“you better not ever stop writing unless your hands give out,” she said. “he can donate bras, but he can’t donate his trash to the trash can,” she joked. “uh, no. because remember, if we move in together, you’re moving to my place, i have too much stuff to move and animals.”

“i’d never want it to,” she said. “yeah, you couldn’t even pay me to throw away a victoria’s secret anything. that shit’s pricey. sixty bucks for a bra? that shit better last me the rest of my damn life,” she said. “you just say that to butter me up,” she said with a small laugh. “you can’t lock us in, audrey and sophie have to pee like five times a night.”

“well, i love you too. i love it,” she said. “my bra would be the most embarrassing thing. i’m so small. i hate being president of the itty bitty titty committee,” she said, looking down at her chest for a few seconds. “oh what, so if i’m keeping the little de fazzio’s over night they can’t bring their babies with them? they sleep with them.”

“i didn’t say anything about dolls, but same. that’s some fuckery that i don’t fuck with,” she said. “if you ever pick up anybody’s panties that aren’t mine, you’ll find out just how un-sunshine like i can be.” sunny picked her phone up and sat on the bed, leaning back against the pillows as she listened, a smile on her face. she could listen to his voice for the rest of her life and not get tired of it. “aw... baby you’re so cute,” she said. “i love it.”

i just got off a crazy shift at the hospital hence why i’m just barely a day late, but my ball of sunshine just turned twenty-two years and even though she hasn’t been a part of britt-britt’s and i’s lives for her whole life, we couldn’t be more happier to have been her mamas for the past decade. i’m so so proud of my talented and intelligent daughter and i can’t wait to see where life takes you by the time it’s your next birthday. even though i wasn’t able to celebrate it with you, i hope you had an amazing day <3
