still in my dumbass feelings about final destination (2000). this is very much a post-columbine movie. a group of high school kids watch their classmates die right in front of them. and they can’t shake the feeling that they’re next. they pore over books, charts, and maps, thinking maybe they can find the pattern to save themselves and each other??? they’re navigating grief for the first time in their lives and all the fbi can do is look at them like it’s somehow their fault??? i’ve had a weird month i’m sorry but
