In November of 2018 I started knitting a hat and today I finally finished that hat. Why did it take me so long? Procrastination. I was trying to figure out how to knit an owl pattern on both the rim of the hat (that part was easy) and one large owl in the main body of the hat (that one was what I procrastinated on for so long). ... A few years ago I bought a Knit Picks Alpaca Cloud sampler pack. It came with 6 different shades of colour that were absolutely beautiful. I didn’t have a planned pattern for it so the yarn just sat there. Last year I finally decided to at least wind it in order to force myself to find something that could potentially work as a pattern. Now that some things are being put on hold for the time being I am able to catch up on some projects and I’m final able to tackle my yarn stash. ....... Since I can’t find a pattern that I like I’ve decided to create a summer sweater. There has been a lot going on with life these days. With isolation rules in place it’s hard to get out to shoot the things I love or even discover new things.
