A Witch’s Journal
Tumblr media
Although I do have a grimoire, I use a journal to track my day-to-day practices that I do not usually include in my grimoire. A witch’s journal is a great place to record your feelings and discover any repeating symbols that you may not have noticed if you hadn’t written them down.  It is a great way to look through and see how much your craft has grown.
Things you could include:
Dreams and visions with any interpretations you have
Day-to-day magickal practice
Symbols that may seem important
Astral protection experiences
Meditation  journeys
A list of books you read and any important magickal teachings you learned from them
Progress of any castings or “spell tracking”
Magick Workings
Events and decisions in your life that affect your magickal workings
Magickal goals and plans
Maintenance and home cleaning/cleansing
Daily rituals or habits
Astrological events and any symbols or visions you may have received that are connect to the event
Things to include in each entry:
The moon phases
Weather
Date
Emotion
Position of the moon in the zodiac
Season
Time
Another short post but I hope it may inspire some people.
May the moon light your path

6 Journal Games For When You Don't Feel Like Writing.
Trying to keep a journal, but not in the mood to write? Here’s six games that will challenge your creativity without challenging your writer’s block.
1) Names: write a person’s name for every letter of the alphabet. The more common a name is, the better. For an extra challenge, write different alphabets with girls, boys, and neutral names.
2) Word association: write down the first word that comes to your head. Then, write down the first word that the original word makes you think of. Do the same for the word you wrote second. For example, if you wrote ‘dog’ you might think 'bone’ which might make you think 'skeleton’ etc. Continue the chain until the page is full.
3) Goals: write your dream job at the top of the page. Then, write the job that comes before it underneath. For example, if you write 'president’ then underneath you would write 'vice president’, and 'state governor’ under that. Continue this until you reach a job that is available to you. Now you have a career path!
4) Animals: create new names for animals based on their functions and appearance. For example, 'cow’ might be 'horse brick’, or 'penguin’ might be 'snow chicken’.
5) Understanding: describe a person who you hate and list their actions that have made you hate them. Under each action, write what they could have done instead. Think about why they didn’t do the things that you’ve written, and write down possible reasons.
6) Self: Draw a Venn diagram with three circles. Lable these 'public’ 'private’ and 'with friends’. Then, write adjectives that describe the way you act and feel in each situation. Briefly describe why you think the circles might have different words.

ways to start feeling again
sit in the sun without anything to do, feel the heat of the rays hit your skin, realize that this sunlight has travelled a very long way to reach you
walk around barefoot and try to feel as much of the ground under your feet as you can, notice every rock and blade of grass
sit quietly for a while and notice the touch of breath in your nostrils, feel how the air gets cooler as you inhale and warmer as you exhale
drive around aimlessly and blast some of your favorite songs, scream/sing along to them and feel the vibrations of your favorite lyrics as they change the air in your throat and around you, feel that the music is healing you from the inside out
stay away from alcohol or drugs for a few days, try to be as aware and present as you can in every moment, stop trying to numb or dull your senses
eat a few meals without any distractions, notice every bite and taste every flavor that covers your tongue, be grateful for it all
look up at the stars and the moon, understand how small we all are and how immense the universe is, realize what a miracle everything is, let your heart swell with amazement and admiration for life itself

Ok I’m going to be honest, I was supposed to start the challenge this month but I won’t, I think I’m not ready, I’m focusing on create new habits and the challenge makes me feel a little pressured, so yeah, maybe later.
In other news I love my new desktop, it’s all pink (Just like my bujo) For my desktop background I just edited @emmastudies‘s calendar wallpaper and added a Mamamoo’s Solar (her birthday is this month) picture, so all the credits go to Emma <3
The only big problem I had today is that I couldn’t do the things I was most excited to do because I realized I don’t have enough ink in my printer ;-; so sad

3 Little things I learned in 2017 that I NEED to remember this year
Hello people! I hope you are having a really nice time ^-^ Today I want to share some things I learned in the hard way last year and I think will be important in 2018, especially thinking this is my last year in school and I want it to be the best! I know they seem obvious but they’re not always so obvious like you think
1.- Quick and easy to understand is more important than pretty
I remember last year, so into studyblr that I wanted to make my notes cute and beautiful while I wrote them. Such a big mistake! I used to think “hey, if I write them pretty now I won’t have to rewrite them later”,but believe me, it just doesn’t work. When I had to rewrite them to make summaries (that’s the way I study) I was like “and now how I make them even prettier for them to catch my attention”. That’s not mentioning all the times I didn’t write important things ‘cause I was wasting my time making cute titles
A tip for u and for myself: Keep it simple, and in a way you understand it. If you want it to catch your attention u can use color to highlight some points and many things, but please DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME TO MAKE YOUR NOTES LOOK PRETTIER.
2.- Don’t waste your time during classes
I know it may be boring but please, use your time wisely. Those boring biology questions worth it, those many math exercise worth it, and you never know when the teacher will say “oh, and it has points for your test if you finish the activity”. I lost so many of these because I hate maths and no no, please don’t be like me. When I started to do those math exercise that the teacher gave me, I immediately started to notice some difference too, and not only maths, every subject changed
Something that can make things change: Realize that if the teacher is asking you that specific kind of question is because maybe the answer is something important that you will have to remember later for the exam. Let this thought motivate you.
3.- You have to study and be responsible in every subject, especially the “easiest”
To me, there’s no worst thing that having a bad grade in english, the problem is that even I trust myself too much sometimes. Also, I have to be honest, I have good grades but I know they could be better if I put the same effort in arts and philosophy as in history or biology, you don’t know how important is every subject, even if it’s just to have better grades.
A little tip for you: Ok, I know you hate every single subject in school, but take advantage of that one that you don’t hate too much like the others, it doesn’t matter if it’s literature of PE, just do it.
So... yeah, that’s all, remember that those are things that I learned and tips that would maybe work for me ^-^ and that I obviously hope that work for you :3 Hope you have a good day and if you got here reading me, remember that I love u and u can send me an ask and a message if u need someone to talk to ^-^
All the love
.-Hope
