Essentially saying "you can't take criticism" even as we point out her hypocrisy, and doubling down on her victim mentality of people criticising her.
So sai scribbles decided to post her slander and nonsense about helluverse "haters" in the #viviziepop critical tag.
I wish I was making this up
I heard about her, such long videos for such L takes. Can't imagine watching a 2 hour one, let alone a 7 hour one

She really vying for attention from critics if she's posting in the critic tags, eh? L 😒

I may or may not have told her to get lost alongside some other critics, and she responded how you'd expect.

Yo, how's it going, @cookieclimax?
I just wanna ask you a serious question right now.
So we've heard of male characters being described as "tumblr sexymen" and whatnot, right? Well I was up all night with this thought...is there a such a thing as a "tumblr sexywoman"?
I'm being dead serious right now, because I've seen a female character described as a "tumblr sexywoman" before, but I've seen a lot of male characters described as "tumblr sexymen", and now I curious.
Because if "tumblr sexywoman" is a thing, what female charcaters would you say qualify as "tumblr sexywomen"? For me, the first character that pops into my head is sarah henderson from needlemouse, for some reason.
Ayooo~!
I wanna say Miss Piggy or Morticia Addams or something (idk why those 2 were the first to pop into my head, maybe cuz they're both iconic?) but I've never even seen anyone described as a Tumblr sexy woman so I actually haven't the slightest clue what would make someone qualify 🥲

I've seen analog horror with more optimistic endings than mha.
“Bnha is about second chances and optimism-.”
HUH!?!?!?
The RAPIST, CHILD ABUSER gets vindication because he’s in a place of power and people including his victims inexplicably like him! The child he LITERALLY RUINED and killed people/committed crimes BECAUSE OF HIM fucking DIES a torturous death, being forced to see his stupid fucking face Every Single Day after spending years literally falling apart and going more and more crazy because of that early abuse! Oh, and the other victims also make everything his fault.
Another child who was a failure of the system dies and the only one who attempts to save her is another fucking child (who blabbers the system and really doesn’t acknowledge the glaring issues).
The other now-adult heavily abused and groomed child is forced to become a living vessel for that abuser to use to cheat death and get a better body. His whole life was a lie and structured for that very purpose. None of that was really ever his beliefs, and he violently looses everyone he’d grown to care about.
A hetermorph who faced discrimination and vile language, who fought for the only people who gave a damn about him and did the only thing he knew to try and change the systematic oppression is disregarded as a villain and tossed in jail, everyone he cared about dead. The “help” he’s given? No. (That arc was poor.)
A man who lost his parents young was funnelled into crime and executed.
Everyone who has a “villainess” quirk is just about forced into crime and reviled, mocked and addressed with that v-slur by the so-called symbols and heroes of the world. If they ere, then they’re thrown in jail without thought; no questions, no doubting their overlording systems, no trying to society better for the children.
The “bnha second chance” magic is mainly with the new gen (the students), yet these criminals’ backgrounds do still matter because the new gen know, it very much impacts their crimogenic factors, and the death and jail, and undeserved “redemption” happens with the new gen.
It is beyond disgusting that a rapist, child abuser doesn’t face shit because “he gave us a job” and “he’s trying.” He was a GROWN adult when he made those choices, using his power to knowingly commit crimes (and assumedly endorsed by his parents).
What was Dabi? A CHILD. An abused child who was groomed and thrown away. Who lost control of his quirk when he felt utterly abandoned and accidentaly immolated himself. Who was taken as a backup and intentionally given a fall-apart body to force him into servitude.
Then Rei, she was not only forced into a child marriage, she was imprisoned in a hospital by him after she broke because of him (she realised right away and tried to actually correct it and apologizing). She really only comes back into the narrative to absolve him of his actions and to be his uncompensated caretaker. I don’t care if it’s “culture,” rape culture deserves to die with its legs sledgehammered and anointed with sulphuric acid.
If anyone thinks I’m justifying Dabi or anyone’s victims, you’re not ready for this level of discourse.
I engage in critical reading, not blindly believing any dialogue by the “good guys.” Yes, the latter pisses me off, especially when the narrative twists itself to convince its readers that whatever bullshit is true. Bnha does this. Hellaverse does this. 2Ha does this. Thor3+ and Loki series does this.
I’m liberal on my block button.

okay fair enough. Still not a fan of the ship because bj just come across as a "niceguy" who doesn't take "no" for an answer. I found their dynamic in the cartoon way more enjoyable tbh.
so, I couldn't help but notice you are a shipper of lydia and beetlejuice and I have to ask...why? Beetlejuice coerced her into marriage when she was a friggin teenager, and his creepy stalking put her in therapy from the trauma. I don't know about you, I feel those are some massive red flags that can just be ignored.
Ok I understand where your coming from but LISTEN I only like the sequel version of them not the dynamic where Lydia was still a kid bc no- I ONLY SHIP THE SEQUEL VERSION OF THEM sorry about not making a clear explanation on that-

Horikoshi really shouldn't have let his weiner do the thinking when I came to the writing.

Horikoshi released drawings of Hagakure as an adult — and surprise, she now has a “hero costume”… that looks like lingerie. And the worst part? This implies that before, she was basically fighting in nothing or just underwear for years. YEARS. Even though this universe has shown — multiple times — that it's possible to design support items and costumes that adapt to individual quirks. So, why wasn’t she given one earlier? Why didn’t anyone care?
With Momo, it's the same pattern. The second she’s shown as an adult, her costume suddenly covers more — especially around her chest. It's like their dignity only matters once they're no longer teenagers. That’s not just lazy design. It’s deliberate.
People can try to justify it all they want with “quirk-based limitations” or “fanservice is part of the genre,” but at this point, it’s tired. Transparent. And honestly gross.
The message this sends — both in-story and to the audience — is that it’s fine to oversexualize young girls for years… until it’s no longer “funny” and starts becoming “awkward”. That’s not just a bad trope. That’s a creative problem.

right on the money as always, @thr0wnawayy.
Every day, my rewrite version of hawks seems like less of a flanderization of his canon counterpart as we see more and more of his dangerous and incompetant methods.
He decided not to get rid of the ranking system, claiming it still had valuable pros. These nonexistant, made up pros that totally outweigh the cons like, oh I don't know...motivating people like endeavor and number six to do horrible things to rise in the ranks? Allowing spineless cowards like yoroi musha, who immediately chicken out and leave the people they swore to protect when shit hits the fan and the public isn't wanking them off because they were in it only for fame and glory, into high ranking positions.
And come on, invest in young people? Under what circumstance would that phrase NOT sound suspicious or morally dubious? Even snoozer mceyebags could see how utterly wrong that sentence sounds in any way you hear. And again, the fact that hawks was a former child soldier makes it 10 times worse.
And yet somehow, hori is trying to paint that narrative all "come on guys, hero society really is changing for the better with hawks in charge and le-moron-oops, I mean lemillion as the number one hero! Hero society is totally kosher now! No festering issues here! Nope! No siree bob!"
And you knkw what I have to say to that?

But it still feels disingenious for me to call him an oc when he's based on a canon character.
the spontanteous spinner!
so anybody who has read a view of my posts knows that I have a major bone to pick with how horikoshi handles spinner's character, design, and quirk. Now it's time to put my money where my mouth is and make a bio for my version of him. Enjoy!
Real name: shuichi iguchi
Alias: spinner
quirk: gecko(spinner has the physical traits and abilities of verious gecko species, from the fleet-footed web-toed gecko to the legless yet ferocious flapfoot gecko.
Age: 20
Occupation: vigilante
Headcanon va: dee bradley baker
Appearance: spinner resembles a semi-humanoid conglomerate of traits and features found in various gecko species. His skin is overlapped and ossified, resembling fishnscales. His headshape is most like a crested gecko. Is his teeth are sharo and his tongue is semi-forked. He has a long, prehnesile tail, with patagia alkng his limbs and torso. His hands and feet are equipped with sticky toe-pads and retractable claws. His bidy is rather serpentine and flexible. He can cjange color, his skin being blue with orange spots when being a civilian, and being black with golden stripes as a vigilante.
Personality: spinner puts on a tough guy persona when out on the job, but he's more a geek on the inside. He is extremely touchy about his status as a heteromorph, and has zero tolerance for nicknames like "lizard". He is a self-proclaimed video game enthusiast, often having gaming sessions with his roommate (and boyfriend) tenko shimura. He has a lot of respect for his best friend and fellow vigilante, magne.

no, he's a rewritten version of canon spinner. Many of his traits here take at least some inspiration from canon.

no worries, friend! I totally get it!
Looking back, I have kinda lagged behind with appearances. The only I've been all that descriptive of mithman and camazotz so far. I will say that captain spandex is very muscilar like all might and endeavor. He also has a "derrick j. Wyatt" ahh chin to boot (considering I headcanon him sounding like patrick warburton, this shouldn't be surprising.) His "costume" is very much lime supermans, but with a "CS" where the S should be, an added cowl, and the red blue swap places, with the blue being his cape and cowl, while the red is the rest of the suit.
I'm glad you like mothman and herpy a lot! My favorite character I've made so far besides herpy has gotta be camazotz. Sally's personality is meant to radiate "lovable villain who just needs a friend" like say, the grinch, dr doof, or ashley from warioware.
hey soso!
So I can't thank you enough for giving me the greenlight to post my own mha inspired in the mha critical community, because I've been prainstorming it for a little while now, (now that my actual mha rewrite idea is mostly complete) but was having a hard time looing for the right folks to show it to. Now that I've posted a fair bit of my character bios(there's more to come, don't worry.) I'm curious what your thoughts and critiaues on them are. Because while this isn't my first rodeo with superhero-inspired fanfiction, this is the first time I've made my own independant superhero universe, and some helpful critiques would be a real help.
OMG IM SO SORRY, I GENUINELY DIDN’T SEE THIS ASK UNTIL NOW 😭😭
For some reason my asks weren’t loading at ALL so I’m sorry I didn’t respond to this sooner (plus I’ve been off Tumblr for a few days bc I was on vacation lol)
To be perfectly honest, after reading some of your charger profiles, I don’t have much to critique! I think you did a good job developing your character and each of them have unique mutations. I think Mothman might be my favorite, but thst might be because I like moths :P (and Herpeton because I feel bad for him and reptiles are cool too :D)
Though I do suggest maybe creating a description of what your characters looks like; it can give people a better feel of your character. Of course, you don’t have to do all of them, but maybe the characters that don’t have full body mutations (like Captain Spandex; since he’s the No. 1 hero, I’d imagine him to have the build of All Might or Endeavor, but he could look different since he’s YOUR character lol). But that’s all, keep up the work!

this image is gonna give me a stroke. Toru is now in a bikini. Sure hori, wait till she's an adult to actually give her some fucking clothes. That won't seem creepy at all. And even still, toru's now in more at risk with the fact that she isn't invinzible anymore. Setsuna is now blonde for some reason too? And wbat the hell is going on with wash? I that he naturally looked like a washing machine. Also cementoss looks so dead inside now.
I can strongly relate to a lot of criticism surrounding Horikoshi's panorama art from two weeks ago – stuff like Spinner's and Mr Compress' designs not having changed at all in contrast to all the other characters that are still alive eight years later (implying they might have died just like Tomura, Dabi, Himiko, Twice, and Kurogiri?), Magne, Chisaki, Pops, the Shie Hassaikai, the MLA, Tenkos family (minus Nana and Mon-chan) etc. not being there at all, Hagakure's outfit…
As for myself, I don't find it in me anymore to be upset about that stuff. I can relate to the criticism, but I don't care anymore. It's business as usual with Horikoshi.
After that mess of an ending, I just don't give a damn about Horikoshi's opinion anymore, whether he thinks Spinner and Mr. Compress should die like the rest of the League or not, whether the League deserves happiness in the afterlife or eternal pain and suffering in hell.
BNHA's ending made me lose any respect I used to have for Horikoshi as a writer. And even if the panorama art gave no cause for even the tiniest complaint, it wouldn't undo all the damage the ending has done. It wouldn't change that BNHA (at least to me) is a failed story and a narrative sellout, and no artwork in the world, no matter how amazing, gorgeous, and breathtaking, could ever wipe the slate clean again. At most, all Horikoshi can do now is indulge in damage control – and even therein, he's failing miserably, constantly screwing over himself trying to please the fans that are screaming the loudest and/or spending the most money (aka the BakuDekus and the right-wing dudebros).
By now, I just try to concentrate on the stuff I like (the League smiling together, Himiko's adorable grin, Mon-chan, the Spinaraki food) and think about how I can use it in fics, headcanons, etc.
I guess, that goes for BNHA as a whole, actually; I kinda treat it like a huge buffet – I take what I like and ignore what I hate. I enjoy Horikoshi's art (which is still top-notch) and flout his crappy writing. I don't feel bound to his writing. No one should.
