Marvel, memes and a whole lotta fictional father figures // Anti St*rker // Ao3: Superherotiger // I love to write, draw and animate, and I'm always open for a chat! Have a great day!
you came back wrong and i am racked with guilt because i cannot bear to see you like this and i should have let you rest. i loved you so much that i defied death itself but i do not think either of us are happy
Everytime Peter and Tony get into an argument whether big or small, Peter always mumbles an apology right before storming off. He didn't get the chance to apologize to Ben about their argument before he died, And he won't let that happen again. He Won't.
it's funny, I was talking to someone last night who didn't really know what an illustrator was. so when I introduced myself as one, he gave a speech that would've probably gone over well with a gallery artist, but which was precision-tailored to make any illustrator within a 50 mile radius go into eyes-glowing-red kill mode.
his speech was about how there is a difference between craft and art, and how people can practice craft (as in, skillfully execute a painting) without it having any artistic merit.
so I'm someone who gets paid to paint waffles for restaurant menus and dinosaurs for museums exhibits, and AHHHHHH! AHHHHHHH! you can't make art without it being something something you've made. does that make sense? like every illustrator I know has an individual way of approaching any given imagery that is informed by a lifetime of inspiration, and of passive intake of culture, and of the specific mistakes they make because of whatever their particular mass of grey matter deems as important thing to render or unimportant, just fuck it up.
I can make something that is informed by both a century of Canadian print-making and by my own particular neurosis, and it can also be commissioned commercial imagery that I regurgitate without care because I want to pay my mortgage. everything is art, nothing isn't art, art is something sticky and impossible to shake off of you.
anyway he got very wide-eyed and said "I'm sorry if I offended you," so today I feel a bit bad for having gotten so, uh.... excited.
peter, nauseous as fuck but refuses to admit that he feels ill:
rhodey who attended college with tony and knows the exact face he makes when he over does it, glances at peter (who is literally like a carbon copy of tony) and asks on instinct: what did you take?
peter, forcing his stomach to not spew everywhere, trying and failing to act casual: what? nothing. i didn't take anything.
rhodey activating his mom voice colonel voice: peter.
peter: i did what i had to. (reaches into his pocket and pulls out $40) and i won the bet.
rhodey: what did you do?
peter: i drank a gallon on bleach
rhodey, closes his eyes and takes a deep breath trying to process how peter is simultaneously better and worse than tony ever was: why...did you drink a gallon of bleach?
peter: i lost my backpack and needed money to buy a new one. and i cant ask may. shes bought seven over the last two months

“I just,” the kid shifted uncomfortably, “I-I got bit by a drugged up Spinarak, got all these powers: the strength, the healing, the stickiness - all my senses, it’s like they’re dialled up to three-thousand. I get - I under - If Spinarak feels like that all the time - I just…” He trailed off, thinking of how to say it. “I understand what Pokémon are going through now, you know? I’m… like them."

Okay but Erik’s hair is actually white/silver. He dyes it auburn. After one too many debates about physical mutations he lets it grow out. Everyone insists his hairs just changed early.
No one believes him about it being a mutation until they meet Pietro.
SITH! OBI-WAN & ANAKIN SKYWALKER | WHAT IF? STAR WARS
BY ME.
I always liked the idea of Obi-Wan corrupted by the dark side, so i made this. Star Wars really needs a what if show.
Hello everyone! June is only a month and a half away, which means the House of Dadneto event is almost here! Before we get to that though, we'd love to see more of your WIPs and previews for what you've got in store for the event!
If you missed out on our last WIP checkpoint, don't fear! We're running a second checkpoint on the first day of May, so you'll have plenty of time to get your WIPs or previews ready. When you do post, remember to tag this blog @house-of-dadneto so that we can share it with the rest of this wonderful fandom!
You know, that Mythbusters post legitimately changed my life. Before seeing it, I had exponentially more guilt and stress about not being able to sleep, which of course, further exacerbated my inability to sleep.
Now, every time I wake up about three am, knowing I have to get up at 6.45, instead of stressing and panicking about how my day is going to be sleep deprived and miserable, I just tell myself 'Time to activate Mythbusters Protocol' and lie there with my eyes closed safe in the knowledge that I am measurably reducing later feelings of exhaustion.
And when this happens, about 70% of the time the reduction of guilt and stress means I actually do fall back asleep, so all in all instead of getting only three or four hours sleep, I get five to six and a half.
Which y'know, major improvement in health and energy.
