🌈 Queer Webcomic Spotlight: Heroes of Thantopolis 🌈

This Pride Month, we'll be sharing some recommendations for webcomics that feature queer characters and storylines! Today, we'd like to tell you about Heroes of Thantopolis, an all ages fantasy adventure comic by @strontiumsun.

Heroes of Thantopolis tells the story of Cyrus, a young boy who was transported to the titular City of the Dead under mysterious circumstances. The conniving queen of the realm, Helene, taps Cyrus as her Champion and enlists him to fight against three wicked ghosts interested in taking over the city, in exchange for sending Cyrus home and getting his memories back. Luckily, Cyrus doesn’t have to do it alone. Along with his new ghost friends, Cyrus explores the afterlife, fights bad guys and unravels mysteries. Can Cyrus save Thantopolis? And is it really that his arrival in the city was random? Or is there more to Cyrus than it seems…?

Stront Reviews Sodas - Sprite Tropical Mix

Coca-Cola has put out two new special Sprite flavors this month. I saw this Tropical Mix flavor at the grocery store and grabbed it to try.

Overall, I thought this tasted pretty good. I've said it before, but Sprite is a "thin" soda without a lot of body. Whenever they add a flavor to it, it makes the soda thicker, which I prefer.

I couldn't describe the flavor of this one. It didn't taste strongly of any particular tropical fruit, like pineapple or mango; it was more generically "fruity." I enjoyed the taste regardless.

Overall I'd rate this a 6.5/10. A fine addition to Sprite, just not very memorable or distinct. I do think it tastes better than the holiday Sprite + vanilla flavor that they had at Coke Remix machines back in the winter. Unfortunately I don't drink tea so I didn't try the Sprite + Tea special flavor, but I imagine it'd taste like an Arnold Palmer.
