I want to talk about a scam that's been going on for a while now. So many people are blind to it because they're too trusting and misinformed.
If you're buying from dropshippers, it's definitely just dyed quartz or a synthetic stone. The hematite you bought off Etsy, Instagram, or someone's online store is most definitely synthetic. These people will claim they work with providers who guarantee that the stones and crystals are real. They buy the synthetic crystals in bulk for cheap and jack up the prices to sell to uninformed buyers.
You absolutely will not be getting genuine Jade for only $3.67 +shipping and handling. Real malachite can be very expensive so that $2 malachite bracelet that claims to be 100% natural malachite is fake. Opals can cost in the thousands per carat.
The claims these sellers make about their crystals and gems being genuine are false. Please do your research before you buy.

GOD im so tired of fear mongering in the witch community, like PLEASE stop telling people to be afraid of rocks or tools or shit you found in the fucking woods.
"Don't let others look into your scrying mirror"
I will show whoever tf i want because I worked hard making it myself
"Cleanse a pendulum before use or bad spirits will come through"
LIES. The world doesn't fucking revolve around you or me, its very uncommon for energies to randomly harrass you.
"Protect yourself before every ritual OR ELSE"
NO. I will cleanse with smoke and say "no negative energies welcome" AND THAT IS ALL.
Just like in real life, things aren't out to get you! Treat spirits like people, most don't give a fuck about what you're doing. Protect yourself when you feel it is necessary. And yes, sometimes a negative energy might randomly latch on to you and make you feel sick for a day. BIG FUCKING DEAL. I feel like being afraid of every unknown magical energy is the same logic as being like "everyone in my life is going to hurt me." Its unrealistic. Relax.

If you've ever been to the south, you've probably seen Bottles Trees or Hanging Bottles. A lot of people do it for decorating purposes but have forgotten the history behind it. Bottle Trees and Hanging Bottles can be dated back to early times in Africa. This practice was spread around the south with the increasing numbers of African slaves being brought over. The belief is that evil spirits will crawl into the bottles and become stuck. Once trapped in the bottles, the spirits are stuck until sunrise, the sun burns up the evil spirits. Many Bottle Trees use cobalt blue bottles to promote healing and blessings, however you can find them in color and sometimes they're even just old beer bottles collected over time.

My first time canning on my own. Growing up poor, my parent's taught me how to live a no waste life. I noticed my oranges were going off so I made a sorta marmalade jam out of them. The peels I'll add to my compost to give it some nitrogen.
