Hello!, idk if you'll remember this but i'm the one who sent "could you imagine if habits mate was the lead singer of a band??" And i'm here to hit you with a request for some headcanons!! (Bonus points if their the lead singer of a rock or punk band-)

You could make a Disney movie out of this !! But like an R rated one that they never went full out on so it ended up being shitty ajskdkf

- Habit, as domineering, narcissistic, and controlling as he is, loves strong s/os

- So, someone who can scream their lungs out on stage and still be ready for another performance, who projects loudly and acts cocky on stage

- You two probably met at a packed bar, your band was playing for the night and Habit just happened to be there, trying to get a beer

- He was in a shitty mood. He hates packed places and he honestly hates cheesy bands that play at bars

- But hey, at least the lead singer is kinda cute and it’s a metal-punk kinda bands

- He’s immediately charmed by the way you don’t start off with any bullshit. You state your name, the band members, the band name, and your first song. It’s simple and to the point, and he looks for that in an s/o

- It doesn’t even matter if the music is good or not. He’s already looking for a spot to get into the back so he can talk to you

- He keeps sneaking closer and closer to the back door that leads to the tiny green room that the bar provides, and you make DIRECT eye contact with him and give him a little grin

- He is stunned. You are gorgeous, ethereal, captivating…

- And then you dedicate your next song “to the guy who’s obviously trying to sneak into the green room! Meet me in the back after, big guy” and now he’s furious but also a lil turned on

- But he does meet you, and manages to control his temper, and you ask if he wants to come to your next gig and hand him a flyer

- If he were a sentimental bitch, he’d keep all the flyers you give him for each of your performances. Which he does. He’s sentimental

- I mean he turns it into one of those rolling trays you see on TikTok bc “I have to have SOME place to roll this out” or they’re shoved in a random folder

- After you two officially start dating, your songs take an even more demonic turn because you’re, well, dating a demon

- Habit continues to encourage you to write songs like alt-J, real disgusting murder and true crime kind of stuff

- But even still he religiously attends each of your gigs and is your personal bodyguard, he’s beat the shit out of more creeps at the bar than you can count

- He is, truly, your #1 fan, and he’s not shy to admit it. He’s proud of his s/o and he thinks you’re awesome as fuck

- Habit ran into you and started talking to you while you were in kind of an up-swing, so all he really knows so far is your cute cuddly side

- Which he ADORES. He tries to never show it, and he always grumbles when you cuddle him or do stuff for him, but he really couldn’t live without it

- He’s very smart but honestly a little oblivious so whenever you make jokes or something revealing your low self-esteem, he’s like “haha dark humor yeah”

- He’s a demon. He doesn’t understand not thinking you’re hot shit. And you’re so amazing to him- gorgeous, soft, reassuring- he never had a clue that you give yourself hell

- Until, of course, you have a breakdown

- You ran straight to your room, so he would’ve just assumed you needed some time alone, but he can smell your emotions and knows that you’re beating yourself up and very distraught

- He absolutely is not a gentle person, he doesn’t bother knocking gently on your door and coming to sit next to you, he just throws your door open and basically throws himself on top of you

- He says “I won’t let you go until you tell me what the hell is going on” which, of course, chokes you up again before you eventually admit that you had a thought that he was just messing with you and didn’t actually love you, that he had pulled some long elaborate scheme just to fuck you, etc

- He’s furious

- You’re his MATE which means he is DEDICATED to you whole heartedly, he’s entranced with every part of you, and he’s grown to be addicted to your softness and he hates it but he finally admits to you now that he couldn’t live without it

- That makes you feel a little better, but he’s still going to physically curl up around you like a cat and make this low grumbly purring noise until he can smell that you’re 100% better or until you fall asleep

- From then on, he constantly offers to fuck up the person that made you worried, anytime you give him cuddles he manages a tiny “thank you”, and he puts in tangible work to make you feel comfortable and safe

His eyes widened as he froze. Your pained scream was the last thing he wanted to hear.

“Bunny-“

“No,” you hissed, clenching your teeth in pain. “No you don’t get to call me that anymore. I’m sick of this.”

You held your now broken arm close to your body, face heating in rage and pain.

“You’ve dome nothing but neglect me these last few weeks,” your voice was thick with tears and betrayal, and the scent of your fear was bringing him to his knees. You watched as he knelt in front of you, begging with his eyes for you to listen. “Mate? You use me like a fucking punching bag!”

You stomped you way to the front door, tugging at it and shooting a glare at him over your shoulder.

“Unlock the door, Habit,” you ordered. He shook his head.

“Listen, please-“

“Unlock the door or I’m going to go upstairs and jump out a window.”

His eyes flashed with terror as he made a swiping motion with his hand. He couldn’t lose you, and you knew that.

It didn’t stop you from opening the door.

“I don’t want to be mated to a monster anymore,” you said quietly, knowing he could hear.

You pretended you didn’t hear the pained, howling scream as you closed the door.

Bad Habit

A little torture story since I deleted the other one.

You sit strapped to a chair in the attic. How you ended up there is a mystery, the last thing you remember is a fight with your boyfriend. What you do know is that there is a hairless humanoid figure that circles around with a camera filming your every move. It gets closer & you kick out at it just as the door to the attic opens revealing a man carrying a machete. “Hello there Little Rabbit, how are you feeling? Feeling good? Feeling sassy?” He asks & you mumble a “fuck you” in response.

He touches the flat side of the machete to your chin tilting your face to his. “Answer me Little Rabbit & look at me when you do.” He says growling and you look him in the eyes and say “fuck you Habit”. He grins and walks out of the room coming back holding a knife.

“This baby right here is new, it’s a 8.5 inch tactical knife it’s not too big but it gets the job done. It has a nice serrated edge to it, it’s really good for tearing into meat. Meat like deer or cows” he crouches down in front of you taking the knife & slowly and gently rubbing it down your cheek. “Or sweet human meat like yours.” You look him in the eyes & he leans in closer. “You will taste so delicious Little Rabbit.” He says just as you head butt him knocking him backwards. He gets back up & walks over to you slapping you across your face. “You have fight Little Rabbit, but I will break you & then I will eat you.”

He stomps out of the room closing the door & leaving you in the dark. “Fuck you Habit” you scream and pull at your bindings. “I fucking hate you” you scream again & the door opens up revealing the man himself. He saunters across the room & bends down to meet your eyes. “You know that’s a lie Little Rabbit, you don’t hate me, do you know why?” You look away from those eyes, Evan’s eyes, “right now I’m strapped to a chair in the attic by the demon wearing the man who loves me so I’m not sure of anything anymore Habit” you say emphasizing his name.

“All rabbits have a bad Habit, you just happened to trust the worst one Little Rabbit” he rubs his hand on the cheek that he slapped earlier. “Which was clearly a mistake, you’re going to kill me because of a fight that I had with Evan?” He chuckles darkly, “no my Little Rabbit, I’m killing you because of him, he’s growing too attached to you. Torturing him & keeping him alone is where the fun is in this game.”

A second later you feel a knife drive into your leg & you scream. “Once he sees what he did with these hands, the feeling of your blood covering him, the feeling of biting into your heart. Oh it’ll drive him crazy. He really does love you, he’s scratching the walls right now because he’s locked up. I showed him you tied to the chair. Once I’m done I’ll leave him to see your body here all flayed open. It’ll be glorious.” He says laughing.

You look him in the eyes and say “I love you Evan. Habit pulls out the knife from your leg stabbing it into your shoulder making you scream and cry he slices down cutting your chest and you gasp. He pulls it back out stabbing into your gut & ripping upwards you scream the whole time he cuts you. He stands behind you pulling your head up slicing your throat killing you.

He reaches into your chest & cuts your heart out taking a bite just before leaving Evan’s body. Evan wakes up holding your heart in his hand he looks up seeing your mangled body & screams. The memories of what he has done to you, what Habit made him do to you floods him & he crawls away from you puking at the taste of iron in his mouth. He crawls back towards you crying “I am so sorry baby, so so sorry” he holds your body crying into you as he feels the familiar tingle of Habit pulling him back under. Before his world goes black he touches your cheek again.
