Hey everyone! I’m excited to be getting back into book reviews post-grad school. While I was expecting to only read 30 or so books this year, I’ve found myself hitting 50 as of the beginning of September! I hope you enjoy the magical book I’ve got for you today and as always, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

HI ALL!

Sorry I’ve been soooo MIA lately. I’ve read a bunch of books, but no time for reviews between grad school, a new job, and trying to move over a six month period. BUT I did get another box from Influenster, so I’m taking a couple minutes to share it. As is usually the case, I got this product complimentary for testing purposes but you all are stuck with hearing my own honest opinion.

The products sent were two shades of the 24-hour super stay lip color from Maybelline. I received the Constant Toast shade, which I would say looks more neutral on me and is an every-day kind of look. I also received the Keep Up The Flame shade which is great for classic looks, business events and evenings.

I was interested to see how these lip colors lasted since they claim “24 hour stay”. They weren’t kidding. They stay so well that you had better hope you don’t accidentally color outside your lips when you put it on because it’s terrible to remove!  Even after 12 hours, I had a hard time removing either shade with makeup remover. UGHHHH!

But at the same time, my inability to remove color was great! I wore the Keep Up The Flame shade for an all-day business meeting. I drank and ate as I normally do and the color didn’t budge.

I’d recommend this if you really do want a product that won’t leave your lips. If your lips are prone to drying, this probably isn’t a good product for you.
