To create your ocs I recommend learning how to draw yourself (it’s never too late to start and there are free tutorials all over the web) or use the many many character makers the fandom has made over the years. But there are so many you can use. Just type in “cat” and you’ll find hundreds of character makers.

The Warriors fandom has thrived off the backs of real artists for over 20 years. Because of that, many of us hate seeing AI in our community. It feels like a slap in the face to our own creativity. So in short, please stop using AI.

I'm sorry that you feel this way, but I am not sorry for using AI. I have been using it for years now and creating simple images like this has done no harm to fandoms or other people or myself.

I don't mean to be rude, but it's not very reasonable to be offended like this and for this reason, as the characters that I am generating are not yours, neither is the book they are in or the series it is based on.

Also, you have not answered my question. How did you know it was AI in the first place?

I have no intention or desire on causing trouble or drama. If you don't use and do not want to use AI for YOUR characters, then good on you, really. As for me, I do not have the time, materials, or space to learn how to draw right now and I don't know anyone that can draw for me. Neither do I want to take the time to look for someone, as it takes trust, a lot of time, detail and explanation, and sometimes even money. I am not willing to go into that.

If posting AI images on Tumblr is not against the rules and I am doing nothing bad or illegal, then I will continue making and posting these images. I have heard from no one but you in my entire lifetime of this 'slap to the face.'

Once again, I mean no trouble. So I would really appreciate it if we ended this calmly and on friendly terms. I have no intention of starting a debate.

Hello, I'm the person from before! I'm not a moderator and AI generated images are allowed on Tumblr but they aren't viewed very positively. Pictures drawn by many artists online are put into a data base without their permission to be used to generate AI images. This gives AI art a connection with art theft, which is viewed negatively by artists in the warrior cats fandom. It is great that you have an interest in creating visuals for your characters and story! I absolutely encourage you to keep writing and create your own drawings of all the cool characters you've come up with.

As of right now, I don't see much of a risk in me posting my AI images, but if it somehow gets out of hand or receives excessive hate comments, I will stop posting. Real quick, I would like to ask since I am a bit curious; how'd you know the images were AI? I don't think I remember saying they were.

Please don't use AI to generate images. There are a lot of great piccrews and warrior cat character makers to show off your designs for your cats. You can also commission one of the many wonderful artists in the fandom to bring their images to life.

I'm sorry. I didn't realize I was doing anything wrong. Are posting AI generated images against the rules on Tumblr? If so, I wasn't aware and I apologize. And also, I am not trying to trick people into thinking that I drew these images or something, I never said that or made that clear. Are you a moderator?
