losing it because my friend sent me a snap of her and a guy she’s been talking to and she always said he had a ‘cute russian or vaguely eastern european’ accent and when i watched the snap he’s clearly from ............... south london 🤭

❛     i  didn’t  realize  you  had  anything  left  unsaid.     ❜  it's  a  world  steve  has  got  used  to  -  that  of  superheroes,  supers,  heroics  --  whatever  one  wanted  to  call  them.  but  he’s  still  getting  used  to  the  whole  SECRET  IDENTITY  thing  (  wonder  woman  vs  diana  prince,  superman  vs  clark  kent,  batman  vs  ---  he  hasn’t  worked  that  one  out  yet  ),  &  it’s  even  more  difficult  to  keep  straight  in  one’s  head  when  some  heroics  just  don’t  even  have  one.  MARCUS  MORENO  IS  MARCUS  MORENO.  no  one  else  is  marcus  moreno,  &  marcus  moreno  is  no  one  else.  it’s  the  same,  steve  supposes,  as  himself.

               he’s  steve  trevor  -  nothing  more,  nothing  less.

&  yet  he  struggles  to  fully  understand  it.  sharkboy  &  lavagirl,  miracle  guy  &  tech-no,  .  .  .  marcus  moreno  &  marcus  moreno.  his  identity  wholly  out  in  the  open,  nowhere  to  hide.  there’s  a  bravery  in  that,  he  thinks  sometimes.  but  then  he  thinks  about  the  lengths  diana  goes  to  keeps  hers  a  secret,  &  steve  doubles  back,  thinking  there’s  a  recklessness  in  just  having  it  all  out  in  the  open.  &  doesn’t  he  have  a  child  ?    ❛     guess  you  really  do  learn  something  new  every  day.     ❜
