part of my new story:

Maisie awoke once more. It felt as if she would be forever waking. Maybe that was true...

She sat in a corner of a dull, pale-white stained room. The only item in the room was a stapler with three staples in it, Maisie threw it. Had she been jailed? After all, she had no choice! It's not like she wanted to wake up here.

Suddenly a jolting pain hit the right side of her waist. After taking off her pyjama top to investigate, she saw an oozing wound from the rope ties. Pain wretched through her body. The intense injury was only going to worsen, so she found her slightly broken stapler and...

Click, Click, Click.

"AAAUURRRRGGHHH!" Maisie wretched with pain. The blood seeped faster through and then, stopped.

Maisie continued to groan. As you can tell, she is not the one to hanle pain.

She groaned once more, then. Stopped. Putting her bodily noises to a rest.

She stepped up, eager to investigate this very profound room. It smelt of cabbage, but more so like rotten cabbage that had been left out in the sun. The paint on the walls was plain white, could be said to be cream white. The flooring was just the same, cream plain white. The room was about the size of a classroom with a vent in the top right corner. Way out? Is this an insane asylum? Maisie thought to herself. The thought hung in her mind, she decided to put a pin in it and think about it later...

Out of nowhere, the room began to shake, intensely. The broken stapler flew through the air. Maisie fell to the floor, thwacking her head on a wall on her way down. Blood began gushing from her head. Hands on scalp, she stood up once more before falling back down, harder this time.

That vent! It was her way out! Maisie sprung upwards, room still shaking, she lept for the vent! All of a sudden - the room, in under a second - completely turned over, other side now. The ceiling, was now the floor. Maisie fell flat on her back, gaining whiplash from the fall. She heard a crunch, it was her spine.

Desperately, she yanked off the vent, unsuccessful. It was screwed on, tight. The room turned over again. Maisie held tight onto the vent wall and began levitating, room still shaking. Her body felt weak yet she was determined to get out. Her fingers let loose. Her body let go. One final smack. She was punched to the other side of the room, this was not her ending...

She groaned, got up and ran to the vent, now on the floor, she lept into it. Forgetting the vent barrier, she accidentally pushed face first into a metal wall.

CLANG

It broke open. Maisie fell straight down, full speed, going down. The room must have changed sides again as Maisie completely stopped, mid free-fall, and began, not free falling face-first but foot-first the other way. That momentary pause affected her body in so many ways. She was sent back, flying the other way, down back into the room.

THUD

Her body crashed against the floor and then the shaking stopped, but what was soon to come, was far more deathly.

Finally, the True King has arrived in London, vowing to rule with great humility.

At any rate, me and Nevis had a little trip to the capitol. Obviously lots to see in London - maybe some day we'll go back for a guided tour of some sort. On this occasion I've experimented with taking photos with Nevis in the frame, then ones having moved him to the side, later layering and using a background eraser tool. We took in the following sights:

The Globe Theatre, The Tower of London (there were loads of kids around there on school trips, obviously more excited to see Nevis than anything else). We stopped by Australia House so Nevis could get a little taste of his ancestral home, and then visited Sherlock Holmes on Baker Street.
