of devotion that reach Vishnu. He is not easy to please like Shiva and Brahma. It is the silent, drifting heart that appeals to Vishnu. In Vedic culture, there were many forms of drifters beyond the parivrajakas. The sadhus, the avadhutas, the naga babas, all in their own ways embodied a rejection of fixed worldly roles. Even righteous kings would, at the end of their lives, undertake vanaprastha, the life of the forest wanderer. To drift was seen not as a failure but as a return to cosmic truth, to be free in the most powerful way. All things must eventually unbind themselves from the structures they have built. The Free Man, especially in the form of Shravana, thus holds one of the most potent initiations. It is the call to dissolve the false security of form and to walk the world unattached, listening without needing to hold, knowing without needing to speak.
_______________________________
Shravana carries a seed of immense volatility, though it hides it well. It seems peaceful on the surface, the quiet traveler who tries to be invisible. Yet this stillness conceals the darker reality of Capricorn, where Shravanaâs energy finds its hold in the material world. Capricorn is feminine Saturn. It is the energy of endurance, the inner capacity to carry pain without complaint, and the ability to shelter a flame in the middle of a battlefield. Saturn in his feminine form weeps inwardly, folding wounds into himself as he allow them to harden into a shield. Capricorn is the burial ground of ambitions, the place where kings are dethroned and burned warriors sink into the river to be eaten by crocodiles. It is the battlefield stripped of its glory, the cold and bloody ground where corpses are left for vultures. It is the grinding pressure that forces the soul to face the impermanence of all things without anesthesia. It is the place where light itself seems to vanish, swallowed by the weight of time and decay.
The Free Man archetype, especially as seen through Shravana, carries within it this burden. Their movement is not an easy one. It is a drifting through battle, ruins, loss, and the endless painful shedding of attachments. The one who is free is one who has accepted death many times and has watched the collapse of structures without rushing to rebuild them. The connection to dark yantras and the burial grounds where tantric rites are performed is one of the most important pieces to understanding the full picture of Capricorn. It is not only about discipline or suffering. It is about the silent mysteries that open when everything visible has fallen away. Shravana hears what others cannot because it has crossed through these gates of death and defeat. It does not pretend that things will endure forever. It does not cling to illusions of safety or immortality. It moves because it knows that to stay too long in any place, or any identity, is to rot alongside it. The battlefield belongs to Capricorn because Saturn is the lord of time, and time is the final conqueror. All are sacrificed to it in the end. Mars, the dark tantric and war general, finds glory and purpose on the battlefield and in the graveyards of unknown darkness.
Volatility arises because the Free Man cannot root into the simple, shallow comforts that others depend on. Stability is foreign to Shravana. Emotional security, domestic happiness, material wealth, even fame or spiritual achievement are seen as thin veils before the unstoppable reality of loss. When these things are thrust upon him, he often responds by withdrawing. He allows the bonds to loosen and dissolve. Sometimes this happens so invisibly that no one notices until long after they are gone. This capacity for disappearance is itself a form of protection. Shravana belongs to a deeper law. When the structures around it begin to settle, it knows instinctively to slip away. The Moon here does not announce his departure. He simply ceases to feed the connections he has formed and drifts into the night. The volatility is also protective because it prevents stagnation. It is a violent kind of mercy. When the Free Man feels the soul beginning to decay within a structure, they either break it or abandon it. In this way, Shravana maintains its purity.
In the secret traditions, it was said that certain yogis, before death, would deliberately leave their bodies in burial grounds. They would sit silently in meditation among the bones and ashes, allowing their breath to slow and stop naturally. They became like stones or fallen leaves, returning to the earth without resistance. Shravana reflects this same final offering to move without clinging, to live without defense, to die without regret.

To elaborate- All the moon nakshatras are
notorious for manipulating information/words/the narrative to manipulate your reality. They will pull pieces from all the knowledge theyâve gained, even as far as to cite sources, to get you to believe in something that may have remotely anything to do with your actual reality or self concept. They are clever enough to make the words sound good to get you to believe it.
For example-
Rohini uses words to get inside your head, especially with that Venus influence to make you feel unworthy or valueless by attacking your self esteem and confidence. They attack your reality by enforcing their projections onto you-which they donât even have to believe themselves but itâs enough to make YOU believe you are all the negative things they say you are. Thatâs why you just donât engage. They are similar to Ashlesha in this way, but anything that makes it seem they will be surpassed as the best/favorite can make them feel threatened enough to say nasty, unethical things to keep you from outdoing them.
Hastas and Shravanas usually, if feeling threatened, will withhold knowledge/information from you either by leaving out bits or pieces of the truth. These nakshatras will put you in a state of confusion, never really knowing what is the truth or the full picture. They may also blatantly exert their knowledge on you to create an unbalanced power dynamic, obsessively focusing on small details or information youâve told them and may create an entire argument out of that instead of, again, the full picture. This is how they keep you in a state of confusion and a lot of times, will put you in a labyrinth where youâre both constantly arguing over the use of words and their meanings instead of the actual issue which theyâll avoid if it threatens the narrative theyâve built for themselves.
Shravana Iâve noticed will lie about small things if it brings them shame, either their shame around feelings or habits, and is very known for using the âthereâs a time and placeâ tactic but in reality stalling the issue.
Hasta Iâve seen more resort to gossiping, where that in itself is a form of manipulating another personâs reality if you get enough people to talk about it or believe it. Word of mouth is powerful, and thatâs why when an Hastaâs wrong doings go public, they are silent. If they do not talk about it themselves, then it is not true.
Moon nakshatras to me give me very much âWords are spellsâ energy.
Should I have mentioned the serial killer part? Maybe not but that is for another time where I can talk about their indulgence issues.
