long story short: i hate hockey romance (besides HIM and US..), i hate puck bunnies (but who doesn't), i love fanfic, and im obessed with hockey to the point its taken over my life

im so obessed in a bad way with hockey its actually giving me headaches. like. wdym im obessed with the redwings to the point i started tweaking when it was JUST mentioned. I have stats tracked. I don't have a LIFE anymore. its get home. hockey. I THINK ABOUT HOCKEY. i was destroyed by trades this past summer btw. i have so many charts for the red wings alone, i haven't even started on others.

like i can't read hockey romance books anymore it geniyuely pisses me OFF. like PLEASE. STOP USING PUCK AS A REPLACE MENT FOR FUCK!! you could name your book "puck my heart" and it be the BEST shit ever and i wouldn't read it because im hung up on books and ice breaker RUINED my perspecive on hockey romance. Like i liked it? but anastia allen is a bitch and NO ONE can convince me differently (sorry to my pooks). I have Him, Us, Icebreaker, and few others i MIGHT read. But other than that im good.

like there is GENIUENLY a reason i got into reading hockey fanfics. im not jst here to fantastize abt the men im here to tweak out over the game (i track stats so hard its unfunny. please.) and read love stories abt them. fanfic makes me so happy as an artist. its not even becayse i hate books and people but because community pulls us so close.

AND IM TWEAKING. NOTHING MAKES ME HAPPIER THAN GOALIES IN LOVE. I CAN'T.

and like, now bcas Husso hasn't really ever come back from injury last season.. i can't even tweak out about that. Like the wings look SO different this season, and im happy for them, but i miss husso. And Lyon, let him play gang.

hockey has me in such a choke hold i get geniuely upset with players i like. it has me in a chokehold so well that i can't spend a singular day without wondering "hey when do they play again? and whose out thid game..?" some players geniuely piss me off btw. puck bunnies btw. don't get me STARTED. every post i see on tiktok is some thirsty girl going at the hughes brothers, bedard, marner, etc etc. please find anotehr player to thirst about thats not a rookie or a name everyone knows. im so happy bcas i can ride around spilling abt lucas raymond and people will be like "whose that" and i jst smile and tuck my short hair. i get you do you but it gets to a point where im only getting jack hughes edits. its the same 5 players. its the same five 5 songs. i hope someone gets the ref there please.
