I've been having a blast lately writing about Zau

I dont think I like Nezha's design for Zau ngl, so in order to flex my character designing muscles, I thought I'd do my favorite gurl!

I would do Mk next but I really have no clue what to do with him- lorewise at least... Mei is somewhat a diplomat??? , Sandy is an admiral, Tang is a medic and Red-son is a mechanic of sorts??? And while Nezha is captain to resource scouts, Mk is Givin me troubles. What would his job be in a zombie apocalypse safe camp??? I'm open to ideas

It's funny how half of Yui's story is actually built upon Zau (๑•́ ₃ •̀๑) speakin of which If i do make it to another comic, i'll prolly change up the name. I already had a different Zombie apocalypse story I lovingly called "Bye Bye yesterday" (named after the assassination classroom song yes) so I'm think for Zau I'd title it like, "Hello Morrow"

Zau prolly has the most spoiler about Yui's story in failsafe, Heck Yui's heritage was prolly most blatantly shown in the very first post about Zau, hinted in the second, and confirmed on the 3rd, and just for funsies I'll hint that "there may or may not be a Zau lore spoiler here too."

It's the tags.

I just wanted to add on to this by saying the bots commenting "hey are you available for commission? Dm me" are often targetting broad tags like "#artists on tumblr, "" #art, " and "digital art. "

That doesn't mean these tags are completely unsafe, they do still help you reach a broader audience, but if anyone does want to stop receiving these, I suggest not using these tags. Idk if there are more, there prolly are. These are just from things I've observed so far, so yeah... stay safe fellas!

Quick but Important PSA

I’ve had some unpleasant encounters recently on my blog and I’d like to make my boundaries clear so I don’t have to keep receiving messages that make me uncomfortable.

I don’t want to flood feeds, so please read under the cut.

1. Please Don’t Ask Me for Free Art.

I feel like I shouldn’t have to explain this, but I will anyway. Don’t ask artists for free art unless they say they are taking free requests or art trades. You can make suggestions: e.g. “You know what would be cute? [Cam’s Oc] dressed as [Canon Character]!” But any more asks about free art will be immediately deleted.

2. Please Don’t Use Me as a Channel to Talk to Other People.

I’ve received asks from someone to try and get in contact with one of my friends/mutuals, who blocked this person. I respect my friends’ boundaries and would never purposefully try to get them in contact with someone who makes them uncomfortable.

If I receive any more of those or people trying to get in contact with anyone else I know through me, you will be ignored…or blocked if the harassment continues.

3. Please Do Not be Overtly Sexual About My Ocs.

You can find my ocs hot and attractive, that’s fine. If we’re friends/moots/talk a lot, we can joke about it. But, when you start making comments like these:

And I don’t know you at all? I have a problem with it. Don’t get me started on referring to my oc as me. Don’t do that either please.

4. Please Don’t Write Paragraphs in my Ask Box.

I use mobile when I use tumblr, and honestly it’s a lot to read. If you have a fanfiction or a long suggestion, please put an ask for me to DM you personally and why you want me to. Please be specific. Or, just make a post on your own blog and tag me, I’ll most likely read it.

I hope you all can understand why I had to post this. I want to be friendly and to talk to y’all, but not to the detriment of my own mental health.

Lmk Oc + Au:

So this is a wip I'm currently re-creating

For this, I thought “wouldnt it be funny if Og Lmk Nezha met my Yui from Zau?" Then I realized that Nezha isn't exactly the silly guy the fandom wanted me to think, not the lmk one anyway that man means business, and…

Within "failsafe" (my lmk au not zau) Nezha was technically an accessory to Yui practically being an orphan… and Zau Yui especially was not raised by Sandy, so she looks absolutely like her parents' child.

Now, Lmk Nezha is a sweetheart but I imagine that that one action or lack there off, of making Yui an orphan for hundreds of years is prolly one of the mistakes that haunts him at night, and while he tries his best to make up for it, he also understands why the remaining family members would be mad at him and is willing to end him would it not start a war, and is crushed about it. He will never hurt a child if he can help it but he is not about to let his guard down, especially if the said orphan child looks exactly like her parents and not raised by the kindest man on earth.

Zau Yui on the other hand, was raised in a zombie safe camp at the near end of the earth and proper civilization, and her only comfort was her older brother figure Nezha. To suddenly not have that anymore… The world might as well just have ended for her then and there…

Testing New Brushes

My honest, most down-to-earth reaction to what you just said:

First time trying imported brushes using QR Codes, they weren’t too bad. I like the one that feels like a Sharpie and the rectangle one.

Also, skin tones are hard. I’m pretty sure Philix’s skin tone in the drawing isn’t even the same as the one from a few days ago. Oh well, I’m learning, I’ll get the hang of it eventually.

Here's a fun fact before Yui was Yui, she was Princess Yu 1st daughter of Dbk and Pif and a child during their divorce (yes, there was a divorce in jttw).

Princess Yu as in "Shen YU"

This is a re-draw from a very old comic of mine (if I find it i'll share it)

Basically, before becoming Yui and now Shen Yu, the adopted daughter of the Snake Queen, I had an Au where she was a demon who demanded random child sacrificees from a nearby village, but these children we're often abused, homeless, or about to be.

She would take them under the guise of eating them, but she had a lair that was a school with demon attendants teaching the kids reading, writing, and agriculture all thing she wanted them to learn so that one day when they want to leave her nest they would knowledgeable about the world to survive within society and hopefully raise a family better than what they were given with her guidance.
