Or not like curly hair but considerably messier hair than curufin y’know

oh mostly i just use it as a way to differentiate them quickly aside from just height/clothes/jewelry... they both have some kind of wave going on, but i picture curufin to be more concerned about his image & how in control he appears, so he gets the sleek straight upper half contained in his circlet. but feanor is more like.. pointed? purposeful? about when and where he chooses to show off so if he's busy w more important things he'll go out looking like a mess he doesn't gaf
