I imagined them to be like conjoined twins except like....conjoined TRIPLETS.

I haven't got an official design written down, even. I planned for Calix and Terrin's conjoined forms without Sera, though. The two sort of look like the twins from Franbow, except Calix is unable to hear and Terrin is unable to speak. I guess when Sera is conjoined to the two of them, he would be unable to see, like regular Heart. In some drawings, I've drawn him in the middle of Calix and Terrin.

That being said, I also have other versions of them being partially conjoined—more or less having their body parts stitched together, like legs, hands, etc.

yeah.. there's a reason why I haven't drawn that yet.

HI SO let me turn into my narrator voice for this ...

HUGE INFODUMP DOWN BELOW!!!

My crossover AU takes place in a world named Simulacrum. Simulacrum hosts four different realms; the Inbetweens, the Static Void, Purgatory, and Somberspace. Think of these four realms as the afterlife, or like Dante's Inferno. A lot of fictional characters of my choosing come here once they are Cursed.

Purgatory is the most important as Sera and three other characters live there with him in a constant state of limbo, Cursed to be immortal for all eternity.

These three other characters and their original sources include:

Lukas (aka Lus) from Minecraft Story Mode

Shane from Stardew Valley

and finally Cole from Ninjago

Jay (aka Bluebird) ... also from Ninjago ... also makes an appearance in Purgatory, but he's not exactly living there.

they're a bit of a random selection, I know.

All characters in Simulacrum begin life in the Inbetweens (the red dimension). They are subjected to several mutations—which have to be successful—if they are to make it to Purgatory. If you can guess, Lus, Shane, Cole, and Sera sucessfully mutated into different species, whether that be bird or demon, and get to live in Purgatory.

Sera (as Heart from Chonny Jash) once lived in the Inbetweens with his brothers; Calix (Mind) and Terrin (Soul). All three were brutally conjoined to one another until Sera successfully mutated, becoming a bird-like creature. He ascended into Purgatory, unwillingly leaving his brothers behind in the Inbetween. Because of his mutation, he was given the power of flight/wind (they get powers because powers are cool ok!!)

Upon arrival, Sera learns that Purgatory is hosted by a god/king, to which that title is given to Shane, who controls the clouds. The king of Purgatory is claimed to have infinite strength due to ties with the power of creation (a character I haven't drawn and won't draw in the future) who is able to bring characters back and forth through the realms of Simulacrum as they please. It's ALSO stated in Purgatory that it's possible to 'steal the crown' from the current god ... if you're able to kill him correctly.

Ultimately, Sera makes it his own goal to kill Shane however nescessary with his birth-given gun (he's Heart after all) to reunite with his brothers once and for all.

Sera is one of my favorite characters in my crossover AU mostly due to his design process. I made him a bird instead of an angel—hell, his name is even based off of seraphims—sort of because I imagined him as a mother bird, who would hold a wing over his brothers to protect them at all costs.

Unfortunately for Sera in this AU, plotting to steal the throne while deliberately decieving the other characters living with him drives him a bit insane. Sera develops thoughts that his life is constantly in danger. He becomes quite trigger-happy and heavily relies on his gun for safety. He's seen to hallucinate his brothers and hates being snuck up on.

Since Purgatory hosts several different characters, they also get their own mini-realms they inhabit respectively. For Sera, he lives in a vast field surrounding Shane's palace that gives him just enough space to fly and (discreetly) train. He sleeps in a tree to which its branches are covered in sheets and pillows. Sera always carries a photo of his brothers with him, as to not forget their faces.

That's pretty much it for Sera.

LUS is a troubled drunkard in the land of Purgatory. though he poses as a charming and outgoing individual, he's the most insecure. carrying a lot of what he deems as flaws, (being the shortest, not handling alcohol well) he holds a lot of self-hatred. in turn, he acts like he's the best, when in reality he feels the worst.

LUS, resembling a devil with his moon-esque horns and tail, burdens a ton of scars from repeated violence and abuse. upon his eye being gouged out, he wears a diamond eye. he's also missing a thumb. rope burns don his neck and wrists. he carries a spiked bat that reminds him of his lover.

overall, LUS is a hopeless romantic, holding a soft spot for poetry and the moon. he's got a bad habit of drinking wine and smoking at the same time.

SERA's mutation from the inbetweens to Purgatory was pure, painless, and beautiful, like a metamorphisis, nothing like the inbetweens had seen before. having trapped in the middle of his conjoined brothers, he 'fought' his way out, eventually becoming his own vessel and gaining the ability to fly and see more clearly.

resembling a bird more than he did an angel, the family-oriented SERA roams the nearly empty fields surrounding SHANE's palace. he inhabits an isolated tree and calls it his home, quietly surveilling the tall grass up in the safety of his leaves. the fields provide him a perfect amount of space for him to train his flight.

SERA trusts nobody, though he fronts a carefree and naive personality in front of the adults (SHANE and LUS) as a measure of deception.

as a fault, he's very trigger happy and keeps his weapons strapped to his side at all times.
