Speak Easy Alleyways . There are a number of speak easy bars around Brisbane and I have visited a few of them. This particular you see this couple entering is called The Cloakroom. . During the day The Cloakroom is a high end fashion clothing store with fancy suits, shoes and belts, etc for men. But at night it becomes a dimly lit speak easy bar with some jazzy music, delicious cocktails and a one of a kind atmosphere. The bar itself is located on the roof, which is accessed by the stairwell seen in the first photo which can be found down the alleyway next to The Cloakroom store front. Worth checking out if your looking for some unique places to explore around Brisbane city. . Vege theif 🥕🌽🌾 . I don't often take portraits of people on the street but this guy's outfit was just too awesome not to. I stopped him and asked him politely if I could take a photo of him. He said yes but as I went to take the shot he just stared at his friends the whole time haha, I guess he probably regretted saying yes right afterwards maybe? Who knows. DJ in the alley way 🎧 . A few months ago there was a spontaneous graffiti event happening Brisbane CBD in the little side alley, Burnett Lane, right next to Gelatissimo. . It was great to see a bunch of graffiti artists were there doing their thing, plenty of people were stopping by and watching, chatting and taking photos with them too. I found it a bit strange that they were all painting (spraying) on canvas though, kind of ironic for graffiti artists imo. On-top of that there were there crazy disco lights and a DJ there - not sure if her gas mask was for all the fumes from the paint or just part of the look, either way made for an amazing street protrait. In town running errands... . Saw this guy walking along the street in the CBD, his outfit made him stand out against all the suits and ties walking around. My guess is he's come into town from a rural area, probably to run some errands. Falling quietly

More from my recent trip in Melbourne. Charlotte, Martin and myself went to visit the Redwood Forest located an hour and a half east from Melbourne City.
.
We had a stroll around for a while - and heard some running water which we headed towards. On the way we found a fallen tree which made for an interesting photo. It had rained recently, the air was fresh and crisp - nothing like the freshest oxygen 😁

When we found the water I decided to stop and take it all in for a while - I’m meditating next to the river on a log…
