Possessive Tendencies
In a room full of sharks, Mo Guanshan makes one thing clear. He Tian isn't up for negotiation. corporate au fic, short one-shot. nsfw
The ballroom of the Grand Victoria Hotel glittered like a gilded cage, its vaulted ceilings dripping with crystal chandeliers that scattered light across the sea of bespoke suits and champagne flutes. Diplomats and Fortune 500 sharks circled one another with practiced smiles, their laughter a symphony of hollow currencyâall sharp edges and softer agendas. But none of them mattered. Not when He Tian held court at the center of it all, leaning against the marble pillar with a tumbler of bourbon in hand, his laughter a low, velvet rumble that drew eyes like moths to a pyre.
Guan Shan watched from the shadow of the bar, his own glass of mineral water sweating in his grip. Of course. Heâd warned him. Keep your fucking head down. No theatrics. No trouble. But He Tian had never met a spotlight he wouldnât devour. Now, a Swiss investor hung on his every word, her manicured nails brushing his forearm, while an Italian tech magnate leaned in close, murmuring something that made He Tianâs smirk sharpen.
Unbelievable.
Guan Shanâs jaw tightened as he set his glass down. Time to collect what was his.
He Tianâs voice carried over the din, smooth and dangerous. ââcounteroffer of fifteen percent equity, but only if youâre willing to bleed for it.â The Swiss woman laughed, too bright, too eager, her gaze lingering on the open collar of his shirt.
Guan Shan closed the distance in six strides, his oxfords silent against the Persian rug. He didnât bother with preamble.
His hand landed on He Tianâs ass, fingers digging into the muscle beneath the tailored wool with a possessiveness that left fingerprints.
The room didnât freeze. Didnât gasp. But the air shiftedâa ripple of raised brows, stifled coughs, the Italianâs glass pausing halfway to his lips.
He Tianâs sentence faltered. Just once. Just enough.
âApologies,â Guan Shan said, tone flat as he squeezed harder, thumb brushing the inner curve in a silent threat. âMy partnerâs prone to wandering. Occupational hazard.â
The Swiss woman blinked. âPartner?â
He Tian recovered faster, his chuckle a warm blade. âIn every sense of the word.â He leaned back into Guan Shanâs touch, unrepentant. âMo Guan Shan. Ruthless negotiator. Terrible drinker. Excellent grip.â
Guan Shanâs glare couldâve iced the bourbon in He Tianâs glass. âWeâre leaving.â
âLeaving?â He Tian swirled his drink, feigning innocence. âBut Signore Ricci was just explaining how badly he wants my algorithm.â
âAnd Iâm explaining how badly Iâll break your legs if you make me repeat myself.â
The Italian cleared his throat. âPerhaps weâll⊠reconvene after the keynote?â
âDoubt it.â Guan Shan steered He Tian toward the nearest exit, hand still anchored to his ass, fingers flexing in warning with every step.
âââ
The hallway outside was a crypt compared to the ballroomâs fever, its walls lined with oil portraits of dead tycoons smirking down at them. He Tian waited until the door swung shut before shoving Guan Shan against a pillar, his composure cracking to reveal the feral grin beneath. âJealous, xiÄnsheng?â
Guan Shan grabbed his tie, yanking him close. âYou were showboating.â
âNetworking.â
âFlirting.â
âSchmoozing.â He Tianâs knee slid between Guan Shanâs thighs. âSame thing you did with that French banker last week.â
âI hate the French.â
âYou let him touch your cufflinks.â
âHe was drunk.â
âAnd youâre jealous.â He Tian nipped his jaw. âAdmit it.â
Guan Shan spun them, reversing their positions with a snarl. âYouâre a liability. Prance around like a peacock, and someoneâs gonna pluck you.â
âPluck me?â He Tianâs laugh was a dark thrill. âYou just groped me in front of NATOâs investment wing. Whoâs the liability now?â
Guan Shanâs palm slid higher, beneath He Tianâs jacket, fingers splaying over the small of his back. âTheyâll remember who you belong to. Thatâs the point.â
âBelong?â He Tian arched into the touch, voice dropping to a purr. âCareful. Youâll make me blush.â
âYouâre impossible.â
âAnd youâre hard.â He Tian rocked his hips forward, confirming it. âAll that⊠claiming. Really got you going, huh?â
Guan Shanâs grip turned punishing. âShut up.â
âMake me.â
âââ
The kiss was a collisionâliquor and spite and the lingering sugar of petit fours. Guan Shan bit He Tianâs lip, tasting blood and victory as he backed him into a shadowed alcove, shielded by velvet drapes. He Tianâs hands were everywhere, tearing at Guan Shanâs belt, shoving his shirt open, mouth trailing down his throat like he meant to brand him.
âHere?â Guan Shan hissed, even as he palmed He Tian through his slacks. âYouâve got no self-control.â
âSays the man who marked me like a fucking cave painting.â He Tian unbuckled his own belt, teeth grazing Guan Shanâs earlobe. âTheyâre probably still out there placing bets on whether youâll drag me to the bathroom or the balcony.â
âBalconyâs closed.â
He Tianâs laugh was cut short as Guan Shan spun him to face the wall, hands braced against the gilded trim. âFuckâ!â
Guan Shan kicked his legs wider, the drapery swallowing their rasping breaths. âShouldâve stayed quiet.â
âShouldâveââ He Tianâs words dissolved into a groan as Guan Shan yanked his slacks down, fingers slick with the hotel-provided lotion from his pocket. âChristâyou just carry that around?â
âYouâre predictable.â Guan Shan worked him open fast, ruthless, his free hand muffling He Tianâs curses. âKnew youâd need it.â
âArrogantâah!âbastardââ
Guan Shan silenced him with a thrust, sheathing himself in one motion. The sound He Tian made was half-snarl, half-sob, his forehead knocking against the wallpaper. âSlowâ!â
âYou had your spotlight.â Guan Shan set a brutal pace, the alcove trembling with each snap of his hips. âNow take your punishment.â
âââ
It was over quicklyâtoo much adrenaline, too much spite. He Tian came first, teeth sunk into his own forearm to stifle his cries, body bowing backward as Guan Shan gripped his hips hard enough to bruise. Guan Shan followed, burying his face in He Tianâs shoulder to muffle his groan, the world narrowing to heat and pulse and the acid-sweet tang of triumph.
They slumped against the wall afterward, He Tianâs laughter a shaky thing. âYou realize⊠weâll be front-page news tomorrow.â
Guan Shan straightened his tie, fingers steady despite the sweat at his temples. âRumors die.â
âNot when the CFO of Liang International gets bent over a wall.â
âYouâll spin it.â Guan Shan handed him a handkerchief. âTell them I threatened your shares.â
He Tianâs grin was pure sin. âOr that I let you.â
Guan Shan paused, studying himâthe rumpled hair, the smeared mouth, the bite marks peeking above his collar. âYou did, didnât you?â
He Tian leaned in, breath hot against his ear. âI always get what I want.â
Guan Shan shoved him toward the exit. âYouâre insufferable.â
âAnd youâre mine.â He Tian caught his wrist, thumb brushing the racing pulse beneath. âNow buy me a drink. Iâm parched.â
âââ
The ballroom door swung open. A hundred eyes snapped to themâto He Tianâs disheveled elegance, to Guan Shanâs iron composure, to the shared flush neither could fully hide.
Guan Shanâs hand found He Tianâs ass again, lighter now, a reminder.
He Tian raised his glass to the crowd, a toast and a challenge.
Game on.

The Report Card Disaster
Sports? Flawless.
Academics? A fucking nightmare.
Mo and He Tian got the first taste of hell when Jiang Wei brought home his first real report card at seven.
Jiang Wei, happily handing it over, unbothered: âHere, Baba!â
Mo, reading:
- Physical Education: A+++ (Obviously.)
- Art: A (Somehow.)
- Math: C (Suspicious.)
- Science: D (Alarming.)
- History: F (Oh, for fuckâs sake.)
- Writing: F (OH, FOR FUCKâS SAKE.)
Mo looked up, dead-eyed.
He Tian was already laughing.
Mo slammed the report down.
âJiang Wei.â
Jiang Wei blinked up at him, innocent as hell.
Mo inhaled deeply.
âWhy the did you get an F in history and writing?â
Jiang Wei, completely unfazed: âBecause itâs boring.â
Mo, eye twitching: âItâs important.â
Jiang Wei shrugged. âBut I donât like it.â
Mo rubbed his temples. âYou donât have to like it. You just have to do it.â
Jiang Wei, thoughtful: âI mean⊠do I?â
Mo slammed his hands on the table.
âYES, YOU DO.â
Jiang Wei yelped.
He Tian wheeze-laughed in the background.
---
Homework Time is a Nightmare
Jiang Wei could not sit still.
Trying to make him write a full sentence?
Like trying to leash a tornado.
Mo tried everything.
Bribes. Threats. Timer apps.
Nothing worked.
The only thing that remotely worked?
Trapping him.
One night, Jiang Wei was being particularly impossible.
Would not stop fidgeting.
Mo was at his limit.
So he yanked him into his lap, wrapped both arms around him, and held him still.
âYouâre not moving until you finish this sentence.â
Jiang Wei whined.
He Tian, from the couch, recording: âThis is child abuse.â
Mo flipped him off.
Jiang Wei eventually wrote the sentence.
It took thirty minutes.
Mo almost had a stroke.

I finished watching Buddy Daddies and despite initial skepticism I loved this series. They are a splendid example of a found family and a queer family. Rei is my favorite, a spirit guide! And Kazuki is totally love! I loved everything! đ

Omg you guys I just got an idea for a story⊠hear me out.
So in the last fight chapter when She Li had that bar to He Tianâs neck & after Mo hit him he turned and almost stabbed the metal pole through him, WHAT IF He Tian was on the verge of passing out bc of being choked so aggressive and what if Mo DID get stabbed by that pole and the last thing He Tian sees before passing out is that, and WHAT IF He Cheng pulls the same shit on he tian he pulled with his dog? Like parallels. He tian wakes up only to be told by his brother that Mo didnât make it, then years later He Tian finds out Mo didnât die his brother lied to âteach him a lessonâ again and itâs his new mission in life to get him back. Obviously Iâd be writing He Cheng out of character cos I donât think heâd ever do that to his brother knowing how he feels about Mo Guanshan.
