I like to think Brighton was able to do a decent job on that painting that Twila loves it and she'll be back for more. She might even give him a great commission/tip.

I don't think Twila's personality changed much when roles are reversed. Same with Brighton. Staff... I don't know if they're the same type that would hope Twila finds a loved one or not. She's not exactly searching for one, per se.

Lol, "for protection". She can very well much defend herself. Maybe the staff are pickier as to whom she hangs out with?

oh yes she very much loves the picture, having something that portrays her as silly and not uptight and stiff and boring is very refreshing. she has to come back to this funny artist each summer for a new one.

The staff still care about her, they've watched her grow up after all. And they know that she doesn't need their protection; she's still very strong and can defend herself. But by their contracts a few of them do have to accompany her during public outings. (though occasionally they turn a blind eye as she walks off and does her own thing.)

Her personality is the same, it's just hidden from the public. Perceptions and images and all that. Moon rulers are rare, can't do something that'll make them think she's unstable, which she hates with a passion.

on these vacations she usually wears something inconspicuous, a short white dress comes to mind when she gets a drawing of her done by Brighton.

Brighton doesn't know she's the reigning Princess. He doesn't keep up with news or politics.

She'll ask is he draws other things, and eager to show off, he'll show her his entire portfolio. Thats when she asks him to paint her portrait. It's something she's been meaning to get done, and she'll pay him handsomely.
