“I expected you to be more cautious. You have people out for your head, do you not?” He wasn’t one of them, but if his name meant nothing to her she had no way of knowing. Cable had done her no favors if her first lesson was not shoot first, ask later. Survival was just that. Survival.
Erik finally did step closer to her. His hands stayed clasped behind his back. “I know what you’re supposed to be. Both sides of the coin. A Messiah I’m not convinced we need, or a murderer I’m not convinced would need to be stopped.” It’s not as if he would weep at the loss of that many humans. If that was her course, she would be doing the planet and their people a favor.
“I want to know what it is about you that’s special, beyond what Scott Summers believes.” He wasn’t ready just yet to say that Scott, Nathan, and the others who’d bought into the fantasy were wrong…but nothing about the girl in front of him leapt out at him and screamed Savior.
“The more cautious I act the more I stick out like a sore thumb.” Hope answered matter-of-factly. “I have people out for my head just as much as the next mutant or anyone with the nickname of savior.”
As he stepped closer, the red head tilted her head. “Listen, you think you know everything and maybe that will be your downfall.” Hope shot back at the man. “In the future where I am from, mutants are locked in camps, beaten and robbed of any kind of thing that can save them. There are collars, worse than now that strip away any sort of power you have. Our kind at that point has basically come to end and I could count the amount of mutants that are out and free using both my hands.” She sighed. “I am not saying I am any kind of Messiah, in fact I rather not be, but if we are going to prevent that future from happening, I’m more than willing to play any part necessary.” She looked down at her hands then back up at his face. “For right now, people believe they need someone who will save them, someone would will give them some kind of hope without creating a war. There are people that believe in me and they are willing to do more than they could have dreamed possible and that is a beautiful thing.”
Deeply inhaling, she shook her head. “A mass murder is not what we need nor is it something I want. But something that may happen if I don’t gain control of all my abilities. ” Hope said sternly. “The future is a lot of possibilities as for right now and you’re right I could certainly become either, or something else quiet entirely. But for right now, I’m just playing the part of a savior.”
“If you must know what’s so special, it’s better that I just show you.” Hope said quietly. “Look at the car, and look at the shipping container. Using your abilities, which I never have before I can make them-” She paused, using Nathan’s earlier lesson, lifted both the container and the car up in the air. “Float and come to us if needed.” Placing the shipping container down, gently lifted the car and brought it to her right side. “I am you, but I am also every mutant within a radius of me, I am also me.” She said simply. “I’m not so sure that’s special, but again if that what the people need to believe than so be it.”

“Well it’s a rarer skill than people think. Though if you want something simple a small cactus or succulent couldn’t be easier to look after, in some case they’ll even flower for you.” He smiled, “And if you’re after something a little more, sturdy I’d again say a cacti. Please, right this way.” he led her a little further into the shop where he kept such plants, “Would any of these be suitable for you both?”
Giving a small sheepish small to the man she followed her further in the store. Something felt very unsettling about him despite his nice act. “I think I like the moon cacti?” She said a little unsure of herself. “I mean it is beautiful, but how do I keep it alive?” She asked.

At the tapping on her shoulder, Jean slowly turned, her hair tossing over her shoulders as she looked down at the younger girl. She’d already heard of some Nate Summers being Scott’s son. Was this another one of them?
“Oh– I– I think you’re mistaken.” Jean told her with a sad smile. At least, she’d hoped she was. How was she to explain some futuristic children to Logan when they were set to have a family of their own?
“Do you need help finding someone?” She asked, figuring the least she could do was help the girl.
As the woman turned around, Hope had finally realized her mistake. She knew she had been drawing straws at even believing her mother in some universe could be alive. A frown crossed the young woman’s face for a second.
“No it’s alright-” Hope said quietly. Although as she studied the women’s features the more and more she recognized who this was. Jean Grey. The green eyes observed the woman’s moments until they finally made their conclusion.
“Wait you’re my grandma?” Hope exclaimed.

“Sorry. I didn’t meant to be rude. It’s just I don’t like to be interrupted when I’m reading” Lorna said with a apologetic smile on her lips and closed the book. “You’re a mutant? Yeah. I teach in the Institute but I give classes out of the Institute”she said and nodded. “Sure! Which day is good for you? I teach them at my home. I live with my boyfriend,Alex,but he works in the evening so it would just the two of us”.
“It’s alright. I hate when people interrupt me reading too. Yeah, I got the mutant gene. I’ve been training with my father, but I think it would be better if I trained some more.” She said quietly. “Can you do Wednesdays? That sounds fine.

“For Odin. Might need stitches? I wonder how did you get this since it’s a lot of bleeding” Sigyn said and put her papers in the balcony desk next to her and motion to the girl follow her to an nursery room. “Come in. I’ll put the stitches on you”.

“For who?” She asked furrowing her brow following the woman to the nursery. “Oh this? I fell off my bike, full speed.” She lied. “Thank you so much.”

Kid followed her gaze and walked over once he’d finished patting down the soil in an orchid’s pot. “Those are Iris kashmiriana, or just iris’ lovely blooms don’t you think? Though they’re a little tricky to cultivate but they’d look lovely in a darker vase.”
Her green gaze turned back towards the male. “They are quiet beautiful. But I must confess I do not have a green thumb.” She said pursing her lips. “It’s actually for an apartment for me and my father. Would you have something that is less delicate?”

Hope wandered into the quaint store. “Why yes. Some flowers would be nice.” She said looking around her. Taking a deep breath in she pointed just to her left. “What are these?”
@summersofhope
The little bell above his door chimed and Kid turned to offer the young lady who walked in a soft smile, “Good afternoon,” his voice as soft as his expression, “How can I help you? Would the young lady perhaps like a small bouquet for her home?” he asked, “Flowers can add such a personal, lovely touch to a living space.”

“I know plenty about your father and not nearly enough about you. Not the you in front of me.” He knew well enough what she was supposed to be. He’d heard plenty of her “potential.” Too much, really. He’d had enough titles himself to realize they were not always what the seemed to other people, yet the girl in front of him had Messiah pinned on her.
Erik didn’t step any closer to her. If he genuinely wanted to scare her he could have, but that wasn’t the intention. “Think of me as a…family acquaintance.” Cable was still operating on outdated notions about Erik’s loyalties and convictions, but that didn’t mean he’d thought enough of him to warn Hope. Not that she needed warned.
“You may call me Erik. But many know me as Magneto.”
Hope tilted her head to the side and furrowed her brows, unsure of what his intentions were. Either way, for now she would play his game. “What’s with the special interest in me?” She asked moving closer to him. It wasn’t that she was afraid of the man. Just curious of who he was.
“A family acquaintance?” She mused once again. “Hm...it’s funny I never heard of you before, Erik.” She said playing with her red locks, a nervous habit that never went away. “But then again Nathan isn’t really much of a talker.” She said quietly.
“So which do you prefer, Erik or Magneto? Also the name Magneto doesn’t leave much room for speculation. ” She said studying the man. “What do you want to know about me? Or should I ask what you heard from the other two Summers about me?”

If you’re going to simply go by the name Stephen, you better be making phenomenal music. Crossfire, luckily, is absolutely phenomenal.

She managed to figure it out faster than he did. The future was strange, but not strange enough that he thought people sold children through TV ads. Maybe they had a couple of years left to go with them. Then again, there were a lot of very long commercials with sad dogs and cats. He was fairly sure that’s how Steve had acquired most of his brood. Bucky has started changing the channel as soon as the music started.
He smiled as he turned back to the television. “You win. Your prize is either the baby or the stick of deodorant. One of those is a lot easier to get.”
Giving the man a small chuckle she shook her head. “I rather get the stick of deodorant way before I ever choose the baby.” She said pushing away the thought of even having a baby. She loved child, she loved to be around them but taking care of a baby was the last thing on her mind at this age.
“I guess that means you get the baby.” Hope said with a little giggle.

“Ops.” Hope said looking at the woman in the door way. Clearly, she was not Scott. “Sorry I think I got my directions all messed up. I was looking for Scott Summers. But clearly you are not him.”

@summersofhope ♥’d for a starter
Betty didn’t leave the lab even for lunch,she just ordered something in the restaurant and ordered to take “home”.She decided to eat in the waiting room since it doesn’t have anything that could contamine her food. She heard a knock on the door and leave her food on the table and go open the door. She opened the door to saw a girl. She smiled politely at the door. “Hm hi. Are you looking for something?”.
