Also designed a little notepad case for Hayden. Initially he didn't use the wand too often (after his immortality accident his magic is all over the place, so he can't be 100% sure that the casted spell would work as he intended), though as time went he got worryingly attached to it. Still, Hayden prefers to use sigil magic, because it allows him to be in complete control over how the magic would behave.

Some random facts:

Hayden is a great craftsman who likes to create things: from elaborate magic artifact to everyday necessities

The enchanted green crystal is not a natural one, but something that Hayden created while mixing a drop of his blood in the process. That way only Hayden can actually open the case

It's not like this case and notepad are expensive that it has to have some magic protection, but it's a matter of principle. People shouldn't even think about stealing something that belongs to him (Hayden is rather possessive of his stuff or of something that he thinks should be his)

If someone steals his notepad case, the thief would be cursed by not being able to let go of it. Hayden would be able to sense thief's location (direction and approximately how far the thief is)

Sometimes Hayden would just focus on other things, letting the thief suffer for days
