I understand why people think the Jayce and Viktor breakup was rushed because well, it was but I do think people are ignoring why Viktor chose to leave.

It's been repeatedly shown in season 1 that Jayce had, and still has a nasty habit of ignoring what Viktor wants for what he believes to be best. And this has been shown to be a large strain on their relationship, which got much worse when Jayce became a chairmen and Viktor got sick. After all, despite Viktor's warnings Jayce chose to turn Hextech into weapons, which backfired. Then Viktor warned Jayce about treating the people of Zaun like monsters, but Jayce ignored that which ended in him murdering a child whose mother went to claim her revenge in a terrorist act.

And the straw that broke the camels back was after everything, Viktor still confided in Jayce about Sky's death and made him promise to destroy the Hexcore. Which Jayce didn't do instead fusing it into Viktor, which must have felt like the ultimate betrayal. I'm not saying that I don't understand why Jayce did it, I probably would've done the same thing. But the end result to Viktor was another showing of Jayce ignoring his wishes for what he wants so, I completely understand why he left.

But I do wish Arcane had taken a little more time to show that, but episode constraints and all that.

I’m still losing my absolute mind over the many ways they could change Arcane Viktor into his LoL form or at least make him a mid-point between their own original writing for arcane or mix it with the 2012-2016 League lore

Literally every time I see this scene I start thinking about how Viktor already seems so in control of the death ray lol -

Fr giggling and kicking my feet at this foreshadowing - like you can already tell he’s got good practice with it, especially with the way it’s being handled and the precision of the hermitdonger carving

I honestly like to think that he steals it along with a hextech crystal (just to par in with the original-ish lore between Jayce and Viktor’s argument),

Also judging from how ‘alive’ the hexcore itself seems and the way it’s got a good grip on Viktor it might be safe to say that it’ll have a pretty shitty effect on him mentally but Yk benefiting him physically - maybe that’s what’ll make him wanna go into his glorious evolution and feel nothing ..

One thing I am praying they don’t do is turn Viktor into his modern LoL supervillain-like character who sends his mind-controlled chem slaves to go do the dirty work, I really don’t think it would fit in with his character or really compare up to the other antagonistic roles other characters have

I've been thinking about these two f/os and the fact they're kiiinda similar.

I can't say I have a type but...these two guys...

Both are fucking geniuses and their primary field of expertise is metallurgy and, wait for it, AUGMENTATION. Oh and yes, first, augmentation of SELF.

A line from Silas' bio would perfectly describe both of them: "the line between genius and maniac is often blurred." I'm not saying Viktor is obsessive but VIKTOR IS OBSESSIVE. May I also add that both of them were deemed to fucking die and saved themselves from dying by doing horrendous things? Oh, yes...

"Finally, flesh and artifice could truly become one." I see a pattern here.

They also have their Disney princess sidekicks, Silas has Izold and Viktor jas Blitzcrank, who are both playable characters from their respective games.

And just look at them, aren't they both skinny men who went bonkers and added beautiful attachments to their already beautiful bodies? I definitely think so. And look at the hair, look at the masks, the glowing eyes for fuck's sake!

In conclusion, I definitely do have a type. Now I need to draw these to argue about who likes me more. Apart from that, they would definitely vibe.
