What if a noob wants to join? How would I know if I'm good enough for your studio? Where can I learn to improve my skills?

Hey! We’re really glad you want to join our group, all of us who are in SNS have started with knowing absolutely nothing about an editing software, and I think it’s safe to say that most of us are self-taught editors who do it as a hobby.

This actually is a really hard questions to answer with no right or wrong answers, everyone has a different outlook on what is ‘’good’’ editing and what isn’t. If you audition some day, the leaders (I’m not one of them btw) can give you personal feedback on your edits if you want to, even if you wouldn’t get in, so I’d highly recommend doing that whenever the chance pops up for a more personal answer!

But here are some of my personal tips (I tried to get some answers from other members but they didn’t reply :( )

Take inspiration and learn from others!This one explains itself, don’t be afraid to ask others for help. It usually happens automatically though.

Experiment! When you think you’ve gotten some sort of a hang of editing, I highly recommend doing this. Just go outside of your comfort zone! Aside from all the stuff you’ll learn learn from trying to edit with different styles & songs, you’ll also realize what you like doing and don’t like doing.

PRACTICEThis is quite an obvious one. No one learns how to edit overnight, so don’t give up and keep on practicing!
