I feel like I'd go Virgo Sun because he's so analytical and like you said, an idealist. Love the Scorpio Moon and I'd go Libra Rising just because this might as well be Barba's character description:

I can’t decide if Barba is a Libra, Scorpio, or Virgo. I’m leaning towards Virgo though, because he has that Virgo idealism going on. Scorpio is just because he has chemistry with everyone, but he’s so reserved, I don’t think he’s Sun/Rising fire sign. Maybe a fire moon/venus? Virgo Rising, Scorpio Moon, Libra Sun?

agree with all of these thoughts and wanted to add that the cross-examination in this episode is one of the biggest things that made me think the writers wouldn't be cowards and would make Barba bisexual, at the very least I found this exchange to be so, so telling of how Jeremy sees Barba as either someone he would normally target (a closeted man) or just someone who gets it: Rafael: So those men, they're gay when it's fun, and then they go back and hide in the closet. Does that seem fair to you? Jeremy: Does it seem fair to you?

And then you have the way Barba uses the word "effeminate" (complete with a limp wrist swing) to goad him into expressing his aggression. While it's a good prosecutor tactic, I always felt it was done way too well - maybe like Rafael's had that word thrown at him before ("little Spanish dandy" anyone?) and knows what it does.

I.

Ok so it is well established that Jeremy Jones (perp) is very good at chosing vics. He sees closeted gay man and not because of ring on finger.

The way he looks at Barba in this scene is very very very sedactive, almost like in his introduction scene.

Does he think about Barba as clotheted? I can't be sure. One I can say with confidence: Jeremy sees him as gay.

(Earlier in episode Jeremy kinda hints on Fin but he just recognised him after he saw him undercover in club.)

Nick and Olivia arguing about assault and the way Barba looking at Nick after hearing that "Murphy would be ok if he was with his family" is very interesting.

(This screens are brighter. I exported them trough videoediting soft because my fingers not fast enough for capturing last 4 frames.)

Why Olivia looked at Barba? She knows something about him? Is she afraid that Nick's words hurt him because they sound kinda homophobic?

And why they show Barba's reaction to Nick's words and emotions? (Yeah pretty fast 1 sec shot but they focused camera on his face).

And what a reaction!

Like Barba suspects something about Nick.

Then Nick goes undercover he dressed very simple and casual unlike Finn. Like he kinda knows what he is doing.

Yeah he is pretty expirienced at being undercover but not as lonely man in gay bar.

Also he isn't nervous like homophobic man would be and later he isn't very aggressive than questioning bartender.

Nick's thoughts about Murphy have a very personal angle. Maybe because Nick is a family man and he don't understand how Murphy can betray them for one night stand or....

Or he knows that Murphy could overcome his desires because Nick doing it every day.
