Sometimes when he wakes up in the middle of the night when he's spending the night over at clockwork castle, instead of going back to sleep Brighton takes the moment to sketch out of picture of Twila while she's sleeping

Aww, Brighton just wanting be loving and affectionate to her is really sweet. She probably feels extremely secure and safe when he's like this.

Sure, she has staff and all, but it's nice when she can be herself around him.

I like how this can apply to both stories, but this is on a much stronger scale than the other. He can probably imagine how much stress she's going through and sometimes he feels like all she wants to do is come home in peace and being loved on.

She'll eventually grow to love this very, very much. No sex needed, just wanted to be kissed and loved on. This will definitely come in handy on her bad days, and could see her returning the favor when he's having a bad day.

Oh how Brighton wants them both to stay like this all the time, but alas, it's impossible.

Her having a dreadfully long and tiring week, doubting her abilities at her job and feeling like she's not very good at this.

Then visiting him, and he's more than ready to scoop her up and cuddle together like this. He's not much of a writer or poet, but he will whisper loving words to her as he kisses and holds her. Can't have her upset like this.

Never fails to make her melt and relax in his arms.

I would argue that she would still cook and bake, but it's only for him. Probably when it's just them two, too. When she does cook/bake, it's because she flat out wants to. Sure, she can ask the chefs to cook him food, but she doesn't see anything wrong getting a ego boost when she herself cooks for him.

I think Twila would still want to do things herself, even if she's a princess. I just don't see her being super lazy and having everyone else do stuff for her.

Sounds like Brighton is really happy to have her as relaxed, casual good girlfriend when she isn't in the spotlight.

Maybe she's not very good at it at first, but seeing how much Brighton likes sweets she starts practicing more so she can make him stuff.?

One of Brightons favorite things to do is to just lay in bed with her, both nudes. No sex or anything, he just wants to hold her. And kiss her. And adore her.

And kiss her all over to find out where she's the most sensitive, but that's secondary.

Her laughing. And not the practiced laugh taught to her growing up that she does when around "politie company", no, her actual natural laugh that occasionally has a snort in it

I could see Twila melting when she finally sees Brighton dressed for royalty. "Damn, he looks good. Too good." Or have a wide smile on her face. Maybe even blushing.

On another note, Sunfolk can do fire dances. Also looks like something Twila and Selene would do, but end up getting hurt from doing so.

A life of being a princess taught Twila how to keep her composure but she's struggling when he steps out from behind the curtain in his royal outfit.

How dare he looks so sharp and handsome in that? Nice.

You know, this makes me think that this sex thing right now is a little bit one sided, though Twila doesn't realize it. She's having so much fun and decompressing, I can see Brighton being really reluctant to tell her to take it easy, at least until he gets hurt and is she has to stop.

But then she'd feel really bad about hurting him, and she wants to profusely apologize and make up to him because hurting him is the last thing she wants to do.

Maybe this will get her to take it easy on him. Maybe she will be inclined to see what Brighton prefers in the bedroom? Doesn't seem like he's into spicy things as much as Twila does this time around. Maybe he wants things to be more romantic and sensual?

Not that she's doing a bad job or that he isn't enjoying spending time with her like this, but the boy can only take so much, ya know?

He loves how enthusiastic she is and how much she's enjoying herself, and the view is great, too, but he's gonna die

A well tailored suit can do wonders.

But it's not like she do it in secret, tailors would need to take his measurements to make sure it fits right.

But if it'll make her happy then I don't see him putting up much of a fuss about it

I like to think that after the staff gives him hints that he has a chance, he starts flirting lightly/subtly at first to see if she reacts, and progresses to where it's more obvious. Maybe when he finishes the portrait is when his flirting is obvious. If he can get her to blush, he'll smile widely, which causes her to smile widely back and blush even more. >:)

He still has that charisma that makes even a very powerful moon fall for him.

On another note, i respect artists that make phhsical items of obscure stuff because Nintendo sure as hell won't.

I have a keychain with the star spirits, too. From the same seller. Forgot I had it since I have a lot of keychains.

The staff not so subtly dropping hints to help him, though.

That portrait is going to take a while because he's being extra critical each step of the way. He wants it to be perfect and he keeps seeing ways he can do it better. Not that either of them are complaining, it's more reason for them to spend time together.

And more chances for him to flirt with her, he thinks she's very cute when she blushes, gotta have more of that.

Teach her how to throw fists at girls when she gets older – she’s going to need it when it comes to catty, obnoxious women bullies.  (Let’s be honest, women can be brutal in the most horrendous ways possible.)

Can’t really see Twila showing bias, and if she does, it’s 100% unintentional.  Same goes to Brighton.  She can’t help it if she’s doing the things she loves doing with Selene, and Selene loves it right back.  Twila is just doing her best, and finally being able to do moon stuff is liberating  to Twila.  I think Brighton would try help out with this, but I’m not sure how much help it would do.

 I can even see Twila taking Selene somewhere cold and full of snow, where they would probably have the most intense snowball fight ever – the one where you get hit with one, you instantly freeze.  Of course, Twila would have to break her out from ice, and she would have to break herself out of ice.  Selene is in danger because Twila is probably brutal in snowball fights, almost merciless.  No, but Selene is probably having the time of her life – the cold weather feels amazing to both her and Twila.

But after all of that, they just have fun in the snow.

Could even see Twila taking Selene to a beach and teaching her how to swim, and see the other world underwater.  I like to think moons can be underwater for a very long time.

Maybe even take her to spooky places and towns. Love to think Moons love Halloween energy.

Unfortunately, this would make Stella insanely jealous not just of the genuine part, but not being able to partake in either of the above without getting hurt over small stuff like snowfall.  Could even see Brighton being particularly jealous at the swimming part because I always thought he loved seas and oceans, but he can’t really be in regular water.

This would, in turn, make Twila feel extremely bad.  A tricky situation.  No win battle.  Unless she has magic to where she can protect the suns from water/snow damage, then she’s out of luck.

Makes me wonder if suns bond better with suns, and moons bond better with moons?

Could see Brighton dreaming about all four of them being able to play in the snow and water.

When Brighton notices it, it’s ALL OVER.  He’s thinking, “FINALLY, there’s something I can bond Selene with that I actually know about!”  He takes advantage of this opportunity and really helps her out.  Hopefully Twila doesn’t see it, or it’s just going to be the Hyperpigmentation video all over again~

Oh, but unfortunately, when Twila teaches Selene spray painting, it’s all over then.  Brighton has lost Selene over Twila’s cool energy antics and Selene would want to use spray paint over Acrylics…  Or is it?  She’ll balance both out.

I’m sure there are more opportunities for Brighton.  Cue a frustrated sigh out from him, since he isn’t too big of a fan of spray paint.  xD

you're right, Twila's not doing it on purpose, it's just an unfortunate circumstance of it all. THere's stuff that she and Brighton can go do that she and Selene can't (like swimming in lava or visiting super hot places for example).

She'll do her best to make up for it, though. it might not be something like swimming or going anywhere with too much of a temperature extreme, but there's got to be something the two of them can bond over, or at least enjoy. Even if it's spending 'girl time' together.

moon and sunfolk bonding better with each other, that makes sense since initially they have more in common given them more things to bond over. it's not a hard and fast rule as Brighton and Twila are proof of that

I'm assuming Twila didn't have magazines or toys around to indulge herself, did she? I'm assuming she didn't really indulge herself at all, which is why her urges are really strong.

Twila has to be the first one suggesting this in the AU. I see Brighton being either being completely oblivious or it's way back in his mind that he doesn't show it out of respect for her.

Though I could see Twila fighting these feelings at first. Why should she feel this way? Then when she realizes that she can't fight them, she feels defeated over it at first, but grows to accept it. She ends up confessing this to him, but not without feeling embarrassed and even blushing.

I can see him being completely surprised how unhinged his dear moon actually is in the bedroom. He's very surprised that she's suggesting it first, of all people. How could this be? She's suppose to be so composed, yet she's so flirty and seductive when it's just them two alone?

But hey, when it does happen, it's one of the best nights they have ever had, and they both feel so much better. She's definitely snuggling up to him afterwards, even thanking him even for satisfying her.

But she's in danger when he's turned on and wants to take over eventually.
