An update
As many of you noticed and have asked me about, I have taken a sizeable break from this blog. I had started on a downward spiral with my work and was not passing English Lit with anything higher than a D grade. I didn't feel it would be fair to post work that wasn't up to scratch as the idea of this blog is to help people doing A Levels, not show my own capabilities. During the two year course, despite my coursework reaching As and Bs, my actual class work and practice exams were not producing good results. Due to this, I took a large break. During this break I made sure my sole focus was on my A Levels and sure enough, I passed with a B and was only a few marks off an A. I will be continuing to post my old A Level work in the hopes that it will provide the support I was lacking during my own exam period. I hope to help all of you through these difficult periods and wish you every success. Overall my A Levels were an A*, A, and B. I'm sure many of you will reach and exceed this and I have every faith that you can do this across all subjects. I do apologise for the lack of notice about the break and I understand that for many of you, the advice you wanted became unavailable very quickly. I assure you all that I am now permanently back and hope that you will still come to me seeking advice when you need it. If you study other subjects, please note I also studies Business Level 3 and received an A* alongside Financial Studies with an A grade and a C grade in AS art. I am always willing to help in these subjects as my knowledge is much greater in these, so despite being an English studyblr, I can provide information and help with other subjects and school life in general.

Word Counter - Not only does it count the number of words you’ve written, it tells you which words are used most often and how many times they appear.
Tip Of My Tongue - Have you ever had a word on the tip of your tongue, but you just can’t figure out what it is? This site searches words by letters, length, definition, and more to alleviate that.
Readability Score - This calculates a multitude of text statistics, including character, syllable, word, and sentence count, characters and syllables per word, words per sentence, and average grade level.
Writer’s Block (Desktop Application) - This free application for your computer will block out everything on your computer until you meet a certain word count or spend a certain amount of time writing.
Cliche Finder - It does what the name says.
Write Rhymes - It’ll find rhymes for words as you write.
Verbix - This site conjugates verbs, because English is a weird language.
Graviax - This grammar checker is much more comprehensive than Microsoft Word, again, because English is a weird language.
Sorry for how short this is! I wanted to only include things I genuinely find useful. p>

Here are some general tips I’ve summarized from my experience this year in dealing with a bunch of demanding classes!
Plan. Everything.
This tip is especially for my fellow procrastinators as I’ve never been able to focus completely on a huge task. Do yourself a favor and divide a daunting project into smaller portions and predict how long it will take you to complete the task (it doesn’t matter if its inaccurate). Now since you know how long each sub-task will take, you can use With this method, you’ll find yourself utilizing time much more efficiently as you’ll finish a huge task bit by bit each day.

Time Management Methods, Websites, and Apps:
🌟 Schooltraq (future post coming up about this website/app!)
Bullet Journaling (masterpost by @studyign)
🌟 Momentum (a chrome extension)

Notetaking and Studying
To be rather blunt, the majority of studyblr is focused around pretty notes that have been revised many times and most pictures of notes with a lot of notes on here have a lot of notes primarily because they are aesthetically pleasing. I’m all for pretty notes but remember that the universal goal of studyblrs is to succeed and if you have a lot of work to do, you don’t have time to color-code and rewrite everything to look neat. Even if you don’t take too long to make your notes look nice remember that every second counts!
Methods:
Taking Notes in Class/Lecture Notes by @studyquirk
Efficient Notes in Class by @hexaneandheels
Making Revision Notes by @raistudy
How to Make Study Guides by @studybudyblr
How to Revise by @youaretheairinmyalveoli
Stress Relief
Remember it isn’t always about studying! Taking a break will help you do better as well so don’t be afraid to do something fun in fear of not getting your work done!
Calming Music and Websites:
Rain Sounds
Nature Sounds Mixer
🌟 Coffee Shop Sounds (Coffitivity)
🌟 The Quiet Place
I hope this was helpful!!! also pls ignore my overuse of exclamation marks

16.03.16 | 21:29pm I went to visit Brighton University today. It was an interesting experience and the course seems really good. I also looked around the area and explored the main town. I went through the lanes and ventured into small cute shops. I met some awesome people in stores as well as at the university itself. I just think it's such an amazing area and even though it's only an insurance choice, I do think its great and wouldn't mind going there. I only took these two photos today which is disappointing but I thought I'd just record todays events.
