hey sorry for the radio silence! the queen takeover took more of my deltarune roleplay juice than i initially thought, i ran out of steam to run this blog quite quickly...

i have absolutely no doubt this blog will return though. i'm always gnashing my teeth and clawing and begging for any chance to write these characters and this is a place to do it infinitely. it's a dream come true!

noelle... she's a tough nut to crack, huh? too good at internet safety to get any real juicy information of her... but if you feel so inclined, she has a few weaknesses that can get her to spill! just be aware that once it's spilled out, you can't put it back in. not without some help, anyway...

of course, you can also choose not to frighten her. eventually, someone else will be given control of the blog; things will stay fresh either way. and maybe she'll come back under different circumstances!

This isn't something I've really thought about before... I use ones like X) XD XP a lot, but I also like :3 because it's a little kitty face. So I think my favorite is X3! (Even though I basically never use it X3)

Oh, I think the Dragon Blazers developers did one of those! A while back, they added a bunch of weird links and pages to the website... you can still see them today, actually! I made a post explaining it in detail... is it anything like that? :P

You were talking about creepypastas earlier- You have a favorite?

No worries! ^_^

I really like the Dragon Blazers "Snowgrave" creepypasta. If you haven't read it, the basic gist is that Dragon Blazers has an obscure alternate story path id you do a very specific sequence of events.

Basically, when the Cleric first joins your party, you have to go around defeating every enemy using only Iceshock.

Then, when you fight the Bard, you'll have a new spell actually lets you KILL them O_o and if you use it, the Cleric leaves the party early and the whole story gets set on a much darker path.

...Okay, it sounds really edgy when I put it like that XD but it's good!! I promise!! You should read it! You can find it here if you're interested :3

It still has the same ending though - I guess because Dragon Blazers II stars the Cleric, so they can't make it too different. But Dragon Blazers II also has the Bard, even though they die in this story... Think they might have forgot about that XP

I don't think it's that strange. Some people theorize that the reason we have dreams at all is to give our brains a chance to work out the things we're stressed out about or afraid of. Kind of a "test program" where you can face your problems without real consequences. That's why it's so common to have dreams about taking a test you didn't study for and things like that. Maybe your subconscious was trying to get you to face your fear.

Ralse only??! That's insane. I didn't think you could even do that.

It was SOOO difficult XD I spent so much time just healing, and I had to save all of my thunder potions for the Sea Serpent, because Ralse isn't able to hurt it...

There's actually glitch that lets Ralse learn any of the other characters' spells, but I didn't know about it at the time XP That would've made my life a whole lot easier... XD Buuut now I can say I beat it without cheating! :3

do you have any interests in speedrunning or challenge runs? Or video game creepypastas?

Speedruns are interesting! I don't really do them myself, but I have some friends who do! Speedrunning and glitch hunting are pretty similar. Both are about pushing the game to its absolute limits X) Speedrunners and glitch hunters go together like milk and cookies :3

As for challenge runs... they're not my main focus, but I've done a few of them! Mostly Dragon Blazers challenge runs. You can find a post about my Ralse-only run here!

I imagine I'd do a lot more of them if I knew how to mod Dragon Blazers, but I'm too scared of getting a virus trying to download one lol...

And about creepypastas... This might sound weird, but I think they're actually a lot more believable than people give them credit for. (Or, well, most of them, anyway XD I don't think video games can literally kill people XP) After all, I've had my fair share of weird experiences with games that don't seem to have an explanation. Actually, squeaking of fears...

Remember that post I made yesterday about that weird dream I had? (I still want to talk about that, by the way! I'm working on writing down everything happened, but it's a LOT, so it might take a while... feel free to ask me questions in the meantime!) Anyway, there's something else that's weird about it.

So, in my dream, I was walking through a big city with K. There were these puzzles we had to do to progress, where we had to help a bunch of mice get from one mouse hole to another. (It makes more sense in context, I swear XP)

Now, you might remember that I'm afraid of mice. So K was the one doing these puzzles, because I didn't want to be anywhere near the mice - but, honestly, it might have been better to just have me do them, because K just kept intentionally sending the mice DIRECTLY to me to scare me! Unbelievable!

There was even one puzzle where if they failed, I would get dumped into a PIT of mice! It was awful!

The thing is, after being repeatedly exposed to mice up close, I eventually stopped being scared of them? In fact, I even started to think they were kind of cute!

But what's weird is... now that I'm awake, I'm still not afraid of mice! That's not normal, right? I've had dreams about getting over my fears before, but they never affected reality!

Again, if anyone else has ever had a dream like this, PLEASE sign my guestbook and let me know! I'll give you 100 cheasy points!

...Um, don't take this as an excuse to send me MORE bug pictures, though! XD Just because someone repeatedly scaring me with mice made me get over it, does NOT mean I'm willing to do it again!
