sanji modern au

surprise. hes still a chef.

i plan to go back and redo the previous modern au pages, for a few reasons. i rushed both of them because it was finals season and i was stressed to a medically concerning degree. also, i had originally aimed to cultivate a cleaner style for the au; not only did i have a terrible time doing so, but i also left myself with pages that looked weird and ugly! LMAO (i see them behind my eyelids. they will haunt me until this issue is resolved) so thats my exciting new project i guess. yippee 🎉

here are my Thoughts about this sanji that arent already written on the page:

he still recites recipes and cooking techniques on the fly, like in canon. except here, the straw hats make a game out of it, where they state the most ridiculous ingredients and ask sanji if he could make something edible out of them. it becomes a series on their youtube channel

the straw hats hang out at the baratie so often that zeff gave them access to the office so that they would stop being obnoxious and disturbing the customers

he has hEDS bc i have hEDS and i said so. honestly no other reason. peep the wonky bendy hEDS fingers

i wish i had more hcs for him but alas. i dont think about him that often

ive wanted to draw izou for SO LONG. he rattles around in my brain every now and then, reminding me that he exists, and im like WOAH i gotta draw this guy. and then i dont draw him.

not this time, though—ive taken all my exams and the semester is finally over, so i can have hobbies again!! hallelujah!!

also i realized i had an opportunity to put world government in there after id already written the text and it takes me soooo longgg to write in print so i just. improvised instead. i hate trying to write normal its incomprehensibly difficult
