𝓂𝓎 𝒻𝒶𝓋𝑜𝓇𝒾𝓉𝑒 𝒶𝓅𝓅𝓈 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝓊𝓃𝒾 🍑
In this post, I list 7 of my all-time favorite apps / chrome extensions that I use daily. I hope I can help out some fellow uni students who are struggling. This might help make studying less painful and a tiny tiny bit more enjoyable.
love, edith 🌾

notion!
i promised sometime last week that i would make a post, and i am delivering. notion is a desktop/phone/internet app (everything syncs) that gives you a workspace that keeps just about everything together in one organized place. i’ve been using it for a few months now and it’s been working really well for me, though i’ve probably only scraped the tip of the iceberg in terms of what it’s capable of. it’s biggest draws, imo, are the minimalist interface & the incredible amount of room for customization. no rules in this thing! also, the phone app is super functional; it’s great to be able to drag a bunch of decor images into a page and then check it on my phone at ikea, or do the same thing with a grocery list.
the way i have mine set up, i have one “home page” that has links to the other pages i’ve made… these could be sorted better, but whatever.

(you can pick your own emoji) some of those pages are just images or random notes (“grocery” is just where my grocery list goes); the one that sees the most use is the “agenda” page, which use as a weekly to-do list.

as you can see! i have a list for each day and then a misc list for yet-to-be-scheduled things that i don’t want to forget about. usually i delete the completed tasks at the end of each day, but i left yesterday’s up to show you. big pros of this interface: you can click & drag to-dos to easily move them around; i haven’t bothered with color-coding but you absolutely can (both text & background). other examples:
house project stuff (made during the peak of my craigslist madness earlier this month):

calendar (i have too many calendars so i don’t actually look at this one too often tbh):

food/recipes, which i am very very gradually transferring over, with the added bonus of my friend josé’s ceviche recipe:

you get the idea!! i don’t want to make this post too long. basically, notion is good for allowing you to dump all of your stuff in one place – not unlike evernote, really, except that it feels a bit more minimal and versatile. let me know if you end up using it!

pretty playlists
(i’m totally replaceable) I’ll always be replaced, i’ll always be forgotten, it’s my reality. (in a different life) - I can’t wake up in the morning without you on my mind, please leave me. You won’t go but you didn’t say in reality. Please just go. (soft easy love) - easy listening songs that r gentle and pop like that are about love. (from the beginning Alt.) - I found these songs a diff account which makes me think, our lives are diff but we’ve similar notions about soft love and this is how they see it (wont regret you when i go) - Ur dream skater gf listens to this playlist, its summertime and she hangs around the park in the sun every afternoon to night (make me feel like an angel) - songs that i listen to when im happy/calm (make me feel like a demon) -songs that i listen to when im angry (celestial light shines down) - im sitting on the wall by the beach and the water is just swaying, the sun has already set and people are getting in their cars going home but i’m sat here thinking about how im lonely and how much i miss you, im probably gonna walk around the streets for a while too (we are no longer each other’s) - but i want you to hold me again, I miss your warmth, im so cold without you, please come home to me baby, i can wait for you (it’s really you on my mind) - god you’re still on my mind and i know you don’t want me anymore but i just miss you and i miss what we were but i’m happy you’re in love again, even if i’m not (i’m looking for my heart) - its time i got over it, im moving on now. finally. a new playlist, for a new crush. (i’ll protect you) - i want to protect you and i’ll always be here for you and we’ll grow up together, through girlfriends, heartbreaks, and arguments (in the heat of the summer) - songs mostly about girls that im happy for an am excited to listen to in summer in the sunlight (then there’s no future) - i thought i’d be cured by now but every night im still sitting here wishing I don’t exist and knowing im alone (first day of the month) - it’s the first day of march, a new month with new memories to be made :)

some concept playlists;
sitting alone in a cafe on a rainy gray day watching raindrops running down the window.
it’s a gentle day in spring and a warm sunny breeze blusters in through the curtains.
when ur lying on the floor at 3AM with a cough syrup buzz.
a scenic highway drive on a foggy sunday morning through the forest thinking about life.
feeling like a badass walking down the street in a leather jacket and sunglasses while combing your hair back.
middle school emo phase.
angsty songs for when ur lying on the floor dissociating at 4 AM.
late 2000s/early 2010s upbeat songs for artsy hipsters with thick-rimmed glasses and scarves
songs that get me through the bad days

09/20/2017 | Advanced Nutrition Notes I have so much to do until the end of this week! I created a list of things I need to do and their time frame. It made me feel better. Now I know what and when to do. I have a pretty difficult exam coming next week and I’m nervous about it bc I need to study so much! Mostly I need to memorize a load of information. I’m excited though. I love my major and love studying so these challenges make me so excited #nerd
