is there a chance you could upload your old homestuck art on deviantart (for the highest quality since twitter compresses the hell out of everything, plus it's being weird with the NSFW posts nowadays), or alternatively dump it all in a .zip file for us to download?

have to admit I had a chuckle that you suggested deviantart, of all places, as a place to upload my old homestuck art. like, I appreciate the concern over the quality of the images! but also, there is already some old Homestuck art over on my old DA account, and one of the reasons I didn't crosspost all my Homestuck art there already at the time I was making it, is that nsfw content ain't allowed there (or it's somewhat allowed but pay-walled? idk I just took a look at their guidelines, I haven't paid attention to their policies in years) every platform ever is weird about nsfw these days

making it available to download is something I've been thinking about for a while (since my blog got deleted, maybe even before that) but rather than "dumping it all in a .zip", I'd prefer to make it into a .pdf, or several .pdfs, considering there's close to a thousand files in my homestuck folder @_@ and that. could take some time to sort and do. and then I gotta find a way to distribute it, and again, it having nsfw in it restricts my options :/

but I thank you for asking about it, love that it was probably prompted my the sudden Homestuck resurgence with the recent announcement and that you remembered my art and want to see it again 🥺 so yeah it's still something I want to do, I never meant for my any of my old art to become unavailable, but I keep pushing it off because of logistic issues. anyone got any suggestion?

Hi Syb! I plan on ordering your calendar first thing tomorrow, but first I wanted to ask if there was extremely graphic nsfw in it? I love all your art but I would much rather know now than have to explain to my mum why there were characters on my calendar doing “stuff”😭 No offence to you btw🫶 love all your art it’s incredible

absolutely fair question!! but don't you worry, there's nothing graphic in there.

it IS very fanservicey though, like we're talking about a bunch of pretty anime boys wearing not that much clothing after all, so many boy-nipples are very much visible on pretty much every page. I think the most explicit page is February and look, I might as well show to give an accurate idea of what I'm talking about

whether that's too explicit or not to hang on a wall, thank you so much for even considering buying my calendar! <3

holding hands, kissing feet, a gentle touch, footjob, caressing faces, foot massage, etc.

I certainly could, it's the kind of tenderness I love drawing! especially hands, but there's room for feetsies too ;p

thank you! <3 it's really hard for me to pick a favorite, it changes all the time when I'm happy with a new piece, like I'm thinking of my latest KiriDeku tattoo artist AU and some Deku-sensei arts I posted on patreon last month haha

but also this KiriBaku piece comes to mind, so I guess it's up there! it's very much my brand of tenderness that is also sexy and has pretty light

I love the way you draw feet and hands! Which do u have a harder time drawing?

aw thanx!! feet are definitely a little bit more challenging, especially when drawing them from a more unusual angle. with hand at least it's easier to just look at them in a mirror to have the exact reference you need, but it can be a bit more complicated with feet

hello! it's been a bit up and down in the last few weeks but mostly ok, thank you for asking :3

it's funny to me that you see me as putting out art quickly, because I don't feel I've drawn a lot recently, but I always feel like that when I don't draw for like a week or two, but that's not very long in the grand scheme of things (like you said over a decade) I wouldn't say I get burnout, but I do get little art slumps here and there, where the inspiration just isn't there, and really the best way out of them is just to wait it out, because the itch to draw always comes back sooner or later and trying to force myself to draw rarely helps, because then I might just make something I'm not super satisfied with and it'll only prolong the slump u_u

You probably get asked this a lot, but do you have art tutorials on how you do your coloring/shading? Your style is to die for omg

not really, definitely not anything recent! I used to have a few tutorials (on my old blog) on how I color certain details or achieve certain effects but nothing that explains the whole process... mostly because I wouldn't know how to explain ^^;;; and I use a few completely different processes depending on the vibe I'm aiming for and also my level of energy/patience for a given drawing XD

How do you think Deku's closest friends/family would react to him suddenly crying? I've been reading a lot of Angst and Hurt/Comfort fanfic and I was curious to see what you'd think.

Personally, I think Ochako would immediately hug him, no questions asked.

Bakugo would guide him to somewhere they would sit down and he'd stick with him.

but like, why is he crying? because Deku suddenly crying is just a thing he does every time he gets an emotion, he's a crybaby that's part of his character, and I say that in the most affectionate way I love that side of him X3

how his friends will react will just depend on why he's crying in the first place so yeah Ochako might hug him, or offer him a tissue, maybe they're sit down and have a talk, we know Todoroki and Iida will offer him food and try to cheer him up Bakugou I see being not very comfortable with other people's tears, so he might nope out of here or say something to make Deku stop crying Kiri being a empathic crier would just cry with him and they'd flood the room u_u

:0 a ship ask! it's been so long! always liked answering those on my old blog~

KiriMina is fine with me, though it's obviously not my fave haha I have unusual headcanons about the ship too that aren't very compatible with what I've seen of the ship in the fandom (or even in later canon lmao), so I don't really seek it out most of the time!

my personal opinion is they'd be more fun as a sort of rival ship, I feel it's something that could happen naturally with the way their personalities clash, how Kiri saw her being so naturally talented while he had to work hard and had all his insecurities, and the way she was teasing him when they started at UA? that's something that could spark a sort of rivalry imo
