Quick sketch of Melkor/Morgoth and Hurin, Morgoth took Húrin and set him in a chair on a high place of Thangorodrim until such a time as he would release him. And there Morgoth granted Húrin his own sight, that he might see and hear to the ends of the land of Beleriand, for Morgoth wished that Húrin would despair to see the evil tidings that would now befall Húrin's kin.

I'm still developing the illustration for the dark lord, it will definitely different from most internet references when he is depicted with heavy load of armor.

i've never drawn him before, and don't know much about him, but i do like how cheeky the elves are in the hobbit particularly - i think him being a minstrel-type suits that

Had a great time fumbling around with drawing this evening with @nighttimepatrons. Here's a little drawing of Makalaure in an aesthetic cloth covering being gracefully buffeted by the winds on the cliffs around Tirion (because he's dramatic and he knows he looks good).
