I’m trying to make this blog not exclusively posting about music but god dammit if Jhariah is not testing me right now

I don’t care who you are: if you like indie rock, geek rock, and/or are a fan of Will Wood, GO LISTEN TO BRYAN SCARY.

The best way I can describe his music Is kind of David Bowie-esq with more steampunk themes. A large chunk of its songs are super upbeat songs about some sort of horrible fictional event. He is one of my all-time favorite musicians, and he only has like 20k monthly listeners??? A tragedy and against the law. This needs to be changed. Please please please go listen to him.

Below I have listed the name of some songs that I think you should listen to to see if you like his music. They are somewhat representative of his discography as a whole: The Curious Disappearance of the Sky-Ship Thunderman, Imitation of the Sky, Bye Bye Babylon, and The Blood Club.

if you like these songs, listen to his discography! I would recommend the Mad Valentine EP, Flight of the Knife, and The Shredding Tears. The only reason I am not recommending the other two albums is because I haven’t listened to them yet! I’m very busy person, but I’m going too soon. My point is, his music is amazing as a whole.

Holy shit. I mean, I know this is the direction that things have been heading, but still. This sets a horrible precedent. I am very concerned that these bans may be expanded with the upcoming election cycle. That’s just speculation, but still.

if you dont know, the supreme court just allowed Idaho to ban gender affirming care for trans youth !! please send love to any transgender youth you know, especially anyone in Idaho.

this is absolutely terrifying, as a trans youth myself living in a state absolutely filled with right wing individuals, i am scared for me and my fellow trans youth living in ANY state, but especially red states like mine.

i'll reblog this post with anything i can find on how to help stop this, and you should too. please boost this, this affects all trans people, but especially trans youth, who already lack so many rights just for being youth.
