I feel myself missing him, closing my eyes tight I remember why it’s like to be in his arms. What it feels like to feel his breath on the back of my neck. Feeling our fingers intertwined with mine as he pulls me to his chest. That was before he started to slept with his back facing mine. Before the excuses of why he wouldn’t be coming, before the ignored text. Before the forward calls. He deleting my our pictures on his social media accounts, before deleting my declaration of love publicly off his page leaving me broken. The proof that I was nothing to him while he was my sun, moon and every star in the universe. I remember all the blood stained tears that ran down my face. The pain of him being ok with it all set fire to my body; burning me alive. Dead inside as I lay here as a corpse. I wish it was enough to keep me from missing him and wishing things would have been different. No longer able to humiliate myself any longer is the only thing keeping me from calling or text him.
