Tomorrows the first day

It's my first day trying to do my all liquid diet to get ready for my surgery. Weekends just do not work for me and that needs to change. The next couple of days are going to be hard, and long and full of tantrums and headaches I think. But I'm going to stick to this diet. I NEED to stick to it. I want my surgery to go as well as it can. Tomorrow is all Optifast (with some approved veggies on the side). Let's see how it goes!

My pop is currently signing the petition to not let Donald Trump into the UK ... however you have to be a UK citizen. Which he isn't. He isn't even an American citizen! So he's created a separate email address, and looked up whatever info they required for the petition. When me and my gran asked him why, he said "why not?"

for all those who didn't understand 'sleep no more'

i just rewatched it and realised how wonderfully written it was.

rassmussen (the scientist) planned for everything on the station to be recorded for him to use the footage and create a tape. what he recorded was a story in which he tricked the doctor, clara and crew into believing…well, everything that they came to the conclusion of. none of it was real. it was all a design. clara is not infected, there were no spores. rassmussen was using them as puppets. they were characters in a story that he designed. 

now, the reason he designed this story was so that he could infect us, the viewer. in the conclusion he told us that the infection was in an electrical signal that is transmitted through the tape we’re watching, and that he was going to then distribute it across the solar system so that everyone is plagued by this sleep deprivation illness.

he then rubs his eye and goes on to tell us that rassmussen is dead, and that the person we’ve seen throughout the episode was actually a sandman. he has been transmitting the footage to us so that we, too, create sandmen. this would be so that they can take over the solar system.

Old age headcanon you mean? That’s what’s on the list so I’m gonna give that.

Leslie is fully prepared for when her time comes. By the time she’s 70 and starts feeling like there might be a risk, she has made full lengths videos for all of her friends and family, personalized goodbyes, cherished moments captured on video, and updates them every year just in case. It’s gloomy and she sobs her heart out every time, but she doesn’t want to leave unprepared. Ann’s postmortem video is roughly twelve hours long (Ben’s comes second, with eight hours). It’s a huge video compilation and there’s memories of their grandchildren playing together in the Pawnee Commons, their first bingo competition award won together, their trip through Europe taken together, one last time, in their eighties. What she hadn’t planned, though, is that Ann leaves her first before ever seeing it.
