Deleting this app as my final deletion of social media apps. Can't be bothered with people's fake ass attitudes online. Thank you to people who've been my friend and have shared art with me, I appreciate it, but social media is not my thing any more. I much prefer to explore my interests and identity without the absolute brainrot of people on Tumblr/anywhere online trying to dictate what is right and what is wrong. I've realized that I have no desire to search for content, message people, or make content on platforms like this any more. I loose focus on my actual life which is so much more important. I start over-thinking what strangers think of me based on only 5% of my true self I've shared on here. It's unhealthy. After all that's happened these past four years I don't understand why I thought that this was any good for me. Most of what you've seen on here is barely even my real thoughts and emotions.

K so this is probably one of my favorite Hook 1991/Peter Pan story sketches I've done in a looong time. Rufio flaunts his redhead baddie (my oc Scarlet) while (age gap implication warning!)

Peter awkwardly stands in the background checking her out.

Idk why Scarlet looks so much older than Rufio lol but they're both supposed to be the same age. I'm not very good at perspective as well, but she's bigger in size mostly to show that she's the closest to the 'camera'.

Yeah I agree. My near-nonexistent fandom gets new content once every 6 months- 2 years. For some reason, I personally find it better than being stuck in a popular fandom with lots of online content.

It feels extremely freeing to go on ao3, go into my favorite film's tag which is pretty much, in a way, a deserted time capsule and just contaminate it with my fucked up ships and obscure fantasies n stuff

Doing that without having puriteens and fandom noobs breathing down my neck with their forced progressiveness and ignorant judgments is a huge weight off my shoulders

YA's joining fandom nowadays like "our piece of media hasn't released any new content for a YEAR so the fandom is inactive and dead rn but once we get MORE content we'll thrive again lads! 🤗" and I don't mean to sound like a boomer but unlike these new young'ns we don't need our media of choice to be constantly releasing a stream of new content every year for us to engage in fandom, we'll keep talking about what we already have and making fan stuff with other dedicated fans for years

I remember being a homestuck during the gigapause, omegapause, and hellapause (?) lol. A year wait ain’t shit.

Plus there’s literally still spirk and mulder/scully shippers and those are literally from two of the oldest modern fandoms. People are still making art and fic of them. I’m personally active in a handful at least of fandoms that haven’t released new content for years and some that literally never will. Keeping fandoms alive is a matter of continuing to enjoy and express enjoyment with something.
