I'm in love with the architecture of this church so much! From the bullet holes caused by the civil war to the scrap metal art depicting stories. Most of all, all the colors from the sun! ☀️ (at Iglesia el Rosario)

Somehow this heart-geared necklace survived the temple burn. It was left dangling inside the metal tree sculpture. I tried to reclaim it as a relic but it was too far away for my fingers to reach so I took a photo of it instead. Later on I befriended an artist collecting scraps of metal, melted glass, and other relics from the ashes. He and I started talking, he gifts me a large spoon to start my own relic collection. I went to check out some ashes when I remembered the necklace dangling in the middle of tree. With the large spoon in hand, I took this as a sign and wandered back to the tree. Using the handle of the spoon, I was able retrieve the necklace! :) I later attempted to gift the spoon to a girl who I thought was also seeking relics, instead she was confirming the burning of her father's ashes in the box she placed at the temple. We had a heart to heart and she asked me to walked through the ashes of the temple with her. We walked and pounced over the hot embers, I even then found a large piece of burnt copper from the temple. As gratitude, I later gifted the copper piece to the original artist that gave me the spoon. A full gifting circle! Sunday night of the temple burn is one of my favorite nights. So many authentic connections, this necklace has become embodiment of it.

The great thing about tech after parties is that you can always get front row view, even if you show up an hour late. #thefray #IDF15 (at Intel Developer Forum 2015)
