🐱⯮ the quality of Nix's fur (when it comes to insulation against the cold) has worsened over the years he endured in the GUN compound, so it's quite difficult for him to stay warm, even with a hoodie on. therefore, he's naturally attracted to warmth.

🐱⯮ Cyndaquil kinda looks like a lil hedgehog! although honestly i can still see Comet with something like a Vulpix or Growlithe instead

🐱⯮ either Turtonator or Torkoal would be significantly funnier options; Comet loves turtles/tortoises and the idea of him having any kind of large, intimidating Pokemon in general (which honestly makes Turtonator the funnier option, sry Torkoal) is pretty funny because i personally don't see him actively participating in Pokemon battles-

What inspired you to write Nix?

🐱⯮ it was mostly a desire to see what kind of person Comet would grow up to be if his worst fear (getting captured by the government) did come true. how would he make his way through such a life, and how would he come out in the end?

🐱⯮ i also consider him to be a sort of hard reboot of an extremely old Sonic OC of mind, by the name of Dismal the Hedgehog. he, uhh... really fucking sucked as a character, looking back on it

🐱⯮ in terms of personality and backstory, Nix is an attempt to make a much more enjoyable version of the traumatic backstory-having character, and i think i did a pretty good job :]
