everyone knows that space is very very cold, and the sun is very very hot. so i assume there's a bit of space kind of near the sun which is just right. balmy space

reasons to write fanfiction (I'll start):

share a cool scene that popped into your head

evoke a particular emotion the canon makes you feel

song made you think of a character or idea from canon

make people feel the same way about a character you do

make dolls kiss for fun

explore ideas the canon hints at but doesn't do anything with

traumatize characters and make them suffer

coddle characters and let them rest

had an insane idea for a crack ship and now everyone needs to know

the author of the canon was wrong and must be fixed

use familiar characters to explore your own ideas and plotlines

canon is too short and you need to wallow in the universe of the story

It’s wild being friends with other mentally ill people like understanding and respecting each others symptoms cause you’re the same is an underrated gift

You became the most important person in my life, and that should never have happened. I imagine walking in the forest your name on the tip of my tongue before I can picture anyone else. But it’s just a dream. It’s nothing else. Just movement behind closed eyes.

But I can write it all out here, this quiet madness that has taken over my life and started when I looked at them and the first time ever I saw their face.

I didn’t just have to sit within in my own brokenness, then. I could sit in their fluttering heart. I could feel warm emotions, a nurturing love that was quiet and still and breathed into me. I washed myself in that love, and I imprinted on it because it imprinted itself onto me as well. We mirrored, we reflected, we curled up into ourselves and tucked ourselves into the same wholeness of love that we felt with our entire bodies in reaction to one another. We were so similar that we ate ourselves, our hearts, our smallness.
