I just applied for an engineering AA with plans to pursue a bachelor's in civil engineering. Do you have any advice? I'm normally a lot better with humanities, and the math classes are a bit intimidating, but I've been working in traffic management for the last four years and want to be able to advance my career and education.
Let me be honest and I can only tell from my personal experience as all people go through different ones. Bachelor's in engineering was intimidating for me, because of maths. I was an average student who did well enough to pass. Mathematics applies everywhere in engineering, so it might be quite hard but the bright side of it is that if you are a hardworker, you can get through anything. I worked hard and so did my friends who couldn't even pass their few classes during first semester, maybe we all got used to it.
It might sound cliche but hardwork is the key to success, atleast it was for me. If you have a great interest, then you should go for it. As for traffic engineering, the mathematics isn't heavily applied as compared to structural and Geotechnical.
One of my professors even said that to avoid the headache of mathematics and calculations, he chose traffic engineering 😆. Even I was nodding my head with his statement. Since you have been working in one for years, I bet you will ace it.
Though this is not a good or useful advice, but I hope I was able to help you in some ways. I wish you all the best for the further education and all your future endeavors. Take care and study well..

I have been into putting stickers on my phone and laptop lately, also pins on my bags and hanging plushies keychains on my bags because here, almost everyone even my professors have their keychains on their bags and purses. It's so cute.

88rising has disappeared but some of their music still hits hard.
Trying to stay sane while never-ending works pile on top of me, well, I chose this life for myself.

Nothing is better than the weekends where you just forget that you are a student and have a ton of work piling up.
Left image is of me and my friend enjoying the local delicacies in hot summery afternoon while talking about love and life, and watching young undergraduates enjoying their first week of their Uni in their new uniforms and fresh smiling faces. My professor once mentioned how all these excitements die down after few months, and those new students aren't seen anywhere at the campus.
Right image is of our Uni's photocopy shop where we print out all of our required reading materials.

Since the semester have begun, the library gets too crowded. One of our professors gave us his personal office for me and my friend to study and work in. It's nice and cozy.
They have water boiler with coffee sachets, even sugar and paper cups. There is a printer and extra stationaries, professor said we can make use of these things for he never uses this room and he will be happy if he sees his office lively and occupied.
I am really grateful.

At Uni Library.
We have this study corner where you are can play board games, catch up with your friend, sit on the floor with cushions and tables all provided, though the silent zone is not followed here in this corner, the second floor with more strict looking librarians are more for concentrated and serious studying.
I can stay here the entire day, and do my own thing.
