Don't worry fellas, I'm still alive! This account has been a bit dormant for a good chunk of time because... (Idk of this'll matter to y'all but-) I'm pretty burnt out and unmotivated by Lupin for the time being.

I know that there are some old stuff that I haven't seen yet, and stuff that I've already seen that I can publish on this account, but rewatching things over and over again to get my fill has made me a bit ehhhhh.....

I'm sorry if it sounds bad! And the reason I'm a bit unmotivated too because there's also a lack in new content from the franchise as well, and it's been a while since I've seen any news.

I'm mostly active on my main account if any of you haven't seen it already! I post my art there and maybe you can show me a bit of love, since there's a good amount of Lupin fanart you can enjoy too! I'm also getting into older franchises that I grown to love over the years too, so you can check those out too if you wanna!

Hopefully in the long run, something will motivate me, and I'll post on this account again! Until then, stay tuned! 💗💗💗

This movie was a lot of fun to watch! I was surprised that a whole different cast voiced the gang in this one, but the voices were really decent on the Sub, I've heard the bit of the Dub and it doesn't sound right to me imo

The animation in it was really good too! The attention to detail and the many different expressions the characters made were really well done, and the references to older part's and specials at the time were such a good detail too

Also the fact that the same voice actor for Lupin in the sub of this movie also did Lupin II in Zero, very nice comeback lol 💗💗💗

I'm finally back to posting on this blog again!!!

🎉YIPEEEEEE🎉

I had a wonderful time as soon as Zero finally streamed, I was patiently waiting for it to be done and I was not disappointed at all!

I was hoping that they were gonna show young flashback Lupin in pt 6, but I was sad that they didn't, but this silly little series made up for that, and I loved Lupin's bright and cheery personality, and I also wasn't expecting a young Jigen too! Both of them were so cute in this series and I loved the dynamic they had even more with this series!

Sorry for the lack of posts these last couple of days, I've been distracted with so many things, I almost forgot that Tumblr even exists 💀💀💀

But now, I'm finally back! Return the Treasure is actually a really good special in my opinion, and I think the story is really fun! The animation is really good in this one too, and Lupin looks absolutely adorable in it as well! 💗💗💗

Funny that in this one, instead of stealing things, he's on a mission to return already stolen stuff back where they belong under a timespan, or else there's no payoff.

There was a good amount of funny moments in it too, my most notable ones that I like are the scene where Lupin is flying a dinkey plane and they crash, and one where Goemon gets a door slammed into his face by Fujiko lmao

Ngl, there was only a few things I kinda liked about this special, but alas, I felt the story was WAY too rushed the first time I watched it. It had potential, but they were on a deadline so I don't blame them for that.

At least we got Lupin in a black jacket in this one tho! It was a big inspiration to what I had going for a design for him in my headcanon universe. I also really liked how most of the characters looked as well as a lot of the backgrounds too, but that's mostly it. All flash but no bang.

The first part of the story of Jigen betraying Lupin was pretty cool as a big conflict but then after that it just lost me cuz they never told us the real reason WHY he actually did it other than Lupin whispering it to Zeni that sounded just like random blurbs. It also needed more work with the sci-fi part of it PFFF-

But yeah, whose are my two cents for this special lol

I've been rewatching pt 5 as of recent and it's kinda refreshing to me after I've been putting it off for a long while

All of these are from the episodes I like to call the "Albert Arc", since it's it involves Albert spiteing and manipulating Lupin into stealing The Black Notebook.

Ngl I really liked how angry and on edge Lupin was in this arc, which made me appreciate Lupin angst, that's why its my most fave part of the series lmao

Pt 5 was the very first part I started off with when it came to the anime, since it caught my attention more

For me, I really like the Koike trilogy, it's dark and made for a more mature audience in mind but it still kinda has the charm like any other thing in the franchise lol

Lupin kinda looked nice in this special really, but I know this movie is more Jigen centered than anything. I like how this story kinda starts off showing us how Lupin and Jigen are to each other in the Koike-verse

(I don't really like the parts with Fujiko and that giant robot tho so I try to skip them to the best of my abilities hshdhdg)

Its been a bit since I've seen this special too, but what I remember from it, it was actually really nice too! All of the Lupgang was really nice looking and pretty true to the original Monkey Punch designs!

Zenigata on the other hand...... 😬😐

But anyway! Oleander (the npc woman of the special) was very pretty and her little side story was actually interesting, and I had a bit of a crush on her PFFFF-

Sorry for the lack of a post yesterday, I was having a bit of an off day and didn't feel motivated to post anything, don't worry I'm doing fine now, but at least now I'm back!

This one is also a really good special! I absolutely loved the story and I'm surprised of how much Zenigata got to shine in this one! And also poor Jigen having a constant tooth ache and Goemon missing his comfort item (Zantetsuken) in it as well lmao

Lupin was pretty cute and also very dumb in this special as well PFFFF-

This special was good too! It was funny and the story was actually quite nice to follow!

I was surprised if how much Jigen showed his eyes in this one, but it was funny tho lmao

Goemon also had a decent amount of screentime in this one! I've come to realize that he doesn't really get to shine that much when it comes to a few movies

The style of the characters in this one are silly, really captures the essence of the >:3 in Lupin lol

Sorce: Lupin The Third- The Columbus Files (Aka: Fujiko's Unlucky Days)

This one was a pretty interesting special, the story actually was pretty neat, despite a couple of scenes like at the very beginning and somewhere in the middle

The premise of this special is that Fujiko suffers amnesia due to a pretty big accident, wiping her memory and making her a completely different person. Pre-accident, she was the only one who knew the secrets for unlocking a certain treasure called the Columbus Egg, thanks to the Columbus files.

Lupin and this girl named Roseria try to help Fujiko to jog her memory back but some baddies wanna steal her away too so hijinks ensue. Its also the origin of the scene where Goemon is performing "CPR" on Jigen lmao

Liked the style of this special too! The Lupgang's designs were pretty good 💗

Sorry for the late post, I was out and about and got really distracted lmao

I actually liked this OVA, despite the weird scenes with Mr. X and Fujiko shsgshhshs

I really liked the callbacks to part's 1 and 2 in it, and the concept of Mamou teleporting Lupin to the past to change it to break up the gang was WAY more better than what was going on in Elusiveness of The Fog pfff

It was also really nice seeing pt 4 styled Lupin in his Green jacket and red pt 2 jacket fit lol

I don't really remember that much about this one either, something about this girl named Becky who has (you guessed it) a swallowtail butterfly tattoo who works for some kinda syndicate and she actually stole Lupin himself and the syndicate made him steal a gem inside a bull statue or else Fujiko dies?

Yeah that's probably all I remember lmao

I should rewatch this one sometime soon, there was a nice tiny smigen of Lupgoe in it that I remember too vssvsvzvsshdbd

PoTP is my #1 favorite TV special the franchise has to offer so far! I really like the plot, the story-specific characters and definitely the character designs!

This specific version of Lupin mainly influenced the way I draw and interpret him in my head mostly

He was very expressive and fun in this story, and I mostly liked his dynamics with the rest of the gang, expectually with Jigen and Goemon

I definitely recommend this special if anyone hasn't seen it yet!
