I am the worst at taking good pictures of my pieces before I sell them. Here is my blue-footed booby mug after I sold it but right before I wrapped it up.

Today was a mini vase day. I threw these off the hump on Tuesday and trimmed them today. Now the question is do I leave them as glaze testers or do I paint them?

Another spoon rest suggestion was bunnies, and I modified that slightly to be a hare. That back leg is just ✨perfect✨

Sketch, color, and lines

I am not sure I fully captured the brilliance of a peacock’s feather but I certainly tried!

One heron cup and two plates. I have been enjoying drawing and painting herons recently. I did not take pictures after I lined the two plates, but they are lined like the cup.

And here is one of the finished spoon rests! Well finished painting at least, it still needs to be glazed and fired.

I got graphite paper so I can more easily transfer my sketches to my work! It is much easier to paint over when the sketch lines aren't a mess 😂 And each piece is still individually painted even if the base sketch is the same.

I'm not entirely happy with the tentacles, but I'm happy with it as a whole. I'm also getting back into painting lines with a brush instead of an applicator. It allows me to control the line width a lot more!

I've been getting back into sculpting recently and I'm remembering why I love it! So here is a WIP pink striped oakworm on top of a large jar with the moth on the bottom half.
