"Let's have a baby."

Dimitri given it a lot of thought. They shared many accomplishments to achieve a stable life. On the topic of children, they both were pretty neutral throughout their relationship. While in high school, that almost became a reality for them. The timing just wasn’t right.

Now…it’s right.

Let's Move ... again

Dimitri hired a relator to look for a house in San Sequoia. Ayla trusted his ability to make choices, but set one simple rule: WE NEED SPACE.

A three bedroom, 3 bath house with a den, a garage, and a large backyard with a pool.

Negotiations began. The seller wasn't easily convinced. Demanding more, sending them to the very top of their budget. But...

First Vacation ...

Both Ayla and Dimitri ended up graduating with near perfect scores as while later.

Ayla's sister, Sabrina, is the first to congratulate them...

with a fully paid for vacation.

Soon they found themselves on the beaches of Sulani.

Moving Around ...

So last we were here, Ayla just moved out of her sister's home to live with her boyfriend Dimitri and her friends post graduation.

Ayla called the warehouse her new home.

But that didn't last long. Coupled with the prying eyes and lack of privacy, Ayla and Dimitri decided to get their first apartment, Pinecrest Apartments, on the other side of town.

At the same time, they both enrolled in two different universities. Ayla for Honors Fine Arts. Dimitri for Physics.

So .... it's been a while (not that anyone is checking) and I found some photos that I forgot to post in order for Ayla's Story. It would fall before this post.

Moving Out...

Ayla packed up her entire life with the help of Dimitri.

It took a day because they kept stopping, playing around, eating food, watching tv, listening to music.

Dimitri took the majority of her stuff in his pickup truck and left. Ayla lingered behind to have a moment with her sister.

And she set off with Sasuke (her pup) in tow.

Her new home sweet home. The once abandoned warehouse her friends acquired a while back. Overtime, Ayla used her gifted money from Sabrina to help renovate since she had access to do so. Sabrina wouldn’t let her sister live in a dump and also not have any appliances. And that warehouse was absolutely a dump. It should’ve been condemned and needed a lot of work to make it more livable. So with the money she picked three spots in the warehouse to dump her money into as a start. Dimitri’s room/area that is completely separate from everyone else.

Graduation Day

Graduation was a absolute disaster, so the crew came back to school later to take pictures to wrap up their teen years officially. 

Yes, they adopted Sasha (purple and black braids) into their group after Vix officially announced that she was her girlfriend. 

Last act of PDA on school grounds.

And after a day full of activity, they all somehow fell asleep on the only functional couch they had.

The Holidays

Tis the season for family get togethers. 

For Sabrina and Ayla, it never just meant immediate family. Everyone was invited. Their house is big enough to fit dozens of people. But this season is extra special. Sabrina decided it was time for her soulmates to meet her sister. She didn’t really care about anyone else meeting them. Ayla is much more important to her. (Read here and here for context)

She gave them a pep talk in preparation. And they promised not to embarrass her in anyway, especially Satoru. He has his clown moments. 

And then they met. Ayla immediately turned into a detective and turned their kitchen into an interrogation room while Sabrina worked on dinner before everyone else arrived. Ayla has a way of asking questions that is 100% invasive and confrontational, but Suguru and Satoru were good sports and answered everything honestly for the most part. 

Sabrina made sure to keep an eye on them. But after a while, the tense convo turned into laughter. Satoru unleashed his charm. Ayla grew to like them and gave Sabrina her approval as Sabrina did with Dimitri. Did she understand their dynamic worked? No. But if Sabrina’s happy, she’s happy.

Later more of their friends and family arrived and they celebrated into the wee hours of the morning.

One Time for the Birthday B*

Last day of high school.

Ayla studied hard for her exams and aced them effortlessly. She’s on track to graduate a semester early, right before Christmas.

She celebrated the best way she knew how. With Dimitri. They spent most of their time together anyway so why not?

And the Celebration continued. Her birthday just so happened to be the next day. Sabrina spent most of the day baking her a special cake at Ayla’s request. Sabrina makes the best sweets.

Her friends planned a get together in her honor. She’s the baby of the group after all, the last one to kiss her teen years goodbye. She didn’t accept any gifts because she didn’t need them. Having her friends around was good enough.

Of course video games had to be played.

Vix used the party as an opportunity to get close to her crush (aka her🍃 plug) Sasha.

Every one gathered and she extinguished her candles, officially hitting adulthood.

After well wishes, Sabrina figured it was time to leave. She had her own plans for the remainder of the night.

Although they were all adults, they decided not to hit the clubs and drink. Instead they hung out until the wee hours of the morning vibing to music and eating cake.

As everyone expected, Ayla and Dimitri slipped away to “talk” after a while. But they really did talk this time. He had an important question to ask, but it really didn’t sound like a question. It was more like a statement, a suggestion she accepted instantly.

“You should move in....”
