1989 Costume Ideas

Hey guys! 

so since I’ve decided upon what costume I’ll be wearing for my show at Metlife, I wanted to share some of my idea with you (I’ve brain stormed a lot) so please feel free to use them and be creative!!

-This one I think will look beautiful. Get a white crop top and white skirt set. Just as how in the Style music video Taylor has pictures going across her. Re-create that. So use the lightning bolts, taylor’s eyes, the guy actors eyes, taylors red lips, etc. Put that all over the dress. Also add some lights to this look!

-Again, get a white crop top skirt set and iron on taylors responses to fans on tumblr. This will show how much we appreciate her doing that!

-Starbucks lovers, but instead of a dress or shirt or apron, dress up as an actual starbucks coffee mug. Write taylors name on it as if she ordered it, and also write lyrics on it. 

-Blank space: this one takes some guts. Decorate a t shirt any way you want, but have a list of your ex lovers on the shirt and then after the last name draw a space for someone else name and write i’ll write your name next to it. Also for this idea make a giant pen for the pen click in the song 

-Rose garden filled with thorns. Wear any kind of dress you want and get light up rose lights. Put them at the bottom of your dress and wear a light up rose headpiece.

-How you get the girl. Write a list of the ways Taylor tells us to

-#Catitude. One of taylors famous hashtags. Dress in all black and wear cat ears, glow lights around you, and a sign that says #catitude

-Get all black clothes. Get white el lights and make the NY skyline on your shirt and write the lights are so bright but they never blind me.

-Pictures in frames of kisses on cheeks. Make a giant frame with hearts and lips attacked to strings hanging down. Dress in red and have someone kiss your face with red lipstick.

Swifties's outfits for 1989 world tour 4/20

HELLOOOO!!! I’m going to the concert tonight (Friday) with my mother who is a Swiftie, too! We will be sitting in section 716, row 1, seats 12 and 13. I will be wearing some kind of skirt, a shirt that says ‘89’ and some bracelets. My mom is going to wear sparkly pants and a blouse. And both of us will have sparkly hats that say '1989’ on the front and pictures of Meredith and Olivia on the back. And, we have two signs, one that says ’T’ and one that says ’S’. They’re super sparkly and they light up!

‘Cause darling I’m a Nightmare, dressed like a Daydream.

I’d like to introduce you to the TS Angels. Nightmare & Daydream.

I’m so nervous to post these but here you go.

On Monday morning we’ll be up bright and early to travel down to Dublin. We’ll be staying down there for 3 days and we are so so so so SO excited.

This is Joanna, (daydream) her and I have been best friends for almost 11 years and I am blessed that I have her in my life. This will be her first Taylor concert and she cannot wait. (She was supposed to attend the Speak Now tour with me but couldn’t make it.) We’ve been planning our costumes for so long, constantly chopping and changing ideas, until we finally agreed on this. We came up with the idea of being 'TS Angels’ instead of 'VS Angels’ and finally being able to get them on tonight and get pictures together just gets me so much more excited for the 29th and 30th of June.

We’ll be in the pit both nights which I believe is section GA3 and there will be so much glitter, I’m sure you’ll see us from the space station. Our arms will be inked up with lyrics and I will definitely be ditching the pink Christmas socks.

So Tay, let’s be friends, we wanna see how this all ends.
