Another successful day under your belt! You manage to take Momo to the vet, mark all your student papers and successfully helped 3 people with a pest problem. "Mrr." You hear momo grumble in her cat carrier "Again.. I'm sorry I tricked you Momo... but you needed your yearly shot. You sighed, as you felt a wave of guilt crashing into you.

As you were on your way home, you noticed a single red rose on your front door. "strange.." you mumble to yourself as you pick up the flower from the ground before heading into your apartment. Letting Momo free from her cat carrier, you couldn't help but admire the red rose left at your doorstep. 'Who left it here? Could it be the old lady next door? The flower shop owner you occasionally chat to?' You'd have to do some digging on your own, 'I could take this day to track down the culprit.' Your thoughts were interrupted by your phone ringing. 'Aoi Sakamoto' smiling at the identity of the caller, you quickly pick up

"Hey Aoi! What's up?" You chripped as you place the rose in a glass vase. "Y/N! I'm so glad you picked up my call!" Aoi cheerfully answered with a hint of worry in her voice. What's wrong?" You furrowed your eyebrows as concern came over you. "Ah! Nothing bad! We just have some new varieties of cat foods! Hana and Taro thought you might be interested in them!" She chimed happily "God... Aoi, you worried me..." "Ah! Sorry Y/N! But will you be right over?" You glance at the rose in the glass vase, your little investigation will have to wait. Besides, it's a good opportunity to get back on Momo's good side. "Y-yeah!! I'll be right over! See you!" You quickly hang up, a sigh leaves your lips as you go to grab your things. "Momo! I'll be heading out!" You call out to the black cat who shoots you a small glare. You can't help but chuckle at Momo's angry demeanour. "Love you too!" You quickly leave and make your way to Sakamotos.

~~~ Momo watches you leave and huffs before climbing up her cat tree to stare at the scenery outside, the quiet atmosphere lingered as Momo watches the peaceful movement of birds coming and going.

*Click* *click* The moment of silence was interrupted by the sound of someone fidgeting with the door knob. Momo turns her attention from the window to the door, expecting you to bust in crying and begging her to accept your apology. The door finally opens, revealing a tall raven-haired male in a light brown trench coat carrying a large metal case on his back. "Ah so this is her place of hiding hmm~?" Nagumo mumbles, looking around your apartment, simple yet cosy. Momo quickly perks up, happily approaching Nagumo as if he were a regular visitor "There's my cheeky girl!" Nagumo happy crouches down petting the black cat. "You've grown so big these past few years, hmm? Mama has been taking good care of you, huh?" Momo continues to rub her cheeks on Nagumo's hand. "But even after my absence I can still buy my precious daughter's love hmm?" Nagumo takes a couple of cat treats from his pocket, causing the black cat to beam with joy. With Momo successfully distracted, Nagumo seizes the opportunity to tour your apartment, nothing really catches his eyes, but one thing, a single red rose in a glass vase. "So she did put my little present on display!" Nagumo smiles and picks up the red flower, "you really haven't changed Y/N~"

~Flashback

There you were sitting on the top of a moving train reading your notes and enjoying the strong breeze whilst dodging Akao's multiple attempts at stabbing you with a combat knife. A Normal Day. "whatcha reading Y/N?" Akao chimes in happily, quickening her attempts at stabbing you. "Just reviewing for the test tomorrow" You respond, not looking from your notes, as you dodge each stabbing attempt with a swift motion. You flick a cigarette at Akao's direction. "Stop bothering me for 5 minutes." Akao stops and quickly puts a cigarette in her mouth "Really hung up on that test huh?" You nod, "I don't want Nagumo to get a higher test score than me." "Pfft you won't have to worry about that!" Akao mumbles while trying to light her cigarette, "Tch stupid thing-" Her sentence was interrupted by Nagumo lunging himself at both of you. Both you and Akao swiftly dodge his attack "Oops~! Looks like lover boy is here! I'll ask Sakamoto for a light!" Akao leaves both you and Nagumo alone, on top of the moving train. Nagumo slides up next to you holding a bouquet of an assortment of flowers. "Say Y/N~! Let's make it official huh-" His sentence was cut short as Nagumo dodges a slash resulting in the bouquet of flowers being decapitated. "I don't like flowers" You mumbled, flipping the page of your notebook. "Then~ What about these ones!" Nagumo pulls out another bouquet from his trench coat. A beautiful bouquet made from an assortment of different color roses. Looking up from your notebook, you give him a blank look as you launch a barrage of knife slashes at him, "Correction, I like flowers. I don't like you."

"I'll get you to like me one day~!" Nagumo smirks, causing you to roll your eyes and head inside the train to avoid the incoming train tunnel. Nagumo follows you suit, however he couldn't help but notice you didn't cut the heads of the red roses. 'So that's her favorite flower.' ~~End of Flashback You arrive at the Sakamoto's convenience store, you notice a large black spiral on the door and a man walking out clearly annoyed. Before the door could fully close, you slip your way in and to the back of the store, trying to find those cat treats Aoi mentioned. While you were searching for the cat treats, you overheard the Sakamotos comforting a young boy. You smile to yourself at how both you and Sakamoto changed. Grabbing a few treats and heading for the counter, a young blonde man in what looks to be his early 20s, backing away from Sakamoto. "W-WAIT! IT'S ME SHIN! I USED TO WORK FOR YOU! WHY IS KILLING ME THE FIRST THING YOU THOUGHT OF?!" Shin holds his hands on his face and immediately backs away, blocking you from the cash register. "Excuse me. You're in my way, " you whispered in the blonde's ear, causing him to jump and back away from you. "s-sorry." "Oh! Y/N! I didn't hear you come in!" Aoi smiles "Oh! you found the cat treats!" "Yeah. I did! I hope Momo will like them" You smile and walk over to the cash register. "Ms. Y/N!" Hana and the young boy exclaim and run up to hug you "Why Isn't Momo with you??" The two kids look at you with worry in their eyes. "don't worry about Momo... She's back home resting after a visit from the doctor.. She'll be back soon enough," You give the kids a reassuring smile as you pay for the cat treats. In the corner of your eye, you couldn't help but feel a lingering gaze from behind you. You turn around only to find Shin staring at you as if he were in a trance, as if he'd been struck with one of your poison pens. You thought of how easy it would be to sneak up behind him and stab his neck. Before you could say anything, he immediately jumps using both of his hands to cover his neck. "WHY DO YOU BOTH KEEP THINKING OF KILLING ME" You casually take the plastic bag filled with treats from Aoi and turn to Sakamoto, "clarvoient?" you casually asked him, putting the change in your pocket. Sakamoto nods, as you make your way to the door "Well that's new.. Shin was it?" You ask, looking back at the blonde male, who nodded, still covering his neck with his hands. "It was nice to meet you! Hope to see you around" You smiled and wave goodbye to everyone before leaving. "See you Y/N!" Aoi exclaims "Bye Ms. Oshitari!" Hana waves you goodbye. ~~ "So the Rumors are true! That you retired as a hit man and opened up a store." Shin mumbled, "Though.. I never expected that rumor of the JAA's head poison researcher to be alive either." Sakamoto crosses his arms and looks away ~~Flashback "Y/N. You should change your name" Sakamoto mumbles, handing you a can of soda. "eh. I'll live with it. There are a lot of people with the same name so it wouldn't be an issue." You sigh, cracking the soda can open. "And besides, according to the newspaper.. The explosion was so bad it burnt almost all of the information about me. I highly doubt it was a gas leak that did all of that. Though I could be wrong." You sigh, playing with the rim of the can. 'It's best to lay low for now. That gas leak was clearly just a cover up' you quickly push away all those negative thoughts picking at your brain. You're given a new chance at life, away from the JAA. "And if a person were to find me, so what? I can take them in a fight!" You exclaim, holding up your soda can. "Don't forget the number one rule." "pfft! I won't forget! Wouldn't want you and Aoi to split up! I will be a good aunt!" ~~ Flashback ends "So That's what she's like... " Shin Mumbles feeling a blush making its way on his cheeks, just as he's about to be lost in his thoughts, an image of Sakamoto stabbing him appeared. "QUIT KILLING ME IN YOUR MIND!"

Lost Tonight <1>

This is my attempt to write a full series haha! nothing too much just Nagumo x fem! reader!! At the end, there will be a description of your character/ my version of Y/N! Enjoy <3 Also me got a smol crush on Akao teehee- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Yo Oshitari! quit sulking at your desk!" A faint voice calls out from behind you, "Y/N" You immediately turn to look at the figure calling out to you, but your vision immediately fades to black. "Y/N~" You immediately jolt up only to be greeted by a raven-haired man grinning at you. "enjoyed your nap sleeping beauty~?"

"Fuck off nagumo.. " You spat, immediately getting up to resume your work. "Get out of my lab if you don't want to be poisoned."

Nagumo casually pulls out a chair and drops down "you know deep down you'll never do that~"

Glancing at the reflection from your beaker, you throw one of your syringe pens at him, which he easily dodges.

"you missed~"

"I wasn't even trying idiot. I could easily kill you"

"But you haven't~" Nagumo looks at the pen you threw at him "new poison? I don't recognise that colour"

"My newest experiment... it causes the victim's vision to distort, the poison moves at a rapid pace and easily shuts down the victim's muscles leaving them immobilised." You mumbled

"You're incredible Y/N~" Nagumo pulls the pen out of the wall and inspects it, before spinning it around between his fingers "Such a vibrant turquoise too... Did you base this off of someone?"

"possibly." You responded your voice trembling a bit as you tried to keep your composure. Memories began to flood your mind remembering the very person you base the poison off of. Your first friend at JCC and the only one you could trust your secrets with.

~Flashback You were alone in your room spinning a pen between your fingers, unfazed by the news you would get a new roommate. This had to be your 49th roommate this year, the reasons why your former roommates packed up and left ran through your mind.

'she's so quiet! I feel like she'll secretly kill me at night!'

A sigh left your lips 'Of course.. the one time I try to talk to make friends... it goes to shit-' Your thoughts were immediately interrupted by a loud crash coming from the living room. Curious, you immediately get off your bed and head for the living room only to see a female figure with turquoise hair, and yellow eyes carrying two bags to what you assume to be bags filled with her belongings.

Your new roommate.

"Ugh! Where is it!" She muffled with a cigar in her mouth. You curiously watch your new roommate searching her pockets for a lighter.

You roll your eyes and take out a lighter from your own pocket in one swift motion you snuck up behind her, grab the cigar out of her mouth and light it. "here you go." Your hand extended to give the girl back her now lighted cigar.

Thoughts run through your mind as your anxiety rises 'I shouldn't have done that. She'll think I'm creepy and move out' 'there goes another potential friend.' You glance at the figure expecting a horrified expression, but to your surprise, you are met with excitement.

"Shit! That was so cool!" The girl exclaims and takes the cigar from your hand " I didn't even feel your presence! Finally an exciting roommate!"

"you're... not creeped out?"

"Why would I be? If anything I'm excited to finally be paired with someone of my level!" You raise your eyebrow at her statement. "you know! Someone who can actually keep up!"

"You say that... but soon you'll move out like the others" You sigh and cross your arms looking away from her gaze.

"Tch! They don't think straight! They're just jealous of our skills" She blows out a puff of smoke and smirks at you "Can't wait to see how you'll surprise me! You got a name? or am I just going to call you the roommate"

You felt a pair of arms wrap around you pulling you into a hug and snapping you out of your trace.

"shh.. I know.. I miss her too" Nagumo mumbles nuzzling the crook of your neck.

"She's still out there.... right?" Your voice cracks as tears form in the corner of your eyes. "We can only hope" He sighs and kisses your cheek, you quickly wipe your eyes and glare at him. "Great now you made it even harder to finish my research." You pout "Aww~ I'm sorry~ I can make it up to you tonight~?" Nagumo chuckles as his hands slowly make their way up to your boobs. You gave him a flat look and lightly smacked him with a notebook. "Keep your horny thoughts out of my lab" "So you're saying we can do it once you're outside??" "I DID NOT SAY THAT!" "But you didn't deny it either~!" You weezled your way out of his bear grip and rubbed your temples "What am I going to do with you...?" You glace at Nagumo who opens up his mouth to respond 'BEEEEEP BEEEEP BEEEEP!' Your eyes flutter open as you struggle to turn off your noisy alarm, frustrated, you throw it at the wall and the blaring noise finally stops.

"Finally. " you yawn as you stare at the ceiling lost in your thoughts. It's been six years since that event at the lab. Although you both were friends with benefits you couldn't help but yearn for more.

'It would never work.. ' You mumbled to yourself 'Besides... I'm supposed to be dead..' you sighed remembering the JAA newspaper headline.

"JAA Labs Blows up due to a major gas leak!"

As your mind wanders your door slightly opens, and a black cat makes her way from the door to your bed, in a giant leap landing directly on your chest. Even though this happens every morning it still catches you by surprise.

"Ow..... and morning to you too Momo...." You groan and pet her ears, causing the black cat to purr and lean towards your touch. "We better get ready for work... A teacher should never be late.." You mumbled as you got up causing Momo to reposition from your chest to roost on your shoulders happily purring as your do your usual routine.

As you're brushing your teeth you can't help but stare at yourself in the mirror. Thanks to the help of the Sakamotos and your sheer determination you manage to mold yourself from a hard cold killer to a regular civilian. 6 years of peace and tranquillity had truly changed you. The best part is that a simple task you found annoying turned out to be entertaining. Before, preparing breakfast was a pain, but now it has become a fun activity to experiment with different recipes. Taking notes from Aoi you learn that there is more to cooking than just toast and microwave meals. Once you finished preparing your food you open a can of tuna for Momo. You couldn't help but admire Momo as she eats her breakfast, you follow suit eating your breakfast at such a fast pace you nearly choke on it.

~flashback "And this is how you make a proper breakfast!" Aoi exclaims, you carefully write down all the steps as Sakamoto drinks from his cup of hot chocolate.

"Why don't you try it out for yourself Y/N?" Aoi cheerfully asks "Oh.. sure!" you nod at Aoi and take out the ingredients from the fridge 'If Aoi can do it, so can I! I mean cooking can't be that hard right?' you thought to yourself confident in your abilities. 20 minutes later you somehow manage to set the entire kitchen on fire- "I'm a failure." you cried as you fell to your knees. "D-don't be disappointed Y/N!! Not everyone nails it on the first try" Aoi exclaims trying to comfort you as Sakamoto extinguishes the fire in the kitchen. You sulk in the corner as Aoi lightly scolds her husband for laughing at your mistake. 'fitting in may be harder than it looks...' ~end of flashback

You giggle as that memory runs through your mind "at least I got better at cooking huh Momo?" you smile at the black cat who cheerfully meows at you before climbing onto your shoulder. You grab your bag filled with student papers, your wallet and multiple poison pens. Of course, a woman such as yourself shouldn't leave the house without any self-defence. Besides, these poisons won't kill a target but will paralyse them leaving you enough time to knock them out. Another pro is that such vibrant colours are fun to write with! And there aren't any harmful side effects once the poison dries up so win-win!

On your way to school, you greeted the local residents smiling and wishing them a good morning. You really had to thank Sakamoto for assisting you in building connections with the locals.

"Good morning Ms. Y/N!"

"Have a good morning Ms. Oshitari!"

For once in your life you were treated as a normal person and not a monster. During your assassin days, you didn't care if you'd die since you had nothing to care about, but now you have a purpose, and you will defend this fresh start with all you've got.

Arriving at the gate of your school you hear a familiar voice call out to you.

"Ms. Y/N!!!! Momo Chan!!!!" Hana giggles running up to you, with an apple in her hand with Aoi following behind her. You crouch down opening your arms wide and engulf her in a hug. "Good Morning to you too! What's with the apple?" You asked patting her head.

Hana smiles brightly and hands it to you " A gift! For you! Because you said you liked apples the other day!"

Your eyes soften and carefully take the apple from the girl "Aww Thank you!" Hana smiles at your response and pets Momo on your shoulder

"she couldn't wait to go to school! After all, you're her favourite teacher!" Aoi exclaims happily, "Oh! And congratulations on your promotion! We should celebrate it!" you look up at Aoi and smile.

"Ms Y/N can come over!! Right Ms Y/N??" Hana excitedly turns to you. "Well, we'll have to get through the day first don't we?" You slowly get up "Once we finish a hard day at school we can celebrate!" You proudly exclaim as Momo meows in agreement. "Promise??" Hana asks holding out her pinky "Pinky promise" You giggle as Momo meows in agreement

Hana's eyes shine and nods while Aoi giggles "I'll be back to pick you up Hana! Have a wonderful time at school with Ms Y/N!"

"Bye Mama!" Hana waves goodbye to Aoi and follows you inside. Entering the classroom a few students who had already arrived cheerfully greeted you. "Good morning class! Let's all take our seats please!"You clap your hands and turn to write on the board, as Hana quickly rushes to her seat. "Now before we start, today's question of the day is 'Who do you want to be like when you grow up?'" You write the question with white chalk as Momo climbs down from your shoulder to rest beside the window. "would anyone like to share their answer?"

Your turn to see if any of your students raise their hands to answer the question, Hana quickly raised her hand proudly

"yes, Hana?"

"Ms Y/N! I want to grow up to be just like you!" Hana proudly exclaims

"Really? Why?" you ask amused at the girl's response

"Because I want to help people! Just like you!" Hana cheers "And Also because I want to be pretty like you!" The rest of your students chime in

"I want to be like Ms Y/N too!"

"M-Me too!"

You felt a tear form at the corner of your eye as you laughed at your students making a ruckus. You never thought teaching would suit you, as you quieted the class down and started today's lesson you couldn't help but remember the last person you taught.

You give Nagumo a blank stare

"so did I get all of them right?" Nagumo grins at you as you check the practice test you gave him.

"no. In fact, you even got the bonus question you wrote AND answered yourself wrong." You sighed and rubbed your temples already regretting your decision to tutor his bitch ass.

"You know I'm starting to think you're purposely making mistakes just to stay in the library longer." You glare at Nagumo who quickly looks away "I have no idea what you're talking about~!"

"Tch. I swear if you don't take this seriously I will stop tutoring you." You slam the practice test in front of him.

"aww so harsh~! Y/N~!" Nagumo's smile only got bigger as he rocked in the wooden chair while playing with a small dice.

"I'm serious Yoichi. If you don't take this seriously you can study by yourself" You cross your arms giving him a stern look as you lightly kick his chair nearly making him lose his balance.

"Alright~! I'll focus!" Nagumo smiles holding both his hands up 'surrendering'

Time flew by so fast the day had already ended with a blink of an eye

"Remember to read through pages 10-14 of your textbook!" You say you're wiping the board. You hear your students packing up and wish you a goodbye.

Momo stretches and climbs on your shoulder purring

"We did good today huh..?" You whisper and scratch Momo's ear.

"Ms Y/N!!! " you hear tiny footsteps approach you "We finished the day! You said you would come over and celebrate!"

You pat Hana's head

"A promise is a promise! Let's meet your mom outside!" Hana cheers, You grab your bag and follow her outside where Aoi and Sakamoto are patiently waiting for the both of you.

Aoi smiles and waves at both of you "There you both are!" Hana happily runs to her parents "MAMA! PAPA! Look what I did in class today!!" Hana exclaims and shows her parent the drawing assignment you had her do.

"good afternoon Sakamoto." You bowed your head at him as he responded with a simple nod.

"You both worked so hard today! I'll have to prepare a big feast for all of us tonight!" Aoi cheers, Sakamoto's stomach grumbles at the thought of his wife's cooking causing Aoi and Hana to giggle.

"Pfft- Ahem... That sounds great!" You said trying to stop yourself from laughing and avoiding Sakamoto's intense glare at you. "S-sorry Sakamoto you're just too funny! I'll buy a cake to make it up to you?" You tried catching your breath.

Sakamoto huffs in agreement

"Alright, then it's settled!" Aoi clasped her hands "We'll see you at the convenience store soon Y/N!" You nod and wave the family goodbye as you head for the city to buy a cake that is good enough for Sakamoto to forgive you. ~~ A man is running through the narrow corners desperately trying to escape his impending doom, his desperation however leads him to a dead end.

"What a shame! You're stuck!"

"P-Please spare me-" An arm immediately grabs the man's neck and slams him against the wall

"Spare? Well, I guess that could be arranged if you tell me everything you know about this~!" Nagumo pulls out a newspaper about the JAA lab explosion. "speak and I might let you live!"

"I'M INNOCENT I TELL YOU! ALL THE CLIENT ASKED ME TO DO WAS TO BLOCK ALL ESCAPE DOORS!" Nagumo's grip on the man's neck tightens "Who's your client?"

"I-I Don't know- I'M SERIOUS! I don't know their names, appearance, or anything! I-I was just sent to tamper with the exits!"

Nagumo lets go of the man's neck

"I suppose." Nagumo's demeanour immediately reverts back to his cheery self "Oh by the way! Have you seen a small dice?"

The man opens his mouth to respond but instead of words coming out a small dice falls out landing on the number 3, as soon as the dice lands on the ground the man's head is severed off.

"oh! There it is! Thanks- Oh you probably can't hear me huh?" Nagumo puts the dice in his pocket. His smile falls as a sigh leaves his lips. 'First Akao then Y/N..' he thought to himself as he put his weapon back in its case.

It's been 6 years since the JAA lab explosion. Multiple scientists were wounded badly, however, only one person didn't make it out 'Alive'. Taking out a burnt ID card from his pocket,

"I'll find the person responsible Y/N.." Nagumo mumbles and kisses your picture before making his way out of the alleyway.

Ever since the explosion and the death of the head researcher in the poison department, all future experiments related to poison were ceased and scrapped and any attempts at reviving your research were denied.

~~ 'This is the hardest choice I've ever made!' You thought to yourself as you intensely stared at two different cakes.

"u-uhm miss... Please make your choice soon we're about to close.."The staff sweats a bit at your sheer focus.

'Which one would they like... Should I go for a simple strawberry shot cake? Or a rich black forest cake?' thoughts running through your head. Sick of your bullshit, Momo light smack your head and guides your attention to a poster

'Taste the Joy of both flavours! Ask our staff to split two cakes of your choice in half!'

"I'LL HAVE HALF OF THE BLACK FOREST AND HALF OF THE STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE!" You shouted

"Y-YES MA'AM!"

~~ As Nagumo made his way around the busy streets he couldn't help but wonder, if he had been brave enough to ask you out that day. Would you have survived that explosion?

As he was lost in his thoughts a familiar person walked past him, his breath hitched 'It couldn't be' he thought he was hallucinating again.

"Alright Momo! Let's Head to the Sakamotos!"

Nagumo's thoughts were immediately interrupted by a familiar voice falling on his ears 'It couldn't be, he saw the building explode, he saw what was left of your body' Nagumo immediately turned around only for his eyes to land on you.

There you were, breathing, moving and beaming with joy as if the explosion never occurred.

Frozen in his place, Nagumo watched as you were getting further and further from his sight.

Not again. Nagumo immediately took control of his feet, desperate to catch up to you. His work could wait. Everything could wait. He wasn't going to lose you he wasn't going to let you slip away from his fingers.

Not now. Not ever.

"February 14." you groan at your planner's calendar. The dreaded day smacked you like a .950 JDJ bullet.

Valentine's Day.

You absolutely hated Valentine's Day, not because of the overpriced merchandise, the repetitive taste of chocolate, or the couples actively committing PDA out in broad daylight. No, the reason you hated Valentine's Day is because of-

"N-Nagumo senpai! I-I made these chocolates for you... P-p-Please accept them!" Your train of thought was interrupted by a blushing female JCC student handing a pink heart-shaped box to the only man who could irritate you enough to drink your own lab-made poison.

Usually, you'd be happy for someone building up the courage to hand their crush a box of chocolates. But of all the students in JCC why him? your question was quickly answered by a few female students whispering amongst themselves.

'He's so charming!'

'I can't wait to give him my chocolates at lunch!'

What's so charming about him exactly? if anything, he's just an annoying rat scurrying around the halls of JCC brothering your peace with his pranks and that shit-eating grin that made you want to shoot yourself.

"Take a picture it'll last longer~" You immediately snapped out of your thoughts, realizing you've been staring at the source of your irritation, who is shooting his signature grin at you.

"Tch. Shut up." You walked past the tall male assassin and made a beeline to your locker. To your dismay, Nagumo followed you and leaned on the wall of lockers next to you.

"Could this be the year you finally give chocolates to me~? Don't be nervous!" Nagumo chirped moving his face closer.

Rolling your eyes at his sentence you flick his forehead causing him to pout. "Don't get too cocky. Besides you said you don't take chocolates from students in the poison department." You raise your eyebrow at the grinning assassin and close your locker.

"Well, you were formerly in the assassination department! And even if you weren't you're an exception~!" Nagumo winks at you and starts opening his locker.

"I'll kill you"

"no, you won't~ Admit it you lov-" As Nagumo was about to finish his sentence, a bombardment of different colour boxes fell out of his locker.

"looks like you don't need any more chocolates. I'll get you a cart." You sigh and walk off.

"Thanks..!"

After helping Nagumo fill a cart with the many colour boxes that you assume to be filled with various chocolates, You both start walking to class when a voice catches both of your attention.

"Nagumo-Kun~!" A girl called out running towards him "I made you these! Please accept them!"

You watch as Nagumo charms the female JCC student with his smile and sugar-coated words. You take out a small book and start reading but you can't focus as you wonder 'What is Nagumo's type?'

You always knew Nagumo was very popular with the female JCC students. But you couldn't help but be curious about the question lingering in your brain. Surely one girl had to have gotten his attention after all these years in the JCC.

"whatcha reading~?" You snap out of your trace and turn only to see Nagumo peeking from your shoulder. Your faces are too close for comfort.

"Too close idiot. " you lightly push him away in an attempt to hide your flushed face.

"you know you could have gone first~ This means you really do love me!" Nagumo exclaims with that shit-eating grin you've always 'hated'.

"Oh okay." you quickly walk off leaving Nagumo alone in the halls

"Y/N Wait!" Nagumo protested pushing his cart trying to catch up to you, causing your lips to curl up into a small smile.

The day had gone by faster than you expected, and lunch quickly came around the corner. You make your way to the cafeteria still thinking about that question dancing around in your brain.

As you were thinking an arm wrapped around you, causing you to immediately throw a punch at the figure behind you. Your fist was caught by a female JCC student whose appearance was composed of bright Yellow eyes and turquoise hair.

"Woah Y/N! Is this how you greet your roommate??" Akao smiled at you

"Sorry, Akao... " You sighed catching your breath, she let go of your fist and put a cigar in her mouth.

"Mmmm, I'll forgive you... if you have a light!" Akao smirked. You grabbed a lighter from your bag. She leans down as you light her cigar. "you're forgiven!" Akao chuckles

"So what's got you off guard? It's scary that you're losing focus! I heard your footsteps and you're usually as quiet as a mouse... Don't tell me you lost your touch!" Akao rests her head on your shoulder.

"No.. just curious about something" You mumbled, Akao raised her eyebrow at you "bout what?"

"What's.... Nagumos type..?" You asked

Silence...

Akao burst out laughing "PFFT! Is that what you're on about?"

"I'm serious. He's been leading girls on; if he has a type, it'll be easier for everyone! plus I'm curious..." You defended and looked away. It's true that you but deep down inside you know that it wasn't just your curiosity.

"That's easy he likes....... " Akao paused "Actually yeah... has he ever told us...? Not that we would care though..."

"Exactly.. If he just told people his type then the line for giving him chocolates at lunch would be much smaller wouldn't it?"

"Yeah... it is annoying when multiple girls come to deliver chocolates to him... Honestly! Where are my chocolates??" Akao pouts

"I can give you some!" you chirped giving Akao a totally innocent smile.

"And be poisoned? No thanks! Reminder Y/N you're the top student in that department!" Akao snickers walking off with you following her

"I'll make sure you have a 50% chance of surviving! Honest!" You smirked.

"Sorry babes! Hard Pass!"

You both made your way to the lunchroom grabbing a JCC bowl before heading to a table where Nagumo and Sakamoto were eating. Sakamoto looks up and greets the both of you with a simple nod.

"YO! Eating without us? Rude!" Akao groans and takes her seat across from Sakamoto, you take a seat next to her which to your dismay is across from Nagumo.

"Can't believe you left me all alone in the hallway! " Nagumo sighs acting butt hurt. You didn't have to look at his face to know he was giving you puppy dog eyes.

"You caught up with me immediately. Besides you said I could leave. So I left a rat that was holding me back from getting to class." You fired back as you opened a small notebook pretending to read whatever was on that page.

"Ouch! My heart just shattered!" Nagumo clutches his chest pretending to be butt hurt. Sakamoto rolled his eyes while Akao laughed at Nagumo's 'misery'.

"uhm~! E-excuse me..."

Akao's laughter died down noticing a girl holding a red heart-shaped box close to her chest. Akao leans closer to you and whispered

'here we go again.'

You sigh in response and look up to see the same scene every year

"N-Nagumo- Kun! I made these chocolates for you a-and only you!" The girl blurted out

You watch the scene playing in front of you, the same repetitive shit that happens each year. A confession from a random JCC student and Nagumo acting appreciative. As you were about to flip the page of your notebook you remembered the question that had been lingering above your head. Waiting for the girl to leave, you turn to Akao who's picking at her food bowl. You stare intensely at Akao catching her attention.

"hm?"

You tilted your head gesturing at Nagumo who was looking at the chocolates he was just given.

"OH! Right! Yo Nagumo! " Akao calls out causing Nagumo to stop staring at the chocolates he's been given.

"What grade did you get for the Assassins in History test?" Akao smiled, you immediately shoot her a glare causing her to laugh.

Nagumo and Sakamoto both stared at you both confused

"PFFT! Alright alright..." Akao says catching her breath

You let out an audible sigh and continue to focus on your notes.

"Y/N wants to ask you something!" Akao chirps pointing at you, causing you to jolt. Your head immediately turns to Akao who is avoiding your intense stare. again.

"Be careful with what you eat Akao." you mumble, Sakamoto raises his eyebrow while Nagumo just smiles at you. You scowl at him and sigh, you swear you were going to kill Akao after this.

"Don't take this the wrong way... But... what's your type..?" You ask avoiding eye contact.

Sakamoto just stares blankly at you while Akao tries to hold in her laughter, you glance at Nagumo who just blinks at you.

"Mmm.... I dunno!" Nagumo gives you his trademark grin. You were taken aback by his response, no teasing? Jokes? usually, he would laugh it off and tease you till you rip your ears out.

"So much for peaceful lunches then..." Akao sighs popping a cigar in her mouth. "Also Y/N was thinking about this question really hard that it made her lose focu-"

You throw a syringe at Akao, who immediately dodges it, the amount of force you throw the syringe causes it to make a punch size hole in the cafeteria

"Like I said Akao... Watch what you eat for the next few weeks." You give your roommate a cracked smile.

"Finally! something interesting! Come at me!" Akao proudly exclaims getting into a fighting stance.

"I've been meaning to try out a few of my new experiments on willing test subjects." You shot back, a smirk falls on your lips as you pulled out another syringe fill with what could only be a poison tester.

Both you and Akao lunge at each other throwing punches, kicks which chasing each other around the cafeteria.

Sakamoto and Nagumo watch as both you and Akao spar.

"My Type"

Sakamoto turns to Nagumo clearly confused by his friend's statement.

"Y/N... is My type" Nagumo hums as he puts the heart-shaped box in his cart. Still smiling as his eyes focus on you, following you across the room as you continue to fight with Akao.

"She could eat you alive Nagumo. I hope you have an appetite." Sakamoto sighs finishing whats left of his lunch.
